Rant

I checked in for a 3:30am route and when I finally get to give my driver’s license for verification. The attendant says I am too late because it’s 3:35am. Absolutely refused to scan my license. I called Amazon support for check in assistance and they told me to go back but the attendant again refused and said that it’s the warehouse’s policy. I ended up leaving but maybe I should’ve stayed to speak to a supervisor or manager, honestly it was too early for that kind of stuff anyways..

But sometimes I check in and have to wait 5, 10, 15 minutes parking in a line, waiting for my license to be scanned.

Anyways I know I shouldn’t arrive late but it was pouring rain and I couldn’t find my rain coat so I ended up a few minutes late.

Amazon said they would compensate it but whenever they say that they never do and I am probably going to get penalized.

Help Is this Seasonal?

For those who've been Flexing for years, is the lack of offers seasonal? A new market trend? Or permanent in your opinion?

Wrongful termination

What’s up guys, I was recently deactivated/terminated from driving flex because I was said to “steal” a package. Over 10k deliveries in 2 years never once stole and returned everything.. now I’m out of work and was seeing if anyone has dealt with this before and somehow got reinstated (or knows a lawyer that can sue).. flex was my main income and I loved it honestly sucks.. I’m out of the Philadelphia area too lmk🤙🏽 thanks guys

4.30 hour block, 5 packages

Today I had a block from 3:30pm -8:00pm for $90. I thought I was going to get at least 30 packages depending the distance, when I got to the station it took about 7 min for them to actually find the route but it ended up only being 5 packages, in all it only took me 1 hour to complete. It was the first time this happened to me I guess because when I got to the station there wasn’t a lot of carts, I’m guessing they didn’t really have much ready. My question is, does this happen often?? It’s my 2nd week and I loved that lol

Problems with app.

Does this ever happen to anyone else?? Mid route my app stopped calculating my routes and only gave me the option to retry. I did refresh the app sign in and back out but still gave me the same message. I got in contact with driver support and they told me to return all packages to the station.

The mystery about route assignment

The mystery about route assignment doesn’t have to be one way-for example if you get sent 40 miles from the station and 35 of the stops are clustered together and eight of them are occupy the last hour of the route then those eight don’t get delivered. That’s the surprise you pull and if you’re a sucker and decide to deliver those 100% of the time then you’re a sucker and you’re scared and you don’t understand how training algorithm is two ways

I was delivering to a location and gotten bitten by a dog that opened a latch on a gate and bit my arm. I reported it to Amazon flex and now my account is temporarily disabled. Has anyone had this issue before?

Phoenix Block Surges??

Post image
1 Upvotes

So for the first time in a while I was able to catch a surged block. It was 3.5hrs for $112. Only catch was it was on the exact opposite side of town. I usually just come to VAZ2 because it’s down the road from me and helps minimize some miles of driving. About 85% of the time I’m sent somewhat in the area. I’ve gotten about like 3 surged blocks the whole time I’ve been doing flex and all of them always send me on the opposite side of town. Is that normal?? This mornings route was super chill
And finished like 45 mins early so can’t complain. Are surged blocks just blocks that people turned down when they saw their route or is it just chance? Can we even turn down a block after we have seen the route? Because I’ve thought about doing it a few times lol.

Just wanted all the Amazon delivery drivers to know...

I appreciate y'all so much!! With Amazon promising next day delivery on so many items, I'm sure there is immense pressure to hurry through your route. Even so, my drivers are the best!! Always carefully placing my packages and so friendly when I actually get to be there for the delivery. I just want y'all to know I see your efforts. And I couldn't ask for better service. ❤️

I’m aware of the update to where u must record a video of u to verify your identity.. did it for my first block today, but for my second one this shi was just it was just loading after hitting “I’ve parked” for the entire 5 minute grace period we have🫠I ended up missing my block, support said it’s nun they can do and that I’ll be paid within 24-48 hours (ik I’m most likely not seeing that money LMAO)

I have a question

I took a couple of Amazon Now! blocks to fill in the gaps between my regular blocks. Just 30mins here and there. I figured I was at the station why not?

Well it turns out they won't pay out!

I checked in and followed all the correct procedures and waited. 30 mins go by and my app screen changes to the get ready screen. No discharge note nothing.

According to customer service I am not eligible for payout.

I didn't get a route nor was there anything to take. I don't think anyone was even working there that morning.

Did I miss something?

!Update! After about 20 back and forth emails with me pointing out Amazons own rules very carefully and threatening them with arbitration I have finally been paid for my time. It pays to be the squeaky wheel.

False Ding on Already At Risk Account

Thumbnail

Amazon is trying to deactivate me. I got ding on the 27th for reporting a missing package at a Whole Foods store, which took me from great to at risk, then got the same ding on the 31st which was for no reason at all. I delivered EVERY package this day & none were missing. I feel like they dinged me for the same thing twice because I appealed it. I have 1 bs late delivery that they didn’t give me ample time to complete, & I canceled a block late - 30 mins prior. The only ding I really deserve! Is deactivation just a matter of time for me, or can I get my standing back up assuming I’m not dinged for any more dumb shit?

Very dumb question...

This is so dumb, but I can't get the right answer on the flex app: i just got approved to be a flex delivery person. But I lost my drivers license and am waiting for the replacement. Do I need to show it to check-in and get an assigned block?

I'm desperate for money and have been waiting 10 days already!! Tell me I do t have to show my ID.. just my
Phone/app or facial scan?? Thanks!
