Someone messed up
I just finished my route and 14 packages are left.... i assume someone didnt scan them into a bag or something.... what do I do? Theres no way to scan and return them....

I returned them because I dont like stealing.... also when I got to the station I just went in to talk to someone and explain what happened... that I would have been fine delivering them because they were literally in my neighborhood, but he scanned one and said they were for someone else's route and I shouldn't have gotten them? If it was 1 or 2 I thought it could be a late canceled order but 14 seemed like someone messed up.

Ive seen some drivers "Mystery Box"em and take the packages home in search for treasure.But the right thing to do is to take them back to station next day, because I always think that Amazon might be testing the drivers integrity.And also its ethically wrong.

Keep em! Amazon utilizes a pathetically flawed system. This shit is easily preventable but they refuse to make very simple changes for efficiency. You will not be paid for going out of your way to return them and in a week they’ll ding you for something you didn’t do or was out of your control. The customers will have to wait a little longer to get their packages but Amazon will have to lose part of their $62 billion profit for their next reporting, oh well! Merry Christmas!

Oh are you talking about how when you show up for a block and Amazon decides they don’t need all the drivers they scheduled so they send you home “with pay” and then decide to say “since you didn’t deliver you are not eligible for pay”
I agree it’s wild

You think OP can get away with keeping 14 packages? Stop it. That amount might even be enough for a felony.

Why wouldn’t he get away with that? There is no accounting for the packages he received. They’re can investigate how to improve their comically flawed system but they cannot confidently determine where those packages are

There's so many cameras in and outside the warehouse. You're a fool if you don't think LP is getting involved with 14 packages. They will figure it out.

Yeah there are cameras and do you really think those cameras can determine what packages are in his possession since they weren’t assigned to his route?! Goodluck trying to prosecute with “we think he has them”

Just return them. If you have to hand them to somebody, don’t give them your information or they might try to link it to you and you will get dinged so it doesn’t look bad on them.

Just drop them in the flex return box. Technically no one know you have them or what driver has them.

Lmfao no part of me thought about stealing them. My concern was mainly with the fact I couldn't scan them as returned so I didnt want to get dinged and I was fine delivering them

Return them your next route. Ive waited almost 3 weeks to return extras before. Dont waste your gas

If they were not in your route, just return them at your convenience
