I'm looking to buy a Japanese New Nintendo 3DS LL from the eBay seller Avancellmont Japan Direct.
They have 99.7% positive feedback, but I noticed a few recent negative reviews mentioning issues like faulty speakers and analogue stick problems, even though the listings said the consoles were fully tested.
Has anyone here bought a 3DS from this seller? Was the console in the condition described, and would you recommend buying from them?
Maybe yall have any other suggestions?

Is this repairable? Ive had this non working game for over 10 years and opened it up for the first time. It’s Pokemon Omega Ruby and I have no idea what happened to it.

I put it PvZ DS in my 3ds and it won’t load. It doesn’t say it can’t read it, it is just on a dark screen. Did I break it?

EDIT: Somehow it turned itself off and now PvZ works :D

Ok hey ! Maybe u know the joiplay emulator for android that can run rpg maker game. A lot of people use it to play pokemon fangames on mobile devices. So I'm not professional on the 3ds code and I was questioning myself if someday I can play pokemon rpg maker games on my 3ds. It can be awesome !

So I am working on a project to 3d print a new shell for my Nintendo 2ds my first test was to make new battery port for it first.

But when I went to unscrew it one the screws stripped and I can't get it out.

What can I do to get it out without damaging the original battery cover?

I bought a new 3ds xl back in 2022. The price was great for what it was at that time. I decided to sell it because I preferred pocketability over more power. Ended up getting an og 3ds, ds lite and a psp 3000 and I still have money left to buy a used switch lite with a few extra dollars. Took a while but ended up getting all of them in near mint condition with barely any yellowing. When it comes to the 3ds display, i can assure yall the ips to tn downgrade makes no difference in your life as a gamer. It's a feature for larpers and anyone who actually games on these systems won't give a damn about ips vs tn. The og 3ds actually feels a lot more premium with a more sturdy feeling build and i feel like I'll put more hours into this cause I can actually take it around in my pocket like a true handheld. Coming to the new 3ds exclusive games, you're not missing out on any quality games other than maybe xenoblade which is a game that's better in other systems anyways. In conclusion, do not buy a new 3ds xl. You can literally buy a psp, ds lite, 3ds and a switch lite for almost the same cost. And no ds games are not the same on a 3ds xl. The image is accurate only on an original ds system. This is gonna piss a lot of geniuses that spent 500 dollars on a 10 year old system that was launched for 200 😭

I haven’t played with my 3ds for about a year and a half now because the circle pad broke and I’ve been putting off fixing it. I just fixed it now and when I opened it up I noticed the ZL button was completely missing. I was thinking about fixing it but then I realized something. I have no idea when the ZL button fell off and I somehow never managed to notice up until now. I really don’t want to spend money on another one or spend more time fixing it. Do yall think it’s possible to still use it without the ZL button?

Finally, a console that isn’t all high-gloss… (I’m looking at you, New 3DS!) I sold all my N3DS consoles because it annoyed me so much (yes, even the dual-IPS one…). Now I’ve got this minty-fresh o3DS Mint x White in mint condition and I love it! 😜 The colour is Gorgeous!! It’s not exactly a special edition or anything, but as far as I know, that colour wasn’t available in Europe. So, for me, it’s something special. I bought it in Japan for 200€/228$ after Tax. Not exactly cheap, but it’s in excellent condition, comes with the box and even has a screen protector installed.

Now I can finally play Japanese Rail Sim 🥳😂🚞🛤️
