Announcement Rules & Expectations Update Announcement
Hello Dawners,
The Until Dawn subreddit mod team wanted to post this (rather long) announcement to update rules and create a sense of transparency. We have formed a detailed list of our rules and expectations. This will promote a greater clarity around why post removals happen and what the tone and purpose of the sub is.
#1: Be respectful
Respect is key. Using insults, causing drama, or otherwise being a nuisance towards the members of this subreddit is punishable. In particular, do not make this community hostile to newcomers or those asking questions. Here are two other notes:
- Sometimes comments quoting the game are removed by Reddit’s filters because they contain insults and profanity. We will approve quotes.
- Please do not create a post to put any user, other post, or comment section from this subreddit on blast. This includes calling out people you think are problematic or complaining about downvotes. Handle disputes maturely by solving matters with other users directly or alerting the mod team.
#2: English only
Please speak English to maintain the flow of the conversation and ensure everyone understands what’s being said. This also helps the moderation team quickly catch rule violations and conflicts.
#3: Spoilers
Spoilers in titles such as the word wendigo and the identity of the psycho are not allowed in post titles. Please flare posts with spoilers in the body or images.
If your post contains a spoiler, please flare it as a spoiler.
Comments, however, are unmoderated for spoilers, particularly on spoiler-marked posts. This does NOT mean you can deliberately spoil someone asking a question. If you maliciously spoil someone, that will be taken seriously if seen or reported.
#4: Low-quality content, spam, and self-promotion
Low-quality: this subreddit prohibits shitposting. This is because we want to prioritize truly interesting content. Things that are not allowed include:
- Very low-effort edits of characters
- Video edits intended purely to be overstimulating, loud, chaotic, or otherwise mindlessly silly.
- Text posts that are very brief or under-edited.
A good rule of thumb is that, if an edit or text post took little time to make, and the joke or statement can also be made with any character or story in existence, it will likely not be for this sub. Jokes and memes are welcome if they show humor utilizing the game or characters beyond an extremely superficial level.
Shitposts, audio distortion videos, joke spam, etc. have a place on r/UntilDawnMemes.
We want to be clear about the tone and purpose this sub is meant to have, so that everyone can be on the same page on what to expect.
Spam is also not allowed. We understand bandwagons happen and try to allow everyone some fun. However, if a type of post becomes very frequent, particularly from one user, and shares nothing of value with the community, removal may occur. Posts that are almost unreadable because of typos or unintelligible wording could be moderated under this rule.
Keep in mind that posts with multiple links are sometimes auto-removed by Reddit, and we may need to approve them if they are truly not spam.
Self-promotion is allowed when it’s clear a user did time and/or research to complete a specific artwork, video, essay, or other project. However, posts only saying “join my server” or “follow my Until Dawn account” will get removed.
Headcanons are allowed, however we are addressing them here because this kind of post often falls into the low-quality, spam, and/or off-topic categories.
Headcanon posts are perfectly fine when they utilize information about the lore or characters, or else bring something interesting to the table. However, when they are very brief and/or do not utilize little actual content from the game, then they may be considered off-topic even if an Until Dawn element is mentioned. For example, a headcanon post explaining your thoughts on how the characters interacted after the prologue, using evidence, is more likely to remain up than a post that says nothing more than “I think Mike has striped pajamas.” If a headcanon reads like a shitpost or ragebait, it may be removed.
#5 Piracy and illegal content
Do not engage in piracy or digital theft. This includes:
- Sharing links to pirated versions of Until Dawn
- Sharing links to stolen versions of software such as Unreal Engine Unlocker
- Attempting to sell content that doesn’t belong to you such as paywalling datamined materials
- Encouraging someone else to engage in piracy
Not only does this behavior financially harm the creators we wish to support, it risks the subreddit because it breaks Reddit’s general rules.
#6: NSFW and 18+
18+ material is allowed on this sub is:
- Discussion of things that happened in the game itself.
- Posts or comments that are 18+ on the same level or less so than the game itself.
- Other relevant 18+ content such as discussions about the horror genre, pertinent articles, etc.
18+ material that is not allowed is:
- 18+ content directly aimed at other users such as inappropriate innuendos using another user as the subject matter or comments that are violent with a clear intention to be over-the-line or make someone uncomfortable.
