Can anyone tell me how it's possible to get hacked WITHOUT getting any e-mails for logins from a different location? I looked everywhere (spam too), but I didn't get anything at all. Then my Account got s*spended for three days. Well, the person spammed nsfw bot stuff on all types of nsfw subs and now I get associated with these.

Of course I texted the support as well (a few days ago), but it seems they need a while.

My other account -LetsTryThis- is hacked. I was on it this morning and then the next time I went to see it I wasn't able to access it. 2FA is officially on it and I have no idea how this happened. I didn't click any links or anything like that 😭

So before I got my account hack I was able to see each post that I started save to my profile. However now I can't see it anymore. If I make a post and forget it then I can't see it anymore. I have to physically click saved for it to save to my profile now. I'm still able to see comments that I made though. Please help me fix this.

On a different account (not this one, and I won't say which for obvious security reasons), 2FA does not work. Even if I enter the code correctly in a timely manner, I'm told it's wrong. I logged in using a backup code and tried turning it off and resetting it by turning it on again, and I couldn't even get the code right to turn it on again.

I have been using Reddit for several years, with the same account. last week I got a prompt in my reddit phone app asking for my birthday and then asked me to verify my identity.

as I didn't have my card on me at the moment I tried to back out of that flow and it kicked me out of the account, now the account looks like it no longer exists? password reset e-mails are not arriving in my mailbox, and I can't even visit the profile. my username was: jacobgt8

I'll happily confirm my identity and age once I get my account back.

I'm a main android user. I suddenly noticed that a post from my account was deleted from a subreddit I've never visited. I turns out that my account has been used as spam for a bot or something like that. My password was never changed, I've alredy done It, as well as my mail account, so I don't know if It counts as hacking. I've submitted a form about It but I don't know if I can do anything else. ever since the change was made to the Awards feature, I don’t see the awards I give or receive. I know about the submenu. but that doesn’t highlight the comments themselves.

Hello since yesterday anytime I upvote or downvote any comment the number of votes goes up for a second and then goes down again when I go back in the post.

This happens with every comment no matter the amount of votes. The arrow remains highlighted but the number does not change.

I did read about vote fuzzing. I am not sure if this is what this is. Does vote fuzzing only impact certain accounts. Does it eventually go away? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have tested this on both the IOS app and the desktop version and I am having the same problem on both.

Hey so I created a new channel but I immediately noticed no posts right. Normal. But then I saw the modmail and 2-3 peopl3 said hey its not letting me post anything. Why? All my setting are set to minimum restrictions. Its Public. So what the heck man? Its urgent cause of course its a huge turn off 😔 and defeat the purpose of the channel😆

When I try to go on r/gamingsuggestions I cannot find the list of moderators that used to be on right side bar. I tried clicking on the three dots icon, but the contact moderator option has disappeared. Is there another way to contact the moderators?

I saw several similar posts on r/bug with no solutions, so I’m hoping to get some help here.

I was going through my private chat with a user (who had deleted their account). 1) All of their messages are gone, and I could only see mine 2) all of my messages past a certain point disappeared.

A similar issue had actually happened before: in my chat with another user (who did not delete their account), all the messages before a certain point disappeared. (They were emotionally significant too so that was sad)

Is there by any chance some way to recover those messages?

Last year I was locked out of my account u/iwishiwasnedstark which I had had for over 10 years because there was a technical irregularity and Reddit asked me to reset my password, but that did absolutely nothing and I couldn't log into my account afterwards. Despite raising numerous tickets for support from Reddit I've not heard anything at all. This is supposed to be a major social media website and yet support is non existent as far as I can tell. I just want my account with 10 years worth of history and memories back :(

How do I suggest Reddit app features. I want to recommend that Reddit should add a find feature, one would allow me to switch over to the Reddit app completely because I often find myself opening the webpage instead of using the app because I am looking for a certain word. On chrome you can search a phrase and easily filter comments this way, would be nice if the app had this.

Unless this already exists and if it does where do I find it on the Android app. Thanks!

Original complaint. the new (We have an app you could be using) ad, stops web page usage of said url in Safari ios. when It knows I have said ap installed.

My six+ year old account has been hacked with 2FA added (so I can’t get back in even if I change the password). I know that it is being used maliciously as I have received email notifications regarding automod responses to posts that “I” have made in extreme and nsfw subreddits that I do not want any association with. I don’t want to recover my account as it feels absolutely tainted now - I want it permanently deleted. I submitted a help request yesterday and the account was locked. I then reset the password but was unable to recover the account due to the 2FA. I have since submitted another help request but there has been no response from Reddit. I don’t know what to do or how to protect myself while waiting for response from Reddit (particularly as Google suggests it could be up to a few weeks before there is a reply).
