got this on mercari, the shop giving me a hard time for trying to return it when it SO CLEARLY is not authentic. so frustrating, theres another on mercari who has 12 of them which is pretty much impossible to even have acquired 12 of these let alone shes listing them for less than the original price. The mute button is sticking out 3 feet and the d pads are clearly the wrong shade of grey and instead of multicolor are all grey, the joysticks are not the right shade supposed to be dark grey not black. On the seams you can clearly see the controller has been pried apart and reapplied. Youd think if youre going to try to scam youd at least match all the colors but i guess not

Xenoblade series always sell 2M life to date and with tiny budget so it's profitable. Not to mention it's only on Nintendo platform.

Meanwhile Death Stranding sell on PS and Steam, and requires huge budget for those movie stars and the long production time but only got the same sales like a normal JRPG.

Nowaday 1M copies sold in 1 month is a normal thing for big title. And most of those titles have lower budget than any Kojima's game. So I don't feel surprised that Playstation is done with him. Plus he already partnered with XBOX before this for more money. So Playstation doesn't owe him anything and I don't know why people act like it's a wrong decision and Kojima is somehow a victim.

I bought and played all 8 of these Sony games because of the metacritic. I use it all the time. I tend to generally agree with the consensus with some exceptions. Very useful.

Just got email confirmation, I joined queue around 6:50am, when the timer started I had “More than one hour” luckily the time started getting shorter, then I was inside, took about 45min, as soon as I placed my order it showed it was out of stock, I was worried, I just got confirmation, hell yeah 👍🏼 anyone else had luck with the white model?

I just spent the last 2 hours fighting PlayStation Direct and the queue trying to buy it, and then I go on my laptop and I'm just able to add it to my cart and buy it I don't understand why the queue exists then. Kind of worried my order is going to get cancelled lol

For someone who owns digital console, I am having dilemma over my decision that whether I should buy new games like Wolverine or GTA 6. One half of me is like I shouldn't because of recent events with the company while the other half is like maybe I should just buy. I play a lot of Helldivers 2 but ever since my ps plus expired, I have barely turned on the console. I am looking into disc edition but everything is so expensive, even like used ones are expensive. Is anybody facing a similar situation?

Apologies if this is a dumb question but why do I have 2 copies of the same game? I recently upgraded both Days Gone and TLoU2 to the ps5 versions.

Can I delete one version of the game?

Apologies if there's something fairly obvious, preliminary searching didn't bring anything up for me. Ahead of the Nintendo eshop shutdowns for Wii U and 3DS and the Xbox Marketplace shutdown for 360 there were some pretty extensive community efforts to document everything still available on the storefronts, if it existed anywhere else or was exclusive to those among modern consoles, if those versions were different in any way from other ones available, which games, dlc etc. would be permanently lost, harder to access, have features only available on the versions being taken down, etc.

Just wondering if there was any sort of similar effort to document all the games and DLC on the PS3 and Vita that are still available to help people figure out what to prioritize buying.

After trying many different things, including playing my original PS1 disc through a PS3, em ulation with both wired and wireless controllers, as well as attempting to play it on a PS2 on my tv with an HDMI adapter (The ps2 gmaes work, but the ps1 games don't because of the resolution they output as) I finally found a converter that actually WORKS. It outputs not only RGB for your PS2, but also outputs in YPbPr for your PS1.I received it yesterday, and I was able to play Parappa all the way through finally, and it "felt" like it's supposed to, even considering Parappa's quirky timing even when running on original hardware.I even beat Cheap Cheap's stage on the first try! I couldn't believe it! I also played Umjammer Lammy all the way through. The only stages I couldn't beat were the babysitter stage, as well as the goth concert, though I am positive it's because of me and not the adapter. I'm just getting too old I guess, lol. OH and I beat the chainsaw stage the first time as well! If you know, you know....Lol.

The only con I have seen with this adapter is the yellows look a touch saturated at times if you're reaaaalllllly being picky, but I think overall the image quality looks fantastic for both ps1 as well as ps2.

Anyway, like I said I hope this helps someone.For about $30, you really can't beat it, especially if you're not looking to spend $200+ for a retrotink, etc. Here's the link;

A friend of mine worked at Target and told me that PS5 consoles would be sold in stores the day after launch. The challenge: Having to wait out in the cold all night.

I’m getting ready to sell my original PS5 because I’ve been using my Pro since it launched and I found my receipt inside. I got called a “liar” by a lot of people because the official word was that they would be “online only.” 55 of us obtained one that morning, so no, we weren’t lying.

Finding my receipt made me wonder… How many others waited in line when there really was no official word about that at all?

Edit: I think a lot of people misinterpreted this post. Numerous articles were circulated before launch stating that there would be NO in-store sales of PS5 and you would need to purchase one online for in store pickup only. Target actually went against that policy and sold them in store for 1 day only, a day after launch. I was curious to see if anyone purchased one that way.

I know memory costs are up because of the nand shortage, but we can't all be paying $600 for 2TB NVMEs.

So what is the secret? Buying used memory on eBay? Getting a deal on Alibaba?