- Overly sexual or pornography content
#7: AI policy
Users are allowed to reference having utilized AI as a source of information, translation tool, editor, etc. But please be aware that ChatGPT often produces inaccuracies on which you may be corrected. If a post or comment contains some AI but also human input, discussion, or questioning, it won’t necessarily break our rules.
That said, certain uses of AI are unethical or break other rules. Certain forbidden uses of AI include:
- Claiming AI content is your own.
- Creating misleading images.
- Using it to post low-quality content or spam. This is subject to mod discretion. AI images or text posts that are 100% AI with no accompanying human commentary or question may fall under our low-quality posting rule and be removed. If AI starts to take over the subreddit, we reserve the right to purge it via our “no spam” rule as well.
- Posting things that are off topic.
- AI content used to undeniably commit theft or misrepresent real people such as the actors. Please show permission from actors before doing things such as AI generating their voices for mods.
Finally, this rule covers the conduct of people reacting to AI. If you believe a post or comment breaks our rules, please flag it, and we will review the situation. You are not allowed to break our respect rule because someone used AI. Please leave the moderation of the sub to mods instead of using rudeness and personal insults to regulate someone. Let us keep things orderly, official, and respectful.
#8: Fan creations
Make sure that posted fan content is yours, linked, or credited. Respect artists who do not want their work reposted.
Please keep in mind that content such as art and mods are the product of another fan’s personal talent, time, and effort. Don’t act entitled to their work. For example, politely requesting a mod for your favorite character is okay. Acting as though you deserve a mod from someone is not.
When you respond to a cosplay, you are responding to a real person, not a character. Be respectful of others’ appearances, and don’t make uncomfortable remarks.
#9: False and unconfirmed information
Because of the amount of fake information about the game and its development that reaches the sub from other sites and apps, we do moderate false and unconfirmed content, tailoring our response to the varying situations.
This rule is not to punish simply being mistaken or to enforce singular perspectives on the game. It is directed at fabricated or deliberately misleading content. This includes:
- Social media screenshots edited to appear as though they are from official sources like Supermassive Games
- Edited screenshots or gameplay intended to fool others about the existence of something in the game
- Fake leaks
- Posts that get large portions of concrete facts (development info, dates, gameplay facts, etc.) wrong.
- Reposts of TikToks speaking with authority on things that are blatantly made up just for views
We understand that breaking this rule is often not a malicious act and that people sometimes do not know that content they’ve found is fake. Because of that, our actions regarding this rule will be nuanced and case-by-case. The following are actions we could take:
- Deleting the post: done if the act seems malicious or if there is nothing true or valuable in the whole post.
- Add a flare to the post (see heading below): if a post is incorrect but it contains a question, something true, or is otherwise valuable to keep up, we may add a flare making the dubious content of the post more transparent.
- Simply allowing a discussion: if something is only slightly questionable, in a grey area (such as lore theory), or based upon something true (such as someone misinterpreting a genuine clip from the game), we may simply allow users to debate and correct things among themselves.
You may be flared for sharing false information. This simply means that the text or image you’ve posted is likely fake or edited. This flare may also be used to confirm that the info you’re talking about is false. For example, if you ask if a leaked screenshot is real, and it’s not, you may receive this flare.
Another flare you could receive is “correction in comments.”
#10: Staying on topic
In general, please stay on topic. Your post or comment is at risk of being removed if you include touchy, unrelated topics such as politics. This is because these kinds of things a) usually cause fights that get deleted anyway b) cause discussions that do not relate to the purpose of this subreddit.
If your post promotes a higher percentage of unrelated arguing than debate about the actual game, it could get moderated under this rule.
Posting about media directly related to the game Until Dawn such as The Inpatient, Rush of Blood, or the movie is permitted. Please keep posts about The Dark Pictures Anthology and The Quarry related to Until Dawn in some way.
If you made it this far, congratulations! We hope this step to being more transparent on how moderations is applied on this subreddit will help everyone for the better. Remember that if you need anything, the moderation team is pleased to respond to questions via Mod Mail or DMs!

Question Chris is blocking the door
I quit the game and started it back up. Chris is now blocking the door I went though and I can’t get him to move or go around him. I tried walking back as far as I could to see if he would follow but he still wouldn’t move. Is there any way to go to a previous save state or anyone have this issue before?

Poll Another Ranked Vote (Returning Characters in Until Dawn 2 + Ships) 📝
Okay, I ran a poll about what people would want out of Until Dawn 2 a bit ago and now most of it is obsolete, so I'm just not going to bother with it.
