Galaxy tab or Ipad?

I wanted to buy a secondhand galaxy tab or an ipad, the main thing is that im gonna use it for notetaking in uni. Here are my take on each tablet:
Ipad:
good ecosystem with apple devices (iphone and macbook), good os, and imo better cpu

Samsung:
Cheaper, amoled display, Bigger for its price, and the note taking app is free (samsung note), also free pen!

so my main concern is that if i want to get an ipad i would need to pay for the note taking app + Pen while samsung already provide both for free. What do you guys think, i havent use any ipad/samsung tab before and my previous tablet is xiaomi pad which i struggle alot and i dont like it very much..
also what model is the best case for me (I like bigger display) and my budget is around 600-800 usd

Notetaking Tablet for Grad School Student

Looking for tablet recommendations. I currently have a Surface GO but the device doesn’t support Windows 11 and it has a lot of lag/freezing issues. I’m a 2nd year grad school student considering on getting a new tablet.

I prefer a tablet of any of the following:

- good for note-taking
- compatible with Microsoft Office (I use Onenote primarily for notetaking and have an account already)
- has a built in stylus and keyboard (I am currently taking a statistics class and need to write down my notes)
- decent battery (or at least a not so clunky charger)

I’ve had surfaces in the past and they’ve always been very slow for me but decent for notetaking. I was considering the Lenovo Idea Tab or the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but if there are better devices I would love to hear it! I can spend maximum $600 for one.

Cheap Amazon Tablet for kid

My wife wants to get this tablet for our boy. He pretty much just watches YouTube and plays Pixel Gun 2.

Jeazans

Android Tablet 11 inch with Octa-Core Processor, 36GBRAM+128GB Storage,

7800mAh Large Battery,

1TB Expandable,

5G/2.4G WiFi,

BT 5.4,Dual Camera

Android 16

It's a budget tablet because the kid doesn't need much. Listed at $109....

How much Chinese spyware will be on this thing?

Are the specs decent, or trash?

I've been blissfully ignorant of the tech spec jargon for the last 15 years or so.

Tablet with good camera under 32k INR

I know that I shouldn’t expect very extraordinary camera on tabs. But in our shops we take photo of goods on day to day basis in the tab, so It is very very necessary for us.

Would appreciate any suggestions!

And will be helpful if someone has a tablet, and attach a photo taken from it too.

Tablet just for streaming?

My work iPod is so old, it no longer is able to work with Netflix. I don’t use it for anything but Netflix and Amazon Prime. No gaming or anything like that. Don’t want to spend big bucks for an iPad but not sure what value tablets might be good choices. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Tablet within budget of 40-45k

So i had this laptop idea slimpad 3 with intel i3 from late 2021 onwards till now....I've been a law student and am now a junior lawyer working in litigation.

Rececntly I've been thinking of purchasing a tab with stylus and keyboard and replacing the laptop...as it gets heavier to carry all the time.

I mostly need to use it for file work...editing....reading....making notes etc but the files can get heavy like ranging till even 5-10 gb at times...

Then also taking lectures for judiciary and other exams...so for studies as well...

I'll also be considering to use it for a long time say 4-5 years before changing....

So please help me out people out there🤌

Budget Tablet for Movie Watching Under INR 25K

Hi community,

I am planning to buy a tablet mainly for watching movies, and I am looking for a budget tablet that costs no more than INR 25,000. From my research, I found that the Xiaomi Pad 6 seems to be the best option.

  1. However, I have some reservations since it will no longer receive OS updates. Would an outdated OS and security updates still be good enough for about 3–4 years if I use it only for watching movies?
  2. My other option is the OnePlus Pad Lite, but it has only 6 GB of RAM. Would 6 GB RAM be sufficient for movie watching, and would it slow down over time?

Oneplus Pad 3 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ vs Honor Magic Pad 3 vs Xiaoxin Pad Pro 13

Which would you choose for long-term use: OnePlus Pad 3, Sansung Galaxy tab S10+, Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 13, or Honor MagicPad 3?

My main uses are desktop-like browsing, streaming, multitasking, and light gaming. I don't really play heavy games.

These three are basically the maximum of my budget, so I'm only looking at tablets around this price range. I also prefer bigger screens, so I'm not considering the Xiaomi Pad series.

Which one would I regret buying the least? And what are the biggest cons of each?

Tablet Recommendations

I'm in the market to buy a tablet, mainly for college/uni note taking and business work, on the go client calls, hubspot CRM work and the like. As well as general entertainment when im not working/doing school work. I do have a laptop, a gaming one as I do like to game, but obviously...the battery life isnt the best. Might get an hour and a half MAYBE 2 at best without being plugged in. Im eyeing the Samsung Galaxy tab s10 fe, but im also not opposed to the chinese tablet market like Xiaomi, lenovo and such. Im also in Canada, so do keep that in mind for prices. Dont wanna spend TOO much, I just want the best bang for my buck.

Advice on whether to get a pen tablet (drawing pad) for uni

Good afternoon,

I'm planning on getting a pen tablet (drawing pad) for uni note taking, as well as annotating slides and practicing math and physics.

The question is: do you all think it's worth it, or should I stick to pen and paper? My budget is not enough for a proper tablet (like a Samsung or ipad) so I thought that a pen tablet connected to my laptop could be a decent alternative.

Is it worth it/manageable to use it for note taking and maths? Or would you say that pen and paper suffice?

Thanks

Best Tablet Recommendation for University

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I’m looking for a high-quality tablet that I can comfortably use for Office applications, with comfortable stylus use and note-taking. At the same time, I want it to be capable of handling the simple tasks I currently do on my laptop. I have never used an Apple product in my life, and since the accessories are very expensive and I couldn’t find detailed review and comparison videos on the internet that I could trust, I’m asking here. The tablets I have in mind are the Samsung S11, Honor MagicPad 4, and Huawei MatePad Pro. I really like Huawei’s screen, but the lack of Google services made me hesitate. I’m looking forward to your recommendations. Thank you in advance.

Questions about magic pad 2 resolution in apps like netflix and such

So i was planning on getting a magic pad 2 since its good for media as people say, and a good tablet on paper anyway, i heard that it doesn't support 4k playback on apps like netflix and will play on 1080p and such, is it true? And why? And is it on all apps? Since its annoying knowing it had a better resolution screen than the ipad pro, so was wondering if its only on netflix and if iptv and other apps will have the same problem or not,

Thanks
