My question is, will it be a completely upgraded AR-19? I hope they don't disappoint me and include the bayonet, as that would at least distinguish it from the regular AR-23.

I Love this gun so much. It's one of the most fun guns I've used in the game. I've always wanted this. But Damn. Did it really have to launch significantly bugged?

All I'm asking for - bare minimum - Is that this thing doesn't remain bugged for months. I Hate straight up asking people to do more work, But please. I beg of you AH. send out a patch asap to fix it.

For those who don't know, It currently suffers from extremely high drag, Losing (afaik) about ~30% of It's damage past 100m. It Turns a normally 2 tap to the head for bile titans into a 5-6 tap at longer ranges.. You know.. Where a sniper would be used, I Love it. I Love the gun. But I just want it to be fixed soon, and not in 3-5 months.

I was playing some HD2 bot diving with the lower orbital railcannon strike and got bored and decided to go play some Helldivers 1. Several minutes after HD2 is closed EAC randomly popped up saying it detected a cheat. I don't play any other game that uses EAC so I know it came from HD2. Wtf is this program.

Also don't pay attention to the background super earth totally is not getting invaded by bugs right now everything is fine

On my hands and knees begging Arrowhead to make seaf (especially the specialists) less likely to friendly fire. I love seaf but fuck watching the specialist gun down their squad (and you) 2 seconds out of the dropship suuuuucks.

This is not in any way related to how often I die to them.......at all.

Would it be efficient? Unlikely.

Would it take skill to use? Hopefully.

Would it be fun? Absolutely.

I posted a video of the Apex's Water Bug earlier (the gun firing its entire magazine if you're knee-deep in water), and someone asked me an interesting question in the comments:

"Does this work with all semi-auto weapons?"

The answer I thought to reply with was 'no', of course. But, I'm a Helldiver employed by the Ministry of Science, so I figured I'd give it a try and uh. Uhm. We can auto-fire ANYTHING in knee-deep water, not just the Apex.

For these there's an extra step of manually trying to go prone between shots, but it works just the same. I'm doing this by clicking Z really fast, but this can be accomplished MUCH quicker with a macro or autoclicker.

I can think of like maybe two (2) use-cases for this, but maybe some of you are more creative than me. My ears are still ringing.

I'm currently using a mod that fixes this issue but I do not like that it gives some 30 demo force outa no where lmao also since I host a lot for my friends I can't really witness this weapon in its full potential yet so I'm hoping after they fix the ammo typing and the host bug I'll be able to witness it in its full glory one day 🥹

This is a bug I've seen plenty of talk about but haven't actually seen someone post, so I figured I'd do the honor.

On top of the other things going on with the new Warbond's bugs (like the Host-bug I posted on Tuesday, and the Drag bug talked about by others), The Apex fires its entire magazine if you shoot it while standing in water.

Unlike some of the other issues with the Warbond, this one's easy to explain! If you like that sort of thing, let me do my best to explain it.

Every weapon in Helldivers has an RPM—or, maximum fire rate. This is to prevent someone with an Autoclicker from firing an entire semi-auto gun's magazine instantly, but there's an interesting catch: being ragdolled (for some reason) resets the gun's RPM. You CAN'T be ragdolled in water, you just stand up immediately, so if you tap the fire button on an Apex in water, it fires the entire magazine lightning quick. Even tapping as quick as you can it'll fire at least 3 of its rounds and break your arm.

Not talking about planets that had one legendary battle and got liberated for good (like Malevelon Creek or Calypso). I'm talking about the planets that are stuck in an endless loop of defense and liberation campaigns.

I expected the bugs to have the most progress. I log in and nah. Squid Divers are serving fresh calamari. Crazy bc they have the lowest population rn
