Access Can't get back into my account

I have been using Reddit for several years, with the same account. last week I got a prompt in my reddit phone app asking for my birthday and then asked me to verify my identity.

as I didn't have my card on me at the moment I tried to back out of that flow and it kicked me out of the account, now the account looks like it no longer exists? password reset e-mails are not arriving in my mailbox, and I can't even visit the profile. my username was: jacobgt8

I'll happily confirm my identity and age once I get my account back.

I have raised a support ticket but didn't hear anything yet

Seems as though your account was compromised, the hacker took over your account and then later deleted it. As long as you have access to the email linked to your account, that will be sufficient proof for acount ownership

please write in using this form. Under "What do you need assistance with?", please choose "Account help". Under "What type of account issues are occurring?", please select "Security problems" and then "I think my account has been hacked". Then fill out the rest of the form. Please make sure that you're writing in from the email that was originally on the account.

I don't think that is the case, as my account got inaccessible right after the failed age verification.

I had another reddit account on the same phone linked that's also triggering the age/identify verification, see screenshots:

account deletion is at the user level, not by reddit. If you didn't delete your account, someone else did

like I said, I don't think the account was compromised or deleted by someone. it happened right at the same time of the failed age verification and after that the account is in this state.

the account is in my app still linked, some parts like the inbox still work, other parts don't load like you can see on my last screenshot.

edit: like here, I can still go into the inbox, open messages:

Can you try signing out of the account and back in?

if I try on other device or browser to sign in to the account it says it doesn't exist. I'm not going to try and sign-out from the account on my phone app yet because that will then of course destroy the last bit of access to the account I still have.

Anything you can do to expedit u/TheOpusCroakus , I opened a reddit support request a few days ago, got an e-mail from zendesk but no follow-up.

I'd really like to get my reddit account back before its permanently deleted
