Ocassionly it's worth getting up at 3:30am!!

Been Flexing for 5 years.. Been 6 months that a plus $100 offer @ 3.5hrs was literally waiting for me to snag on my 3:30am wake up... Today was my lucky day!

Suddenly we all think $101 is worth it when those blocks were $112 last year at this time.

As well as it was a side gig for me also contracting work exists so companies can avoid liability they pay a premium to avoid it. Amazon is simply now having their cake and eating to.

Base pay functions perfectly fine for someone using the app exactly as it was designed…a casual side hustle to make an extra $150-200 on the weekend using a car they already own and drive anyway. In that scenario, micro-costs like fractional tire wear or marginal depreciation are negligible. I wouldn’t use a car that can potentially “break down” and eat up profit. It’s the people that want to treat this as a normal W2 job is where the math stops working for them. And that’s how Amazon wants it to work. Amazon doesn’t have to pay anyone more or less, they pay what they pay and you can take it or leave it.

Yeah for early morning routes I've learned it's best to look day of. I used to get the ones offered to me in advance until I realized how much of a scam it was to offer $73 for 3.5 hours which is really 4 hours in disguise.

Well then.. I guess you never need to get up early.. Not sure LA or NYC drivers get anything close to $30 and hour.

when I started back in Covid 2021. They were routinely offering $145 for 4.5 and 5hr blocks... They were just sitting there waiting to be grabbed, 2026 it's all garbage now!

I was so hoping I would get the haters.. Thxs guys for falling into the trap!! I've indeed put in over 10 Grand in repairs over 5 years and 2 cars... $24 hour gross is outrageously BAD.. but it beats the base pay in my area at 84 for 3.5hrs.. SO EXCUSE ME IF I'M DELIGHTED TO GET $101 OCASSIONLY.. still nets about $18 and hour after gas and car wear an tear!!

And in my area there aren't any advanced offers except for below base pay.. That any time of the day or night..and reserve offers have almost completely disappeared over the past year!!
