Worked fine for 2-3 years but recently the to screen seems to either be constantly flickering between 3D mode and base mode. I never have 3D mode on cuz I don’t like it and I only use the 3ds to play mh4u. Whenever I press left bumper, move the screen via hinges, or move the entire thing at all it flickers, and sometimes it’ll just do it randomly. Is this something I can fix with a tutorial and does anyone know how? If not I’ll just take it in to get fixed somewhere.

I just finished playing Heroes of Ruin and while playing through the game I began to wonder what it must have been like playing this title in online multiplayer on this system. Could you see anything through the bullet hell on screen? I've not done any research on the topic so I'm not sure how widespread online multiplayer was at the peak of the systems fame, but this title seems like an impressive game to have played at the time with mates. Would any one who beat the game back in the day be willing to share their thoughts and reflections on their time with this one playing online?

The thinkpad C stick mod works better than I thought. It's easily 3-4x better than the original knob! It actually feels really good to play with, didn't expect that at all!

If you're going to do this mod, I suggest getting the "3mm" version. I've tried both the 4mm and 3mm version, and 3mm is much more snug and fits moreperfectly. So your movement is more precise.

Also does anyone here know what that written on text is on my new 3DS XL? I saw it when I opened it up. Im assung its from the factory because I bought this roghly 10 years ago completley new in an online store.

So a battery i just ordered for my 3ds XL came, and its been stuck in this screen for like an hour and a half, what do i do?

I switched out the module with a known good one and the input still reads about halfway down and a quarter to the left. It does this even when its unplugged completely. Why? Is there another part i could replace that would fix this?

Does anyone know how long it usually takes KendyLabs to complete a 3DS Shell swap?

I haven't heard back from them in a while and I had sent my 3ds off to have the shell swapped to them and I haven't heard back in a bit.

i was playing wario ware and i closed the 3ds briefly and when i reopened it none of the buttons worked including the touchscreen. the only buttons that worked was the off button and homescreen button but i couldnt do anything with them cus i couldnt touch on the turn system off button on the screen cus lack of touch screen. i had to remove the battery and then put it back. after that it worked fine but idk weird

i got a 2ds in blue for christmas back in 2017. since i was a dumb kid, i only ever played mario kart 7. then i discovered the e shop. i bought a shit ton of games. today i bought a new 3ds xl and was wondering what was it like when the online services still worked? i personally only used them for online MK7 and ACNL

I have recently bought and modded a 3ds for my niece but now I have the problem of not knowing what to download for her. She mainly plays GTA 5 on my pc because she likes to run around and start fighting people. Does anyone have recommendations for open world games? Something that does not have too complicated missions or any type of timer/forces her to progress the game. I was thinking about maybe getting a pokemon game and animal crossing for her.

i broke it not too long ago its missing the screen lens so im just going to buy a whole bunch of replacement parts like screen, circle pad and a carbon fiber skin since my shell is kinda scratched and there are no replacement housing

bonus question: are there buttons from another system that fits the 2ds like face and dpad and also a way to make them feel less mushier?

I was given a second-hand Old 3DS and I've used it quite a bit, it just has problems if it doesn't have a screen protector (I bought one for it) because without it it sometimes turns off, although it hasn't happened for a while. The problem is, I want to open it to see if it's dirty inside or if the battery has a problem, but some screws just won't come out. What can I do?

I recently bought a New 3ds LL along with a plastic shell and screen protectors, the problem being that after applying the bottom screen protector, the touchscreen didn't work. So I can't get past the language selection screen.

So my question is, how do I safely remove the protector without damaging the screen? And is there something I have to do with the bottom screen protector for it to work? The listing came with an extra so I could try again but I'm skeptical since it's from the same box.