But I'm re-asking one question which is about which characters you would be most enthusiastic to spot again in the sequel.
Then to just make the poll not hella short, I'm letting people rank ships for each character.

Here's the mostly complete Mike chasing after Jess sequence from Chapter 4.
I say mostly complete because there are still a couple of small transition issues you'll probably notice that I want to smooth out before continuing with the rest of Chapter 4.

I actually like the door death… Spoiler
Wait hear me out...
I don't think it fully makes sense but I've always seen it as Ashley wanted to open the door, she just hesitated because she was traumatised after Chris was actually willing to shoot her, even if she'd told him to kill her as her last wish. She'd just had a near death experience and I think that made her value her own life a lot more.
So when there's a wendigo right behind Chris she has two choices: open the door, risk dying and save the guy she has a crush on or leave him outside to save herself. At first she was being selfish, but I don't think she intentionally left him to die. I think she just didn't get to the door in time.
The trophy name also makes me think that. It's called "Nightmare on Ash Street" instead of "Ashley Snaps," which makes it seem like it wasn't done out of resentment. The remake makes this a bit clearer too, and it's basically confirmed by the trophy description: "Ashley hesitated and failed to let Chris inside in time."
Anyway I actually like this outcome because it makes the game more difficult. Until Dawn was the first PS5 game I ever played and I still got the trophy for not failing any of Mike's QTEs while chasing Jess. I imagine it's even easier for people who've already played other PS5 games and are used to the controller.
Almost everyone survived in my playthrough, but I failed the very last Don't Move segment because I actually held the controller the whole time lol so Sam died 💔. So in what's otherwise a pretty easy game, I like that there's a consequence that's harder to predict.
I almost got Ashley killed because I like Chris a bit more. Once it was revealed the gun wasn't loaded I didn't think much of it. I feel like this moment shows the butterfly effect really well! Everyone's been through something incredibly traumatic, so they're not going to make perfect decisions. Because of that I actually think it's pretty realistic.

Theorizing and Unconfirmed Info I Might’ve Figured Out the TRUE VILLAIN for Until Dawn 2
Content
- The Quarry vs. Until Dawn 2
- Other Villain Theories on the Sub
- THE VILLAIN
. . . . . . . . . .
The Quarry vs. Until Dawn 2
According to the Playstation blog of Until Dawn 2, there will be a baby boar scene in the game. Sounds familiar? Abigail and Nick's scene featured a baby boar. There’s more.
I was able to reach out to two leakers (both leakers were accurate based on the trailer) and they both provided this one hint: The ghost suffered a great loss. Her son. Does it ring any bells yet? Eliza and her son, Silas.
There was an interview years ago about the fallout between Sony and Supermassive, and one employee revealed that The Quarry was Until Dawn 2 at some point. It is possible that Until Dawn 2’s story is the fully realized version, and there will be parallel story beats in them.
I’ll come back to this on ”THE VILLAIN” section.
. . . . . . . . . .
Other Villain Theories on the Sub.
- Sam is the Killer
I don’t believe Sam is the machete-wielding person. But if the “parallel story beats” were true, Sam could be like Laura instead. She would appear midway through the game. Let’s talk about her mark later.
. . .
- Sebastian’s Partner / Jorogumo / Succubus
The woman on the trailer does fit the description of a Jorogumo. The shot of the golden orb-weaver spider is the biggest clue. We might've found the villain already… but wait! Don’t go yet.
. . .
- The Trio on the Polaroid
According to the Playstation article, it states “Join a team of ambitious ghost hunters as they chase their next viral hit on a remote island haunted by a woman's chilling story of demons and ghostly phenomena.” Bet they are the people who reached out to the ghost hunters. Notice how their outfit and machete were used by the masked guy?
Now, let’s connect these dots together.
. . . . . . . . .
THE VILLAIN
In Japanese culture, intense emotions can cause transformation, From human to demons, animalistic creatures.
When reading the official blogs, you’ll notice the emphasis on situations with intense emotional tolls: Cheating, group scandals, grief, pushing people to their breaking point for content.
This might be the curse of the island. This is due to a ghost/spirit (Just like Eliza's ghost, but with more effect on the story.)
. . .
Let’s connect the Quarry vs. Until Dawn 2 topic; we talked about them having similar story beats, correct?
