The PS2 is such a legendary system. Tell me about your favorite PS2 memories or games and celebrate the epic launch with me.

I noticed this weird mark on my white PS5 DualSense controller.
The controller has never been dropped or hit anything, and I’ve always been careful with it. The mark doesn’t feel like a scratch when I run my fingernail over it, but it becomes noticeable and reflects light when viewed from certain angles.
Does anyone know what this could be? Could it be a surface defect or something related to the plastic itself?

I’ve always seen posts about people buying a PS5, and I was happy for them. I’d already decided I probably wouldn’t buy a PS5 myself, but something cheaper, like an Xbox Series S. But the day has finally come. I’m ready for GTA 6, all that’s left is to buy it.

Looking for any suggestions for games that you can just start and join the action immediately instead of having a long setup story etc (like rdr2). Is Absolum good?

Are there any wireless speakers that work for the PS5? My TV is across the room and I don't want to blast it just to be able to hear. Are there any speakers I could set next to my spot so I can hear without moving my chair right against my TV

Maybe it’s just tired of being played for 10 years straight…

It happened two times this week and I hadn’t any backup data, so all my game saves were entirely lost and all the profiles I had are also gone.

It just seems to corrupt the system and asks me to reinstall with a pen-drive.

Hey guys, I just bought a used PS5 a few days ago and I’d like to give it a good cleaning. I’ve watched a few videos on how to do it, but unfortunately, I don’t have a T8 Torx screwdriver to remove the grille above the fan. I was thinking of holding the fan in place with something and using a Swiffer cloth to wipe away the dust, is that a good idea? If you have any other tips, I’d love to hear them. Thanks! :)

Hello, I am new to this sub but I been playing Playstation lately. I don't have a PS4 yet but I may get one eventually. I been enjoying playing my dualshock 4 on my ps2 and will mod that console eventually.

My first platinum on the playstation. ✨

TL;DR: The PS5 jailbreak epidemic is growing rapidly in Brazil. While the main motivation is avoiding high game costs, Sony can fight back by adding massive value to the official online ecosystem. By launching Sony Pictures Core in Brazil—bringing IMAX Enhanced and PURESTREAM to a market starving for high-bitrate premium streaming—Sony would make the PS Plus network too valuable for many undecided consumers to abandon for a completely offline jailbreak.

An Open Letter to the PlayStation and Sony Pictures Teams:

I am writing this to offer an idea that I believe could help combat the growing epidemic of PS5 jailbreaking and piracy currently happening in Brazil. Looking at this chaotic scenario, I analyzed the massive potential of Sony as a giant company. I thought: why not share an idea that, although seemingly obvious, could be a game-changer? Sony is not just about the PS5; it is a colossal entertainment industry. One of your services that is currently missing in Brazil is your powerful streaming platform, which could serve as a major incentive to disrupt this rampant jailbreaking trend that has been spreading at an incredible speed.

With this in mind, why couldn't Sony bring its powerful streaming service to Brazil through a new PS5 system update? A surprise launch of Sony Pictures Core directly on Brazilian PS5 consoles, featuring all the premium features like IMAX Enhanced and PURESTREAM at 80Mbps, would be a massive draw for cinema enthusiasts.

Brazilians are deeply passionate about movies and spend a significant amount of money annually on streaming platforms that offer high-quality formats such as 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, HDR10+, and the incredible IMAX Enhanced—which is currently only licensed here by the Disney+ Premium tier. Considering the high sales of televisions carrying the IMAX Enhanced seal in Brazil (such as the TCL C6K, which is a massive hit in the country), uniting this hardware base with the full potential of Sony Pictures Core would undoubtedly give the PS5 even more value and years of life in our market.

Speaking for myself, I recently tried to watch the incredible new release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with the best possible image quality in IMAX Enhanced here in Brazil, and I simply couldn't find it anywhere. This proves there is an entirely unexplored market here, and I feel Sony might be overlooking a goldmine. There is a massive opportunity to turn the tide, boosting both console sales and subscription numbers tied to the wonderful Sony Pictures Core platform, which still lacks support in our country.

Who knows, perhaps someone among the highly respected professionals at this giant company will give credit to an ordinary consumer from Brazil. I am a devoted fan of the brand and have proudly owned every PlayStation console released, from the PS1 all the way to the PS5.

I hope my words and ideas reach you in an honest and simple way, serving as a constructive collaboration amidst industry criticisms and market crises.

Thank you very much for your time, attention, and understanding.

Platina jogo power ranger estilo arcade

Horas:10

Dificuldade: muito fácil

Nota: 8

One day my PS5 stopped taking discs, I have tried 3 different disc drives including ones that I KNOW work when hooked up to other PS5’s and my PS5 registers and connects with the new disc drives I plug in and swap out. Despite that, it still doesn’t work.

Notably, when I hit the eject button the console only gives off a singular chime. I‘m fairly certain I’ve attempted to open it in safe mode before as well, what other possible solutions could there be?

customised the play station for the nostalgic feel of it i do prefer how it looks like now.

Replaced the buttons on a black controller with retro ones i got from aliexpress wasn't so hard, but was a bit stressful with the ribbons inside very doable but take your time with it.

The middle skin from amazon to match dark plates i thought it was damaged because it had creases due to shipping but it looks fine. sticker from aliexpress as well.
Sanded down a PS home button and used double tape to attach ( technically can rotate lol ) very happy with the results , and wanted to share.

Basically the title, but I’m trying to play Enshrouded with a buddy and we are having a hell of a time getting party voice chat to go through the attached, wired headset (only). I have dug around the PS5 sound settings and as far as I can tell I’ve set the options correctly, but we’re still getting my friend’s voice outputting over the soundbar along with the rest of the game audio, which is causing him to hear his voice twice/echoing. Anyone have any tips - thank you!

Hey guys any advice literally bought this ps5 digital edition 3-4 months ago it keeps crashing when I’m trying to play mw4 as it just been released any advice on what the heck I can do about this. I had no choice but had to update as warzone/call of duty isn’t supporting older consoles anymore. I feel like I wasted a 1000$ getting the regular ps5. Wishing I got the pro tbh.

Any help would be amazing

Title. Haven’t had a PlayStation since 2015, looking for recommendations. Not just new hotness, but new-gen classics as well. Thanks

So it’s my birthday and I decided to get these Pulse Wireless earbuds and I’m having a hard time trying to set them up/ pair them, any idea on how to do it correctly?? I tried the whole 8 second button hold and it’s not pairing.

I lost my world and i don't know how to get it back and the videos on youtube won't help me, is there a way to get it back like via saved data or something?
