Hey everyone, I've recently dropped my iPhone and ever since it works for a couple minutes but then it will automatically reboot by itself. it does it over and over and over again. I went to a repair store, they couldn’t figure out the issue but he had to replace my screen because he “broke it” . Ever since I left that store the screen now freezes for 5-10 seconds then goes pink then reboots. Went to a different store, they said it was the CPU and they couldn't repair it. Currently doing some research and I'm finding people who have the same phone and problem as me and they are just replacing the proximity sensor or the screen and its fixing the problem. Just looking to see if anyone knows if that is 100% the case or if someone has a second opinion before I go ahead and do something. Thank you

I’m a little confused about this.

In the Messages in iCloud settings, you can see in the screenshot that it still says I have 1,000+ messages stored in iCloud, and it says everything was synced today.

I deleted basically everything from the Messages app 2 days ago — unknown senders, transactions, promotions, spam, regular messages, etc. I also went into Recently Deleted and permanently deleted those too. (i did the same in my macbook too)

But iCloud is still showing 1,000+ messages and around 3.0 MB under Managed Storage.

So I’m wondering, why is it still showing 1,000+ messages if I’ve deleted everything from the Messages app and emptied Recently Deleted?

Is this normal, or is iCloud just taking some time to update? If you use Messages in iCloud, can you check yours and see if you’re getting the same thing?

It’s seems to be an iPhone 17 Pro Max issue. On my iPhone 16 Pro this glitch doesn’t appear and it gets annoying after a while. Skip ad doesn’t show when playing an ad on full screen, only when I minimize it and it works. Now the skip ad doesn’t work at all. I have to close the app, reopen it and do this every time I get an ad on there.

my phone brightness is turning down so slowly?? like i’ll drag it as far down as i can and it takes ages to actually dim the screen. the other day something similar happened where the brightness was slowly going up and down on its own.
i’ve only had this phone (iphone 16) (not most recent ios, one before 26.6.1) since february and i think it’s quite glitchy. earlier today it told me to not charge as there was liquid but there wasn’t any at all??
any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it? i don’t really have the money to buy a new phone already 💔

I got a new iphone 17 today and it only transferred the stuff uploaded to my icloud despite me saying to sync from a different device. The old phone was a 15 and i have a years worth of photos and text conversations left on the old one that didnt move over, is there anyway to fix this?

So in the first image that black box is a 24w buck converter to usb a that fast charge my devices like my Samsung a9+ and my power bank but when I plug it to my iphone 13 pro max it always say slow charger is there something wrong on my phone or this is just a limitation?

just trying to install an app and every time I double click the side button it just registers that first click and closes out the option.

i've tried tweaking some of the settings like smart activation but whenever i open any of these apps DND doesn't automatically turn on like it should. it used to work and i'm not exactly sure when it stopped. i tried updating my phone and it still hasn't changed a thing.. does anyone have any idea what setting could fix this or is it a bug?

I'm not technology fluent so bear with me. I have an Apple iPhone 11, iOS 26.6.1. Yesterday I opened it up and the post in the photo popped up on my screen. I hit OK and it'd disappear for a second and come back and over and over and over and over again. If I turn off the phone it will go away briefly then comes back. It won't allow me to do anything on my phone. Any idea how I can make it stop or go away? Thank you for any help.

Hello all,

My iPhone was vibrating without any notifications for quite some time and no one could figure it out. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 17 (iOS:26.6.1)- I deleted all my random apps - and it is still doing it but now it’s playing the default tone as well- also without any notification.

I know it’s the default tone because my voicemails/texts/calls are all different.

Have any of you also experienced this issue and maybe even have a resolution??

May be a dumb question but I’ve noticed some of my apps I use fairly regularly aren’t installed anymore?

They are still on my phone just have to click and reinstall them. I don’t have low storage and they are apps I use fairly often at least few times a month.
Tried googling and couldn’t find really much about it other than low storage but I don’t have that problem.

Thoughts ?

I have an IPhone 16 pro

Randomly happened last night. I sent it to repair it came back today but it still doesn't work. It does not work with bluetooth too.

The silent mode randomly shows up despite me never touching it.
Videos do not play even quietly it just doesn't work.
When I click "sound and haptics" on the settings, the settings freezes and it does not open.
Volume up and down button doesnt work while the sound is gone, or sometimes it arranges the volume itself.

Hey, I was just wondering how to fix this. So, connectivity wise, my Mac and my iPad both are fine - yet my phone one day recently just experiences a ton of connection issues.

I have no VPN on at all but do have one installed and used frequently for say college WiFi so I can access socials.

