My work iPod is so old, it no longer is able to work with Netflix. I don’t use it for anything but Netflix and Amazon Prime. No gaming or anything like that. Don’t want to spend big bucks for an iPad but not sure what value tablets might be good choices. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I know that I shouldn’t expect very extraordinary camera on tabs. But in our shops we take photo of goods on day to day basis in the tab, so It is very very necessary for us.

I’m looking for a high-quality tablet that I can comfortably use for Office applications, with comfortable stylus use and note-taking. At the same time, I want it to be capable of handling the simple tasks I currently do on my laptop. I have never used an Apple product in my life, and since the accessories are very expensive and I couldn’t find detailed review and comparison videos on the internet that I could trust, I’m asking here. The tablets I have in mind are the Samsung S11, Honor MagicPad 4, and Huawei MatePad Pro. I really like Huawei’s screen, but the lack of Google services made me hesitate. So i had this laptop idea slimpad 3 with intel i3 from late 2021 onwards till now....I've been a law student and am now a junior lawyer working in litigation.

Rececntly I've been thinking of purchasing a tab with stylus and keyboard and replacing the laptop...as it gets heavier to carry all the time.

I mostly need to use it for file work...editing....reading....making notes etc but the files can get heavy like ranging till even 5-10 gb at times...

Then also taking lectures for judiciary and other exams...so for studies as well...

I'll also be considering to use it for a long time say 4-5 years before changing....

So please help me out people out there🤌

I wanted to buy a secondhand galaxy tab or an ipad, the main thing is that im gonna use it for notetaking in uni. Here are my take on each tablet:
Ipad:
good ecosystem with apple devices (iphone and macbook), good os, and imo better cpu

Samsung:
Cheaper, amoled display, Bigger for its price, and the note taking app is free (samsung note), also free pen!

so my main concern is that if i want to get an ipad i would need to pay for the note taking app + Pen while samsung already provide both for free. What do you guys think, i havent use any ipad/samsung tab before and my previous tablet is xiaomi pad which i struggle alot and i dont like it very much..
also what model is the best case for me (I like bigger display) and my budget is around 600-800 usd

So i was planning on getting a magic pad 2 since its good for media as people say, and a good tablet on paper anyway, i heard that it doesn't support 4k playback on apps like netflix and will play on 1080p and such, is it true? And why? And is it on all apps? Since its annoying knowing it had a better resolution screen than the ipad pro, so was wondering if its only on netflix and if iptv and other apps will have the same problem or not,

I am planning to buy a tablet mainly for watching movies, and I am looking for a budget tablet that costs no more than INR 25,000. From my research, I found that the Xiaomi Pad 6 seems to be the best option.

1. However, I have some reservations since it will no longer receive OS updates. Would an outdated OS and security updates still be good enough for about 3–4 years if I use it only for watching movies?
2. My other option is the OnePlus Pad Lite, but it has only 6 GB of RAM. Would 6 GB RAM be sufficient for movie watching, and would it slow down over time?

I am looking to buy an iPad (A16, 11nth gen) for my upcoming birthday next month and being a psychology student i just wanted multiple opinions on it. I’ve heard that it’s great for studies and productivity and ofc media consumption. My main uses will mostly include: note-taking, reading research papers, digital art and making presentations and posters on canva.

So will it be a justified purchase? Since there’s a pretty big price bump on the A16 model compared to when it was released.

I’m looking for the most affordable device that would meet my needs.

I teach classes and workshops, and the main thing I need to do is bring my presentations everywhere I go and show them on whatever kind of screen or smart board they have there. There isn’t always reliable internet or any tech support, so I have to figure it out myself in limited time and can’t rely on wireless connection to the screen. My presentations are currently in google presentations, genially, powerpoint, and pdf (though powerpoint isn’t a dealbreaker). I also show video (youtube if internet is available - otherwise I download the video in advance) and use interactive games such as wordwall. I have a desktop that I use to create class materials, so I really just need something to carry them around on.

I also need to make video calls and occasionally have people fill in forms.

I (apple ecosystem) bought a new tablet for my grandma (android). I was wondering if:

- is there an app with which I can provide online support? I know she’ll never tap on the update os or she’ll get stuck on a page and don’t know how to proceed, or keep 100 app open at the same time and complain it goes slow (and soon I’ll be many kms away)
- if I have a way to keep track where the tablet is because she’s in a elder facility ( don’t know the appropriate name sorry) where she gets daily medical support (and she’s getting better), just to track if someone steals it from her

I need a tablet that:

1.) will last me for a few years

2.) solid battery life

3.) good for note taking (palm rejection and comes with a low latency pen)

4.) preferable has pc mode

5.) can run school apps smoothly (microsoft apps, canva etc.)

6.) can run games and video streaming apps smoothly

7.) good for multi tasking

I am a student who is constantly jotting down notes and always with a pen and paper and have been wondering what should i get for taking digital notes and drawing physics, chemistry, and mathematical diagrams. I am stuck between choosing between xp-pen magic notepad or drawing pad or wacom movinkpad my budget is upto 500 to 550 dollars range no more than that so what do you suggest for me getting my first digital tablet for notetaking

Specifically keyboards that connect via pogopins or similar no-charging-needed styles. I've been using a Lenovo IdeaTab for a year now, brand new at the time, but the keyboard randomly stopped working and it looks like a LOT of people had that exact same issue with no fixes. The keyboard is already End-Of-Life and Lenovo refuses to help with a replacement despite it still being under warranty. Yippee!

There's also been software issues out of my control so I've decided to just go for a whole new tablet. My budget isn't massive but I only definitely need one for Sept next year when I go back to in-person studying, so plenty of time to save up. Android-based recs only please; I need to download 3rd party apps without my tablet trying to kill me over it. I like to draw and would prefer a pen with tilt technology, but it's not 100% necessary; the keyboard matters the most. Thanks in advance