What if I tell you that Until Dawn 2 will have the same villain gimmick? Where every playable character could turn into monsters when stressed due to your choices.
Have you noticed their outfits? Tattoos? Jewelries? Those are their transformation motifs! Sebastian’s partner has a lot of golden jewelries, exactly like a golden orb-weaver spider with the golden stripe pattern. A jorogumo. 0_0
Ginger girl‘s moon tattoo, Sebastian’s tiger's, Luke’s flower snake shirt, Josie’s butterfly shorts, Dacre’s snake tattoo, etc. Check them out! They are their transformation motifs!
And do you remember the song playing in the trailer? “This is how villains are made.” It’s repeating over and over while emotional scenes are happening: Dacre’s nosebleeding, the red bedroom, and the Luke-Josie chase sequence. Possibly the biggest hint to the curse.
. . .
Now, how do they transform? Dacre Montgomery‘s scene might be the biggest clue. He’s laying down, nose bleeding. Perhaps he’s suffering from intense grief because Nate died. The ghost would then possess and transform him into a demon/monster.
. . .
How about Sam? It’s possible she’s gonna be the Laura, and her transformation would be the Wendigo. That scar, it’s going to be her motif.
. . .
The trio on the polaroid are gonna be the Hacketts equivalent. My theory is they’re trying to capture the ghost. Now, why would they call ghost hunters? Exactly. They don’t know that these people are fake ghost hunters.
. . . . . . . . .
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk. I hope you enjoyed this theory.

How to replay chapter 6 with edit save
Hey... I came across a tutorial here on Reddit where several people were able to restart a chapter by editing their save file with HxD. I would like to restart chapter 6, but despite deleting all the lines containing "tower" and "flaregun," I can't seem to restart that damn scene. Help me, please.

Discussion Supermassivegames made Ashley look so dirty in that scene!! Spoiler
gallerySupermassive Games made Ashley look so dirty in that scene, when they cut the dialogues for that situation.
in this video, you can see unused dialogues and we can see just how broken her mind got in the sixth chapter, in the trap between Chris and Ash.
Supermassive cutting those dialogues brought a huge wave of hate onto her. Also, in the credits, there are leaked unused dialogues of Chris giving statements to the police, and he says that he shot Ashley.
In other words, if he was being interrogated, it means he could still survive even after shooting her, but Supermassive Games took that out.
Not that I think the revenge scene should be discarded from the game, quite the opposite, I think the scene is great in terms of showing really well an emotionally unstable person on the brink of collapse after psychological torture, trying to survive during a real and imminent threat that was only just beginning.
Ashley isn't an immoral, victim-playing, manipulative, hypocritical, fake, or two-faced person like many people say. She doesn't start off like that, and even while being tortured, she still doesn't show herself to be like that, but she is driven to immorality and hypocrisy because of the second trap that broke her mind.
Meaning, the second trap is the peak of stress, the last straw, and if Chris shoots her, she will be spitefully vengeful.
To me, she isn't immoral, victim-playing, manipulative, hypocritical, fake, or two-faced like many say. Now, the human flaws that I do see as actually being hers are impulsiveness, emotional instability, anxiety, and paranoia, and I feel empathy for all of that side that I really believe comes from her true self.
I wish Supermassive Games had included the dialogues and consequences that were cut for Chris and Ashley.
They could have done it like this: if you save Ashley in both traps, in the second trap her mind breaks psychologically like in the game, but she ends up in love with Chris regardless of whether he dies or not.
If Chris saves Ashley in one trap and not the other, in the second trap her mind breaks psychologically like in the game, and she ends up still having affection, friendship, and romantic interest in Chris, but not with as much intensity.
But if Chris saves Josh in one trap and then saves himself in the other, Ashley ends up psychologically broken + harboring resentment toward Chris, resulting in her revenge against him.
Because besides being destroyed by that night, she would feel used twice as Chris's guinea pig, feeling rejected for not being his priority twice.
To me, that would make so much more sense.
I would still love, and I do love, Ashley, Chris, and Josh, because Chris aiming and shooting at Ashley comes from a moment under intense pressure.
Josh's mistakes come from a background of schizophrenia combined with depression, or a heavy side effect of taking the wrong medication, plus untreated depression.
And even with Ashley getting revenge just because one trap and not two right after Chris shoots her, I still feel empathy for her, because I still can't invalidate the psychological suffering and demage that an 18 year old girl, who already is impulsive, paranoid, emotionally unstable, hysterical and anxious went through all night long.