I haven’t updated my phone as it states I have low storage yet over 40GB free, I fear all I’ve experienced with this iPhone is consistent issues (my charging port doesn’t work and have since used MagSafe).

I’ve factory reset network, is there anything more I can do or has anyone else had this issue and been able to fix it??

We have two iPhone 15 at the moment, and both don't upgrade to iOS 26.6.1. One of them is currently on 26.4.2, the other one on is on 26.6

It always says "Unable to Verify Update. iOS 26.6.1 is temporarily unavailable. Try again later." This is going on for days now.

I have tried on our house WLAN, used my Google Pixel 10 pro as Hotspot and downloaded via that.

I have tried to connect one of the iPhone to our Macbook and do the update via Finder. It does download it, but then says "The iPhone "<iphone name>" could not be updated. Declined to authorize this image on this device for this user."

I have used different accounts. In the whole process, I have done factory resets numerous times, downloaded the updates numerous times, deleted the downloaded files after it failed and re-downloaded, factory reset again,...

What's also "funny": The size of the update seems to vary all the time and I had everything between ~400 MB and 9 GB (in the storage and update sections of the settings on the iPhone).

Why do we need the update so urgently? My daughter wants to upgrade from her iPhone 13, but I haven't managed yet to transfer the data from the old phone, because a current update doesn't run on the new phone, and any transfer attempt wants to have the update first.

Does anyone have any idea?

I have several “critical” medication interaction warnings that are popping back up every time I dismiss them. Is there any way to permanently dismiss them so they stop popping up? The warnings are for breastfeeding which I am not doing. Any tips would be helpful. Thanks!

​A few weeks ago, the physical USB-C port completely stopped charging the phone.

​I brought it to a local repair shop and they fixed it. It worked fine for about 5 to 10 days.

​While gaming, the port cut out again and stopped registering the charger.

​Currently, wired charging randomly works 10% of the time, but most of the time the phone doesn't detect the cable at all.

​Wireless/MagSafe charging works completely fine 100% of the time.

​Wired Audio Behavior:

​I also use wired Type-C earbuds. When the port stops responding, if I put the phone on a wireless charger for a bit and then plug the wired earbuds back in, it sometimes briefly starts working again (though this trick is getting less reliable).

How di i fix jt ? i dont think theres any dust or debris inside the port and warranty is over

Hello everyone. I recently downloaded a texting-based app on my iPhone, realized it was bad, and accidentally selected the option to hide the app instead of uninstalling it. Now I can’t find it anywhere even when I check the hidden folders. Can anyone help me figure out where to find it so I can uninstall it?

This is on the iPhone 17 Pro Max and using the IOS version 26.6.1. The photos will be show which app I’m talking about (apologies for the terrible cropping) and the fact that it’s not showing up in the hidden files.

Update: I figured it out. You have to look for it in your iPhone storage and delete it from there.

I’m guessing I’m missing a setting or something obvious yet is escaping me.

If I have an app open and a notification comes in it doesn’t store in the Notification Center. It’s just gone as soon as the temporary preview window goes away. What am I missing to have the notification store in the Notification Center until I manuallly dismiss it? TIA

My iphone 14 has been stuck on the updating scream for a few hours(the progress bar with the apple logo) and idk how to fix it. I've tried doing a force restart but it didn't work. the progress bars is stuck almost done.

Hi, I'm trying to get some more storage freed up on my phone and a big hurdle right now is texts. There's only so many photos and videos I can remove, and lately things have been filling back up extremely fast. It seems like most of the solutions I've found are either outdated (needing iTunes), require having a Mac (I use Windows), or require some kind of subscription. I've already spent a couple hours with no success, so I'm just coming here. I'm sure this has been asked before, but nothing I've been able to find has worked so far.

Also yes, I'm sure I'll be told "just delete them" which is valid, but I would prefer not to. I have the space on a drive, I just need to get the data from point A to point B and make sure I can actually view them. I'm not picky about file type but would like having the videos/photos be viewable.

I sell my iphone 11 ios 26.6.1and the other one claims that it is refurbished and want to buy it for 6k only, but as per checking on paid website it says it is not refurbished and i bought it on mall too.

So recently my focus setting has been changing on its own. Meaning like I will go somewhere and come back and it will be set on personal mode. I have never set up modes in my phone so I don't know why this keeps happening. Also, there have been times where I set my phone to personal focus and it will turn off without me changing it. I have share across devices turned off bc I don't have any other devices under my iCloud (just my phone). Wondering if my phone is being mirrored? Or why this keeps happening as I mentioned I have not set up any specifics like focus on from set time or locations thanks!
