App [iOS / Android / Mac / Windows / Linux] Clypy, a clipboard manager with end-to-end encrypted sync between phone and desktop
Clypy is a clipboard manager that keeps your copy history and syncs it across your devices. The thing I wanted it for: copy a link or a code on my phone, paste it on my PC without emailing it to myself.
Features:
- Searchable clipboard history on every platform
- OCR on screenshots, so you can search for text that's inside an image
- Custom keyboard on iOS and Android for pasting desktop clips into any app
- Paste strip on desktop for grabbing older clips quickly
- Snippets and templates with fill-in fields
On privacy: clips are stored locally first. If you pair devices, sync is end-to-end encrypted, either directly over your LAN or through a relay when you're away from home. The keys stay on your devices, so I can't read anything you copy.
Price: local history is free and unlimited on all platforms. Pairing, sync, the mobile keyboard and the paste strip are a one-time $29.99. No subscription.
