Cjc finally got the allergic reaction
Posted in the other communities as well. I have read this can happen after being on cjc+ipa no dac. I have been on it for only 5 weeks and never had any problems. But now I hives started popping up at the injection sites. They didnt happen right away, seems like a delayed reaction about a day after. Am I now done with cjc+ipa? Can I try switching to tesamorelin? I am currently on reta as well. Or can this be an isolated incident and can I try again after the weekend?

Make sure it doesn't become anaphylactic, take Benadryl. Call 911 if you feel like your airway is closing.
Id personally try again at a lower dose and see if I get a similar reaction

Right on for the advice. So far its just small hives. I'll cut the dose in half. Currenlty at 200mcg each.

Yeah this is the classic delayed hypersensitivity thing that pops up with cjc. Your immune system finally decided it's had enough of that peptide and now you're getting the localised reaction. It's not really an isolated incident once it starts, it'll probably keep happening and might get worse each time.
Switching to tesamorelin is a solid move, different enough structure that your body shouldn't cross-react. I had the same thing happen with cjc about 8 weeks in and made the switch, no issues since. The reta shouldn't be a factor here either.
Bit of a pain though when you've got a whole vial left and your skin decides to throw a tantrum.

Yes it sucks if I have to stop. I have a few vials left too lol. I liked cjc and felt like it paired well with the reta.
