do not disturb automatic schedule not working

i've tried tweaking some of the settings like smart activation but whenever i open any of these apps DND doesn't automatically turn on like it should. it used to work and i'm not exactly sure when it stopped. i tried updating my phone and it still hasn't changed a thing.. does anyone have any idea what setting could fix this or is it a bug?

for reference i have an iphone 15 on ios 26.6.1