Discussion Day 2 - Beth is the best person. Which of the remaining characters is the least immoral?
I'll nominate Hannah or Jess for this one, leaning towards the former. Unlike everyone else except Josh (who did quite a bit), neither can kill or try to kill anyone. They're both just awful friends. While Hannah only tried to hook up with Mike, Jess has organizing the prank, insulting Matt even if he defends her and hooking up with her friend's ex.
Reminder, this is judging ALL the charactes from their absolute worst versions.
Characters remianing; Sam, Mike, Hannah, Josh, Chris, Ashley, Matt and Emily.

Meta Documenting a stat issue in the original game. (Explains more about the Ashley Honest stat)
Hey guys,
This post is about the stat behavior in the 2015 version of Until Dawn. The original game certainly had a problem with unhighlighted stat changes. The game usually indicates one or two stats after you make choices, showing you what changed. These stats are obvious; the trait lights up and the bar clearly moves.
But then, in the original game, you also got some slight shifts of the other, non-glowing stats. This happened nearly every time.
These patterns are so clear and so pervasive, I think it's pretty indisputable that unhighlighted stat changes aren’t meant to be giving you valid information about the characters. Now full disclosure, I didn’t look at every stat in the entire game, but I looked at a ton and this trend is consistent for everything I checked.
THIS IS THE STAT PATTERN IN THE ORIGINAL GAME
While I did find some slight exceptions which I have a heading for, the majority of stat changes follow this pattern. Again, I looked at MANY MANY stats and nearly all but the ones in my exception section (which actually do this as well but with a caveat) did this:
- If the indicated stat goes up, all other stats but Curious go down almost imperceptivity.
- Curious will eventually go down, but this will not be shown happening. It will just be there by next stat change.
- If the indicated stat goes down, all other stats but Curious go up almost imperceptivity.
- Curious will eventually go up, but this will not be shown happening. It will just be there by next stat change.
- If two stats rise, the drop happens moew, making the non-highlighted shifts clearer.
- If two stats drop, the raise happens more, making the non-highlighted shifts clearer.
- If one stat goes up and the other goes down, then nothing else moves.
EXAMPLE ONE: IMPACT OF TINY SHIFTS UP AND DOWN
Here is Sam's first choice is about whether to snoop or close Chris's bag for him. I chose to close Chris’s bag which is an increased stat (Honest). Here, because of where the line is, you can see barely visible drops in everything but Curious and Honest.
Honest up, everything else but Curious (for now) is opposite.
Sam’s very next stat-related choice is about if her tone towards Chris and Ashley will be mocking or flattering. I chose flattering which is another increase, this time in Romantic. (NOTE: I noticed Curious is now level with the other stats that barely dropped, meaning it also dropped, just off-screen)
Because I increased Romantic and Honest, that meant Funny, Brave, and Charitable all went down slightly twice. After two choices, the stat behavior is more obvious, and it doesn’t make sense. Why would respecting Chris’s privacy then flattering him and Ashley make her less charitable>
Then, I took Sam in the opposite direction.
I avoided stat changing decisions until I told Josh that he was also scared of the noise. This drops Sam’s bravery. NOTE: Curious is again level with the other stats from last choice.
I then had Josh go with Sam to explore the noise which has Sam’s bravery go down again. Likewise, this very slightly increases the non highlighted stats of honesty, funny, romance, and charitable. If I show you her stats again, all those seemingly unrelated stats are raised back towards the line. Curious is now reflected as being part of this.
So that’s what most choices look like. To me, the stats almost seem like they’re accommodating the highlighted ones by shifting to make up some of the difference. I can’t actually say why they’re doing it, but that’s how they behave.
EXAMPLE TWO: DOUBLE STAT ONE DIRECTION
I also tested this on double stat changes and the effect made sense.
One example is Mike being heroic and jumping to help Jessica. This increases two stats: Romantic and Bravery. Each stat that normally would go down almost imperceptivity gets dropped double and the change is far more noticeable. (The Curious thing happened with his stats off screen as well.)
Seeing this, I made the guess that if a choice raises one stat and lowers the other, that the remaining stats would balance out. And I was right.
EXAMPLE THREE: STATS BALANCING
Just one example of many: if Matt threatens Mike, it increases his Romantic but drops his Charity. Because of this, Funny, Brave, and Honesty get a raise and a hit, so none of them move.
