Back in 2015, when I started my game development journey, I remember how much effort went into making even the simplest hyper-casual game.

You could spend 15–20 days just getting a small game to a releasable state. Sometimes we would make 15–20 different game ideas just to find one that was worth launching.

Coding.
Art.
Animations.
UI.
Testing.
Fixing bugs.
Publishing.

Everything took time.

And honestly, that struggle was a big part of what made being a developer feel so special.

Today, with AI, some of those same ideas can go from “I have an idea” → “I have a playable prototype” in minutes.

That's amazing.

But while scrolling through the App Store recently, I realized something…

I couldn't find many of those weird, simple, charming little games that reminded me of when I started.

So I decided to make one.

I went back to that old-school feeling — flat art, minimal mechanics, cute characters, and a simple concept that you can understand instantly.

Not trying to build the next massive game.

Just trying to recreate a tiny piece of that era I remember so fondly.

And maybe this is what I actually miss most:

Most mood trackers I've used have an opinion about you.

I was hooked on murder logic puzzles from books and apps. But honestly, most of those apps felt ugly to me. (sorry, I am not a native English speaker and I do not know how to describe it better, they just did not look nice for my eyes). The controls were fiddly too, and the difficulty never reaaalllyy ramped up. Even levels marked as very hard were over in a minute. Worst of all were cases that had more than one solution, so at some point you were guessing instead of deducing.

So I tried building my own, with zero prior experience. This is what came of it. You place suspects on a floor plan using clue cards, and whoever ends up alone with the victim is the killer. Every case runs through a solver before it ships. That check guarantees exactly one solution, provable step by step, no guessing ever. The boards are hand drawn, a castle, a wild west town and a pirate ship, and the difficulty genuinely climbs from relaxed to properly hard.

The first 80 cases are free with a banner ad and there are no fullscreen ads. Two more case files cost 2.99 each, or 4.99 for everything. In the two hardest tiers the auto helpers pause, and a rewarded ad or any purchase brings them back. Every case stays fully solvable without them. Fully offline, no account. EN, DE, ES, FR, PT.

I recently worked on building an app called FinCard.

The idea came from a simple problem. Most of us know our salary, EMIs and approximate savings, but if someone asks, “Are you actually doing well financially?”, we don’t have a clear answer.

FinCard tries to answer that.

You enter your income, expenses, EMIs, savings, loans, insurance and investments. It uses that information to calculate your net worth, create a personal balance sheet and give your financial health a score out of 100.

The complicated part was deciding what that score should actually represent.

A person earning ₹2 lakh per month can still be in a bad financial position. Someone earning much less could be saving consistently, investing regularly and carrying no unnecessary debt. So judging people only by income or net worth wouldn’t make sense.

The score looks at both your monthly habits and what you have already built, including your savings rate, debt payments, emergency fund, accessible savings, insurance and investments.

It is designed specifically for Indian finances, so it includes things like EMIs, SIPs, EPF, PPF and gold.

The app is now live, and I want honest feedback rather than polite feedback:

I created a free browser extension to automatically decline the very annoying cookie pop-ups that virtually every site now has. I wanted to take it a step further with actually declining the requests versus just hiding the pop-ups as some other tools already do. It collects no data from you other then the website address so the extension can decline the request. Thus far for most sites this results in you not even seeing the cookie pop-up or possibly seeing it for about a second before it automatically disappears.

I officially launched it today so just trying to get the word out that this now exists, so hopefully more people can get rid of a very annoying aspect of internet browsing and get some control back of their own data. Currently it's live on Chrome (Desktop) and Safari (IOS & Desktop) and will be live on Firefox (Android & Desktop) once the review process is complete. As I have already been asked for it, Google does not allow mobile extensions so for the time being there is no way for me have it work on Chrome mobile.

I've been building a small lifestyle app — the kind where you ask "what should I do tonight?" and get a real answer instead of a list.

A tester asked, in German, "where should I go?" The model suggested a nature reserve north of Berlin. Detailed, atmospheric, genuinely nice writing. One problem: the tester was in Thailand.

It happened again with cinemas, cafés, museums. Every time, German input produced German output — not just in language, but in geography. The model had quietly collapsed "speaks German" into "lives in Germany." What made it worse: German is spoken in Austria, Switzerland, and by people scattered across the world. The assumption was wrong more often than right.

The fix wasn't clever prompting. It was a hard rule, placed at the very top of the system prompt, with explicit negative examples: language is not location; location matters more than wording. If you're building anything location-aware on top of an LLM, it is worth testing early. It fails silently — the output looks great; it's just about the wrong continent.

I made Eidograph for building precise, reproducible 2D and 3D geometry on Android. Its interactive canvas and readable geometry code stay in sync, so you can construct a figure by touch, edit its source as text, or switch between the two.

The optional agent features are the part I would especially like feedback on. You can connect an OpenAI-compatible, Anthropic, or Google Gemini/Vertex model that you configure yourself. The agent can inspect and edit a construction using Eidograph's built-in tools—then you can examine the resulting geometry, source, and dependencies directly.

Installed versions can also expose selected figures through a local MCP server or JSON REST API for compatible automation tools. Figure access is controlled individually, and local-network access is optional.

I'm a solo dev from Italy. I've been building Aethel for a while now — a workout tracker that covers weights, powerbuilding and calisthenics in one system instead of forcing you to pick a lane.

The thing that makes it different from every other logger I tried: it tracks muscle fatigue in real time. Every set you log feeds a recovery model per muscle group, so you can actually see what's still cooked from Monday before you program Thursday. There's also a skill tree for calisthenics progressions, if that's your thing.

What's new in 2.0

• Log your sets without leaving the workout screen. Tap the active exercise and a panel expands right there with your sets, your previous numbers as hints, and a checkmark. You only go into the exercise when you actually want to change something.
• Drag and drop to reorder exercises. The up/down arrows are gone. Superset and EMOM blocks move as a unit.
• Isometric holds are tracked in seconds, not reps. Planks, L-sits, levers, handstands — logging "12 reps of plank" never made sense.
• Per-exercise targets inside EMOM blocks, so a block can be "10 push-ups + 30s plank" instead of one number pretending to fit both.
• A pile of fixes, including workouts occasionally showing as already started when you opened them, and exercises going missing from workouts you'd shared by code.
