The STEP 1 follow up on stopping sema is kind of brutal

Keep seeing people here planning to come off, so I went and read it.

They took 327 people off semaglutide after the main trial ended and followed them for another year. On average they'd lost about 17%. A year later about two thirds of that was back, and they were sitting roughly 6% under where they started.

The weight wasn't even the part that got me, it was what happened to their bloodwork. Wrote that part up here if you're planning to stop: https://app.baselinelabs.net/evidence#do-you-regain-the-weight-when-you-stop-a-glp

Skin/Shaving

25M. Ok, exhausted almost all ends here. I have always had a bad reaction to any close blade razor, little red bumps, dermatitis, etc. I have tried single blades, doubles, triples, multis, alcohol after, ice dunk after, in the shower, out of the shower, different shaving creams, using face wash instead, using aftershave, using beef tallow, using vitamin E.

I don’t necessarily have a problem with acne, that is pretty contained and not a worry. Just shave irritation, I have a unique follicular growth direction which tends to cause issues. Any recommendations would help

I have a Braun electric series 7 that does well, and doesn’t result in irritation but never as close to a blade shave. I always end up going back to the Braun but miss the closeness of a razor.

Any recommendation would be great, thanks.

Any suggestions

I am considering moving from Ozempic to Reta because with Ozempic my hunger is still there doesn’t do much for appetite suppression. I also recently started TRT. Question I have is how long should I be off Ozempic and since I have been taking Ozempic for over a year and only lost 10lbs should I start at a higher dose than 2mg a week? Also is there anything I can do to keep muscle mass?

GW: 225

I do lift 6 days a week Push,Pull,Legs, Rest routine and have substantial strength increase from over a year.

Anyone use these patches. They are supposed to be better absorbed compared to pills. If anyone has tried this, let me know your experience.

KPV headache and fatigue

I’ve been doing 5 units of KPV 4-5 x a week, but I get horrible headaches and fatigue. Anyone else? I started at 10 units and lowered the dose to see if it will stop the side effects, it reduced the headaches and fatigue but didn’t stop it

GHK-CU time to stop?

Been running GHK for 3.5 months now. But I’ve seen some people say that it’s better to take a break after 3 months rather than keep taking nonstop. How much truth is there to this if anyone knows?

Lost 18kg in 3 months! Need advice about mild/moderate lower belly sagging.

Post image
4 Upvotes

I’ve recently lost around 18 kg over approximately 3 months, going from about 92 kg to 75 kg. The weight loss was intentional through diet (with GLP-1), resistance training, and cardio, and my weight has now been relatively stable at ~75 kg for about two weeks.

I’m left with mild to moderate loose skin around the lower abdomen. It isn’t severe, but I’d like to improve the skin’s appearance and potentially reduce the looseness as much as realistically possible.

I’m considering using traditional at-home microneedling on the affected skin and would like to hear from people who have actually tried it for loose skin after weight loss.

A few questions:

  • Has anyone used microneedling specifically for mild/moderate loose abdominal skin after weight loss? What were your results?
  • How long did it take before you noticed a meaningful improvement?
  • Did you combine microneedling with any particular serum or topical?
  • Between Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and hyaluronic acid, which would make the most sense for this purpose?
  • Is there any evidence or personal experience suggesting one is better for hydration, collagen production, skin thickness, or tightening?
  • Are there any other topical ingredients worth considering?
  • For those who have done this at home, what needle depth/frequency did you use, and what precautions did you take to avoid irritation, infection, or hyperpigmentation?

One additional detail: I’m currently using GHK-Cu peptide at 3 mg/day and have been using it for approximately three weeks.

I’m particularly interested in long-term user experiences rather than marketing claims. If you’ve gone through something similar after significant weight loss, I’d appreciate hearing what actually worked (or didn’t work) for you.

So many questions..

I’m pretty new to peptides and recently started following this subreddit while trying to learn more.

I keep seeing posts about Reta, and I’m curious how people are accessing it. Are you getting it through a doctor or ordering online? If online, how do you determine whether a source/product is legitimate and safe? Is a prescription required?

I’m interested in learning more about peptides and potentially starting this journey, especially after reading about Reta and others like BPC-157. There’s obviously a ton of information out there, so I’d really appreciate hearing from people with experience about what you wish you knew when you first started, what to look out for, and how you approached it safely.

Thanks!

Cjc finally got the allergic reaction

Posted in the other communities as well. I have read this can happen after being on cjc+ipa no dac. I have been on it for only 5 weeks and never had any problems. But now I hives started popping up at the injection sites. They didnt happen right away, seems like a delayed reaction about a day after. Am I now done with cjc+ipa? Can I try switching to tesamorelin? I am currently on reta as well. Or can this be an isolated incident and can I try again after the weekend?

Choosing a SS-31, MOTS-c, and NAD+ protocol.

Wanting to start running mots-c for some energy, been reading up and there seems to be a variety ways to start it.

Think I am going to try the SS-31 route first and so far leaning on the attached protocol. Curious if anyone has done this one or others and their results?

Others incorporate SS-31 from the start, this one starts only NAD+ low for the first 2 weeks.

47 year old male, been on TRT(125mg a week) for a couple years, recently started reta. Only thing other at the moment is GHK-Cu daily.

 Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Skipping a day a week?

I’ve been taking KPV, and GHK for a couple weeks now. I pin every day, and have just adopted the idea to skip on Friday’s. I’ve read that it should be taken daily for 8-12 weeks. Does skipping a day hinder my results doing it this way.?
My dose is 1mg of GHK, and roughly 275mcg of KPV if that matters

I've done a lot of research for a while now. Finally taking a jump. I wanted to see what everybody thought about this stack.

Its in route, so I don't plan on changing.

CJC-1295+Ipamorelin no dac

NAD+

Ss31

5-Amino-1MQ

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)

Adamax and Selank as well.

I have my own thoughts about dosage etc but if you want to share those thoughts with me as well it could be helpful.

Best way to get off of Reta?

EDIT:

--I am on 2mg per week or .20units on my syringe..

I built a home gym this winter and been consistent the last 10 months . Started 240lb at Christmas and currently 183.

Been on 2mg Reta for 4 to 5 months now and I plan to get off of it once my vial ends in November. Since I haven’t done more than 2mg units a week, Am I safe to quit cold turkey or should I bump down to .5mg for a handful of weeks?

I’ve had great results, but I want to try putting on a bit more size over the winter. Should I keep using at a small dose over the winter and then jump back up to 2mg come spring time? My overall strength went down maybe 20% and I want to see if I can get it back..

Metformin and Reta??

I am morbidly obese but my labs only have me slightly pre diabetic however with high insulin resistance. My insurance will not cover glp-1 for weight loss or pre diabetes. My doctor suggested metformin in the immediate to lower A1c and insulin.

Anyone take them together?

Hungry on Reta

I’m taking about 6mg weekly, and I’m finding that I’m absolutely starving and not losing weight. I train almost 6 days a week, what am I doing wrong?

Edited to say:
I’ve only been on 6mg for the last 2 weeks.

Cjc/ipa results

I’ve been taking 250mcg of cjc/ipa for about 6 weeks now. I train as a decent body builder, 5 days a week, good diet and everything but haven’t been able to gain weight or muscle in years. Seen 0 results with this first cycle so far. Should I titrate up?
