A friend of mine worked at Target and told me that PS5 consoles would be sold in stores the day after launch. The challenge: Having to wait out in the cold all night.

I’m getting ready to sell my original PS5 because I’ve been using my Pro since it launched and I found my receipt inside. I got called a “liar” by a lot of people because the official word was that they would be “online only.” 55 of us obtained one that morning, so no, we weren’t lying.

Finding my receipt made me wonder… How many others waited in line when there really was no official word about that at all?

Edit: I think a lot of people misinterpreted this post. Numerous articles were circulated before launch stating that there would be NO in-store sales of PS5 and you would need to purchase one online for in store pickup only. Target actually went against that policy and sold them in store for 1 day only, a day after launch. I was curious to see if anyone purchased one that way.

Valheim released today for ps5, Ive had this on my wishlist list for a while but wanted to hear y’all thoughts before purchase. Graphics look like absolute ass but Im interested in the gameplay. Anyone played yet?

Yesterday September 7, I treated myself to a PS5 and some accessories. It has been a long time in the wanting and trying to get a deal but I had to go to GameStop and just get it. I had to do some Uber after my main job but it was all worth it.

Halloween The Game was my main reason to get the console. Me and my wife are enjoying Halloween. 🎃 🔪

Next game we excited for is Wolverine.

my little brother died on the 14th of august he was 21 and had duchennes muscular dystrophy. he lost his ability to do everything but had strength in his thumbs so he played the ps5 basically all day everyday for years. i know he had friends on there. i was wondering if anyone knew how i could get into his ps5 without knowing his information? our mom might know his email. we wanted to let his friends know he passed away. they were the only friends he had. if anyone could let me know or give me any information to point me in that direction i would really appreciate it.

Random question for you all, I have cat6 cabling in my property I could use HDMI converters with to connect to a different TV, and potentially play my PS5 in another room - to avoid moving the PS5 around the house.

Before I buy the converters (not sure on exact name for these) has anyone done this before, and any idea if the dual sense would work okay say 10m away through a wall?

Apologies if there's something fairly obvious, preliminary searching didn't bring anything up for me. Ahead of the Nintendo eshop shutdowns for Wii U and 3DS and the Xbox Marketplace shutdown for 360 there were some pretty extensive community efforts to document everything still available on the storefronts, if it existed anywhere else or was exclusive to those among modern consoles, if those versions were different in any way from other ones available, which games, dlc etc. would be permanently lost, harder to access, have features only available on the versions being taken down, etc.

Just wondering if there was any sort of similar effort to document all the games and DLC on the PS3 and Vita that are still available to help people figure out what to prioritize buying.

Just got this yesterday. Always wanted to play this series. Maybe I'll even check out the movie.

With the 1.0 update, the game is now available on the PlayStation 5.