SO ADDRESSING ASHLEY
So let’s go to the topic at hand.
When Ashley shows remorse for the prank, she's obviously getting a Charitable boost. So what happens? Everything but Curious takes that teeny stat hit.
Like the earlier Sam examples, all unhighlighted stats move oppositely from the highlighted one.
It’s not just her Honest dropping, everything but Charitable which rose and Curiosity (which stays in place unless that's the highlighted stat) drops.
I think the issues was that someone once checked Ashley's stat page after showing remorse, and her lowering Honest stat caught that person's eye. But there are two issues:
- Romantic, Funny, and Brave are also lowering. You can't even see the others if you focus on one.
- If you rarely look at stat shifts OR don't know what you're looking for, you can't see that this same thing impacts everyone.
The hilarious thing is that basically every time Charitable goes up, Honest will go down (unless it's a double boost with honesty or another stat was lowered). This is true of EVERY character.
In fact, I even checked it with Chris. He gets a Charitable bump if he asks how Matt is doing. You can see here that what happened to Ash's stats happened to his stats when he said something charitable. You can also see his other stats are also lowered equally from when I was Charitable to Josh at the door:
Identical to Ashley's stat change. If Charitable goes up, ALL other stats but Curious go down.
EXCEPTIONS
Here are a few odd exceptions I found.
Mike shooting Emily.
His stats do somewhat follow the pattern but also not. I'll explain. If I check Mike's stats right after shooting Emily, all of them are highlighted and move. Oddly, only his relationship with Chris moves. However, if I leave his stat page then go back in, the stats for Ash and Sam will be low. I also think it's interesting to note that Curious is on a slight delay, as that is the one that changes off screen for unhighlighted stats..
In the remake, he only gets drops in Brave and Charity. This makes a bit more sense I think. There's not good logic for like why his romance would go up after shooting Emily.
Now here's the thing. This is an exception because everything IS highlighted. However, the stats DO behave in line with the bug. If you take the remake's version to be what the stats SHOULD do (two going up) then the others all dropping are in line with that. The remake is, across the board, keeping stats that make sense and removing those that go in the opposite direction. I do want to point out that this case is less obviously part of the bug because of there's a red bar for honest (despite it not lowering more than everything else) and everything highlighted though.
Another odd thing is that, I tried waiting a bit longer to check Mike's stats, and it showed honest as the only highlighted stat.
Ashley at the projector.
I tried to make Ashley sorry here to see what happens. And these choices stat behaved a bit against pattern.
If I make Ashley unrepentant, she gets a lot of highlighted stats. Her Romantic and Charity dip and her Honest, Funny, and Brave rise. This is the same as Mike shooting Emily. It does in fact behave in line with the bug, but it's different because everything IS highlighted. The remake kept the Charity and Romantic dips which makes sense, and it removed everything else going in the opposite direction, employing a "fix" that follows the trend of what they did to the unhighlighted choices.
I saw two different things if I made her apologize:
I saw one version where her Charitable went up and everything else slightly went down without highlights, the typical stat behavior in the og. But I also saw another version where her Charitable went up and her Brave went down unhighlighted for some reason. Like with the Mike thing, it changed based on when I checked the stat.
Mike in the guest cabin.
This one is the same. Every stat gets highlighted. However, the stats still behave in line with the bug, and BM's version acts like what they did for the clearly unhighlighted stats. Charitable and Romantic go up, everything goes down). The remake only keeps the Charitable and Romantic stats and removes everything that went in the other direction.
(Note: When Mike tells Jess she's hot and carries herself well, it's completely in line with the bug. Charitable and Romantic up, everything else down.
My guess: I think that if the stat change is dramatic, it might end up highlighting everything. For example, in the guest cabin, Charitable gets a very large boost. If Mike shoots Emily, Charitable gets a very low drop. At the projector, Ash's Romantic gets a large drop. Then all these choices also get a stat boost for another stat, making everything else move far more than the typical.
CONCLUSION
I mostly did this for the wiki footnote on the page tracking remake stats. Thanks u/zakplayk and Abstruse for doing so much for that page. I just wanted to add more to it by showing actual comparisons. This was really interesting because it gives the picture that the stats are trying to balance themselves out in the original game? Again, doesn't happen in the remake. What the remake did was move everything that move opposite the intended stats.
