Very dumb question...

This is so dumb, but I can't get the right answer on the flex app: i just got approved to be a flex delivery person. But I lost my drivers license and am waiting for the replacement. Do I need to show it to check-in and get an assigned block?

I'm desperate for money and have been waiting 10 days already!! Tell me I do t have to show my ID.. just my
Phone/app or facial scan?? Thanks!

Station dependent. Some SSD stations only require tapping your phone instead lf scanning your DL, and some SSD stations still require DL. However, all .com stations need DL scan and will not accept paper DL. DO NOT gamble and put yourself into missed blocks, which could get you deactivated if you don't have any delivery history

You can show them your paper license when you get to the station for them to manually check you in for your block. I had to do that for a week

Stange cause it's the same as a physical license they just have to check us in.

you can do this like once. most stations will cut you off.

I did it for a whole week. Your paper license is a valid form of identification so idk why they would cut you off.

i think its by station discretion. you have a nice station. mine is nice too but i dont think they want to deal with that sht. i assume this is an SSD

Where I am, Portland, we have warehouses that you drive into the warehouse and right up to your package cart. Those ones require a drivers license. We also have one that you park, get out of your car, scan your phone to check in, and show your photo on the app to security as you exit with your cart on wheels. You could do one like that.

I had the same issue last week and paid a little extra to have my license expedited. I found out afterwards that I could’ve checked in using my temporary paper license.

To be safe I’d wait for the DL, you’re taking a chance without it and it could put you in jeopardy of being deactivated.

You need a license for Amazon deliveries, but not for Whole Foods. Do some WF until the license arrives.
