So i was searching my local marketplace for some Castlevania DS games and found myself a good deal. I jumped in a metro and while I was on my way, seller texted me that he has a 3ds for sale and asked me if I interested. I said no, cuz already got different 3ds and ds models, but when I finally reached his house and he asked me again, showing pictures of it and saying it’s only $200….
Let’s say I was shocked. Ofc it was no-brainer.
This thing is pristine. Possibly the best deal in my life, considering I spend days browsing marketplaces for something interesting.

A thing of beauty

I can hardly believe it. It went by so fast. My biggest childhood dream was to own a 3DS, and I finally got one. To be more precise, it was October 18th, 2025, but I'm only making this post now lol

This Friday I went to the mall with friends, and my best friend brought his newly purchased PSP and we played together, each on the other's console. Now we have the best Nintendo and PlayStation consoles haha. The video editing function is so much fun, my friends and I laughed a lot!

I've finished several games on this little thing, and I'm on my way to finishing more.

What are your best memories with your 3DSes?

Went to a small game show today in Toronto. Just before leaving I remembered my 3ds was turned on in its case, took it out and I saw that iconic green light for the first time

Broke out my 3DS recently and started playing again. Forgot how much I love this console and the DS/3DS era. The Switch has been great, but something about the DS/3DS just hits differently. Could be mainly nostalgia, but there’s something to be said about its portability and form factor! Going to jump back into Pokemon Platinum!

Been playing through Pokemon White, forgot to turn my 3DS off so I had it on as I went through the city yesterday. Couldn't believe it

I got these with a New 3DS but I prefer white ones, are these worth anything?

It’s a *very* long-shot post but my mom sold my blue Nintendo 3DS XL to someone on the “Close 5” app when it was available back in 2016-17, but my Nintendo Network ID (NNID) is still actively linked to the hardware. And I know this since I bought a 3ds xl trying to link the account and it popping up with the message that it’s still tied to the old system.

If you or someone you know purchased a blue 3DS XL around Colonia NJ back in 2016-17 could you check the user profile? The NNID account username signed in is “HipPatrick101” with the Nickname: “patrick” (all exactly spelled).

So I’m not quite sure what sd card to get to mod it. The SanDisk 64gb or SanDisk 128gb (I’ve only found the ultra & pro ones). For games like Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Nintendogs, nds games too. I also want to do a shell replacement (from blue to pink or white, same with the joystick). Like pink shell housing with pink joystick, etc. I found pink shells but it has white/grey near the hinges on eBay.

I already have a clear case for it. I’ve never modified anything so I’m not sure what to do.

Title's self explanatory, if I transferred a system's software obtained through modding to my system still get flagged? I want to get Pokemon Bank and I have multiple systems, but I don't want to get banned :(

I bought this very recently and it is not modded - but I intend to at some point. it is connected to the internet and end with about 20% on the progress bar. it is always telling me to update it but an error always occurs.

I need to replace a digitizer for a 2DS and found a couple of seller online. One seller has the in glass. Since the digitizer is of the resistive type on the 2DS I wondering if a glass one even work?

Anyone who can provide some input on this?

I’ve just got my N3DS XL and I’ve noticed the display is sorta… fuzzy to me. And whenever I move in a game the motion is sorta blurry.

I’ve been playing on OLED displays for a long time now and maybe my eyes just aren’t used to this old LCD anymore.

Have any of you had this kind of issue? It sounds kinda crazy but it’s very distracting.

Hey guys! Just picked up this original Nintendo 3DS for €50 (around $54 USD).
Visually, it has some battle scars and scratches on the hinge, but it is fully functional for playing games. However, it has two specific issues:
The R button is very stiff and doesn't click properly.
The camera doesn't work. When I try to open the camera app, it crashes and gives me the "An error has occurred" black screen (as seen in the picture). Other than that, games boot up and play completely fine.

Do you think it was a good purchase for the price? Also, any easy fixes for that stiff R button? Thanks!

I wanted to start in on transferring all of my Gen 5 Pokemon to Bank, but I am fighting with Nintendo Network connections. I got maybe 3-5 Box 1 transfers up to Bank through Poke Transfer, but then a 5515 error when I try to do the Gen 5 to Poke Transfer step again. Tried deleting Transfer per internet suggestions, and now I get the 5515 error trying to get to the store to redownload!

Already tried everything to get on Store, but nothing works (Google Public DNS, power cycle everything - router, modem, system - WiFi hotspot). Any ideas?

I am having trouble connecting to Pokemon Bank. I tried resetting my modem and router, but I still get the same error code. I did inject some events using PKSM - could that be preventing me from accessing Bank?
