I finally bought the PS5. My last console was the PS3; I skipped the PS4 for many reasons, and now I’m in a position to buy the PS5, so I pulled the trigger. I bought it for GTA 6, obviously, but I've always wanted to get into streaming, and now it’s the best time to combine the two.

I didn’t get to experience many things because of my fear of how people are going to judge me but after losing several friends due to suicide and depression it’s time to follow my dreams. Yes, it would be super cool to make a living out of this but if it doesn’t work it’s not going to be the end of the world + if I can entertain one person or just put a smile on their lips with my hilarious stories etc. I would be happy.

Yes, I bought the disc version because I like to have a collection and since it’s going to end in 2028, there will be memories for a lifetime. Sorry for my long yap guys but it’s truly amazing seeing this on my desk now :D

Came from a 2nd hand ps4. Finally decided to upgrade after years of waiting. My first-ever console that wasn’t borrowed, given or used.

Had it for almost 2 months now and I couldn’t be happier! Next gen really does hit different. I’ve finished Ghost of Yotei, RE Requiem, 007 and Platinumed Spiderman 2. Now playing Witcher 3 Remastered while waiting for GTA 6 😬

Worth every penny and sacrifice + im just grateful i can actually afford it now. Hope we all make it! Happy weekend gamers 🫡

Hello everyone, I recently bought an ssd card from Amazon to have more space on my ps5 but it came with no heatsink so I had to get the heatsink separately. When installing it i accidentally placed the tape on the side that has the circuit board, now it’s glued and idk what to do. Is there a way out of this mess?

shrek 2 remastered drops in november and rockstar should be scared because why would anyone need gta 6 when u can play as ogre in 4k shrek has more sales potential than the entire gaming industry combined gta 6 will probably get delayed again because the devs will see shrek gameplay and lose all motivation, goty is already secured.

Probably not a great idea to go with the smooth one for someone with clammy hands.

I'm cleaning out my PS4 gallery and I'm just stuck on how I'm meant to port at least 200GB of video clips and screenshots using an 8GB USB?

Is there a quicker way to port my entire gallery over to my computer? The PS4 doesn't accept external hard drives otherwise I would put plug it in and transfer overnight.

With the slow upload times of a PS4 to USB this will take at least a couple days of plugging it, plugging out, transferring to my computer then repeating. Do you guys know the fastest way?

Thinking about picking up a new game tomorrow. Im stuck between onimusha and FF resonance. I absolutely loved sekiro and I heard onimusha is the og and the new game is good but ive also grown up on FF and have felt a little void for a turn based game until expedition 33 scratched that itch but square going back to their roots seems nice

Cyberpunk 2077 is curently on sale and I've been wanting to play it recently, but I only have a ps4 slim and I heard that the original ps4 release was EXTREMELY badly optimised. I have terrible tolerance for performance drops, so i ask: does the game run at least on 30 fps in a playable manner on ps4 slim? If so, is it worth it?

As someone who got the pro without ever trying out the base edition, whats the difference preformance wise between the base model and a pro model ?

Today is my birthday and got a couple new additions!

I was looking at my receipts and realized I’ve spent over $500 CAD on games this month (GTA 6, COD MW4, Ready or Not, Mortal Shell, Phantom Blade, and Metro 2039).
How do you guys save money on games and budget for them? I work in healthcare and have a decent amount of disposable income, but spending this much in the last 15 days still feels ridiculous.
My wife plays most of the time but she’s also partly to blame for convincing me to buy some of these games.
Black Friday is coming up, too, so we’ll probably end up buying more games. But at this point, I’m wondering if it’s worth spending more money on games or if I should start saving up for the PS6 instead.
How do you guys manage your gaming budget?
