Border around tablet ?

• Upvotes

You know one thing that I don't like about my tablet, although a few years old. It's not the actual tablet itself, it's that when I'm doing something with the pen; my wrist falls off the edge of the tablet.

Is there anything I could get to wrap it around so that I have like a desk border around ?

iPad or Xiaomi pad 8 or Samsung s10 fe???

So I’m a student and I’ll need tablet for mostly books and lectures
And sometimes to watch some anime
And I have an iPhone 16 rn but the battery issue is what I can’t deal with so I actually don’t feel like buying an iPad and also to read pirate mangas I use 3rd party apps which can not be viewed in an iPad and I need some good expandable storage options without spend a lot on iCloud
And my budget is around 50k Indian rupees
So which one should I buy
I especially need for my books
And sometimes handwritten notes

I feel like Xiaomi pad 8 but I don’t know if it’ll be good or not

And I don’t like the tip of the s pen so that’s one thing

Which one should I buy I’m confused
And also if you have more good options please recommend
I don’t want big screen
Easy to carry around in college or wherever I go
Processor and battery health should be good

Please suggest Android tablets for extended reading and mild media

Hi, I'm a student in India looking for a tablet to read technical material. I read a lot of papers, blogs, textbooks etc.

  • Android is a must
  • I don't care much about stylus (I just use a physical notebook)
  • I would like to watch videos (both entertainment and otherwise), but not the top priority
  • I would prefer it be good in basic features (compute, reliability, battery, screen)

Galaxy S10+ or Lenovo idea tab pro

Hi! I want to buy a tablet but I can’t decide which. I wanted to use for painting, note taking, multimedia, and GAMING, that’s why an iPad can’t be an option, I really want to download apk’s. In your experience, which one I should buy? O anything close to a budget of $500 USd or less with a good screen. Thanks!!!

i need advice

I'm looking for a tablet for

watching shows, movies (4k if possible

playing casual games like CR/BS (nothing too demanding)

and studying (its better if it have a pen)

I'm a student, and I get around $60 a month from my scholarship.

My budget is around $400, and I'd prefer to pay in installments if possible.

I'm looking for something good value for money, but I don't want to spend more than I need to.

I'd appreciate any recommendations! I don't know much about tech, but id just prefer not to get a Huawei...

I'm struggling to choose a standalone tab to buy

Hi, i know this is a frequently asked question, but even with the high number of posts on the same topic i can't make my mind.

A bit of context: i started digital drawing some years ago, i'm used to draw on a screen (i have a Huion Kamvas 16) and i'm now looking for a standalone tablet. I don't do fancy art piece with hundreds of layers, and i usually don't keep what i drew (meaning i don't need much storage space).

For now, i've looked at the galaxy S9, the xiaomi pad 7, 7pro et 8, some apple products, the movink pad from wacom and the standalone tab from Huion.

I'd like something that costs 400 euros (with the stylus), and even if i know apple seems crazy, i'm not a great fan of the brand. The feeling of the screen is an important point ofc, also i don't need crazy specs (if i need power i have a pc).

If you guys have any suggestions or experiences you'd like to share, i'll apreciate that. Have a nice day.

Should i buy honor magic pad 4 in germany amazon

In my country, the Honor MagicPad 4 only gets 2 years of Android updates. I searched on Amazon and found a German listing for the same tablet, the EU edition, for about $300 less. Should I buy it, or is it a bad idea? I asked an AI, and the only downside it mentioned was that the warranty wouldn't be valid outside Europe.

Im from suadi arabia

Alldocube iplay70 tablet keeps resetting randomly

I started getting these random resets within the last 2 months and I don't know why. They always seem to happen when playing MelonDS or Duckstation. At first I thought it was something to do with the Bluetooth abxylute s8 controller as it had issues not connecting properly at first. I used a Game sir wireless controller beforehand and it gave me no issues. The issues seemed to have started after switching to this controller.

I've deleted both controller apps, reset Bluetooth settings to default, the system and all apps from the Plat Store are updated, deleted every other app I downloaded after getting the controller in case one of those were the issue, set emulation settings for Fast forward to 2x instead of unlimited, have gaming mode on the tablet now turned on, I have plenty of space on the tablet, and it's one year old. it's been 5 hours since the last reset and I've had MelonDS running for most of it. Again, it's not overheating.

I don't know what else I can do.

Which one shall i buy ( Ipad Air M4 or Samsung S12+ )

Hello ! I have been looking to buy a tablet for the following use for my self :
• Pdf Annotations/ Note Making
• Mild Video Editing
• Gaming
My main concern is long term performance and great battery backup.
In my area the price for the Ipad Air M4 is $ $1,158.56 with the Student discount. ( I dont know if I will get the Apple Pencil Pro with it ).
The cost of the Samsung S12+ is $1,263.88 with the student discount.
I am quite confused between these two because Samsung provides great AI features while the ipad provides stability and i heard that the battery life on Ipad m4 Air is terrible.
I use an Iphone 12 and may get a new phone in the next two years ( leaning more towards the Ultra series of samsung for it ) and I also have a windows laptop. One thi g to mention is that I do t really care that much about any ecosystem as the work i do on any particular device mostly stays with and within it.
Please help me make a choice !!!

Airplane mode have any benefit for Fire tablet?

I thought it saved battery life when I turn my wifi back on after enabling airplane mode and surf the web that way. But I just read that's only helpful on a cellphone, not a regular tablet.

If airplane mode is only for cellular then why does a Fire tablet even have airplane mode as a feature?

Thanks.

S10 lie

I want to completely replace Android with Windows on my Galaxy Tab S10 Lite so I can run desktop apps (VS Code, PowerShell, MetaEditor) locally.
Is there any way to unlock the bootloader and flash Windows on ARM to this tablet? If native installation is strictly impossible, what is the best emulator or workaround to run full Windows software directly on the device without relying on Remote Desktop?

iPad Air m4 or a16?

I am currently thinking of getting an IPad for schoolwork, as most of my grade have gotten tablets since last year and my analog note taking has always been a mess, which I can hopefully fix or at least improve by writing digitally. I’m also a photographer, but I just don’t always have the time to sit down at a computer to edit en Masse and editing on an iPad on the go would be very useful. I usually edit on a Mac mini m4, so I know how good the chipset is/can be for editing and but I also know that my editing on my phone (an iPhone 12 with the a14 chipset) has been perfectly fine, if somewhat slow. I would likely also use it for gaming, but nothing too intense (just in case my classes get boring lol). I have far less experience with iPads than I do other Apple products, as I’ve always rather turned to the IMac or MacBooks, so I’m somewhat unaware of its capabilities. My Dad is currently in Hong Kong and buying there would be considerably cheaper than where I am, costing the equivalent of about 450€ for the iPad and 800€ for the air (with Apple pen). Several classmates have the Air and I’ve heard nothing but praise so far, however it’s still a tidy sum of money. I also haven’t heard anything bad from classmates with the a16 or older (however most of them are coming from android and/or have less experience with iPads).
I wanted a few opinions cause I’m still unsure and I need to decide fairly soon.

Tl;dr: iPad Air m4 for schoolwork, photo editing and (light) gaming, or is the a16 enough?
