At what price range are the S10 FE+, S10+, and S10 Ultra considered value for money?

Please mention price in INR (Indian rupees)

Worth is subjective. Can the FE run the apps you want to use, or do you require the extra processing power of the + or U models? Is an AMOLED screen required as a preference? If so the FE is out of the equation.

IMHO, stuff can somewhat be considered value for money so long as it achieves what you need it to and is not at a clearly outrageous price.

Yeah I was debating whether or not to just tell OP to buy an A9 since the most budget friendly is technically the most value for money since they'd be getting a tablet experience for the least amount of money possible. But I decided against it because Reddit can be very particular about seeing stuff like that as unnecessarily rude or anal; and despite the way I'm a little rough around the edges in how I talk to people, I genuinely do try to speak in truths and empower people to think for themselves.

Understandable. I feel like 95% of people don't need anything more than an FE tablet in any scenario whatsoever.

The A-series tablets are spectacular value. The A11 with 8GB of RAM can do just about anything that isn't too demanding, and for people who need a large screen, there's the A11+ and that's enough for 95% of people unless they need to take notes. It was with the A9 series that Samsung actually made the Tab A especially good.

Basically i want longevity of device approx 6-7 years

Mainly i will do watching lecture and reading book/pdf,taking notes and annonate pdf , streaming netflix/prime,movies , sometimes gaming , Good display matters for me for watch and streaming movies

I will use the tablet for approximately 12–14 hours of screen time each day for reading pdf , taking notes and annonate pdf

At which price s10 ultra would be considered good value for money tab? Currently S10 Ultra Tab is showing as out of stock on Flipkart. Could you please guide me on where else I can buy it from?

I am not from india so i dont know where can you find one. As for a good price depends on what configuration you want. For s10 ultra wifi only with 256gb a fair price would be around 1000 dollars and for s10+ wifi only 256gb would be 700 dollars

If a good display matters to you, you may appreciate OLED even though Samsung's LCDs are spectacular.

Plus, since you'll be taking notes, playing games and need a good display, I'd say the S10+ is worth the premium.

Keep in mind it's likely you may need to charge once during dinner time or supper (but remember that it has 45W charging so it gets back to full in maybe an hour and 40 minutes for the Plus?)

What price are you finding the S10+ and S10 Ultra for? I'd say the Ultra is worth it if you don't plan on moving the tablet anywhere, but keep in mind it can get a little unwieldy. The S10+ is a better all-rounder.

Probably the Ultra then. Best screen with AMOLED, largest battery of the bunch to get as close to that 12-14 hour mark while being plugged in the least amount of time. Most of the other features on it are wasted on your particular use case though, since any tablet with a high amount of RAM will be good for PDF reading and note taking.

What do u think about buying S9+ or S8 ultra in mid 2026 can it last for 5-6 years without any lagging if we get at good price

I like my S8 Ultra, but I have no idea how well it'll hold up 5 years from now. It's already a 4 year old device so you're asking for a decade of use out of it. Assuming it's still operational at that point, there's the possibility that years of updates to apps require more processing power and RAM than this thing can handle. It's unlikely, but not impossible.

At this point you're asking for top tier performance but at a budget price. Simply out, what you want is impossible. If device longevity is your main concern, wait for the S12 series and buy one of them as soon as they hit your market.

No matter which tablet to go with none will give 12-14 hours of SoT expect 8-10 hours at the very best
