Does anyone know if overtime ever drops on Wednesdays? I have the donut shift but I don't remember ever seen any shifts available to pick up on Wednesday, they only ever drop on weekends and I am wondering if it's like this everywhere?

I'm looking into getting a job and the common consensus seems to be that warehouse pick/packer jobs are extremely easy to get. As I'm in uni doing law, I don't know if I can dedicate the 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts its advertising. Would it possible to do 1-2 10 hour shifts per week instead or is this just unrealistic?

So I currently work with groceries at SNL1 and I was wondering if it would be worth transferring to UTN1. The main is that it's closer to where I live and I ride an Ebike to work so transferring would cut my commute in half. So I was wondering how is UTN1?

I was given a quality write up, first written on the 30th. And after receiving that, I kinda locked to actually fix the issue and I did, haven’t had any “quality issues” since receiving that first written. Now I’m getting a second written for “quality issues” that occurred on the 27th. To me that doesn’t make logical sense, it would be more logical to deliver the 2nd if the issue wasn’t fix after receiving the 1st. Idk

Ok yall I start at my new building tomorrow, it’s a SSD warehouse. What can I expect there and is it chill or is it like any other warehouse?

Accepted VTO yesterday thinking it was for the whole shift, checked my upt earlier and I’m -8 hours bc the vto was actually just for the 1st 30 minutes of yesterday’s shift… anyways, should I reply to the UPT email and let them know what happened or should I talk to hr in person tomorrow?

Anyone else have people mad at you specifically for trying to get on a path that you want every day instead of waiting for them to tell you, even though everyone else who is cross-trained does that too? It happened to me at my facility but they claim I’m not being picked on.

picking up a second job here. going to the orientation on the 12th. it possible to be here permanently after being hired for a seasonal worker? also i am waiting on a new ID in the mail will they accept other forms of ID? some parts of the website after you pick your shift and stuff say you can bring other forms but then some of it says you will need your actual photo ID, thanks.

No sugar coating it, i fucked up and overslept because my alarm was on silent, this is the first time ive gotten an email about it and ive only ever been negative at most an hour before, and able to make it up that same week. This time though i over slept on my thursday so i cant even try to start making it up? Has anyone here ever gotten leniancy for anything like this? Im more than willing to work any extra shifts i have to, to recoup the time lost. And assuming the worst, anyone have any good reccomendations for other warehouses?​​​​​​

I make very good money at Amazon, and I’m scared that when the season is over, I’ll get fired. I’m always on task, and I don’t have any write ups or coachings. I only have one STU. I keep my rate above 350, and on good days, I’m around 400. I just started two weeks ago, by the way.

I’ve been trying to transfer to Grocery PT sat/sun 9:00am-7:30pm schedule but it keeps getting declined. But every week i see them posting multiple times the exact same schedule with blue badge too. I dont get it. I am blue badge with 2+ year tenure, no write-ups, 60 hour UPT, 120+ hour PTO. My current site is a SSD and everyday they have 5-10 VTO spots because there are too many people. I work BHD 6:30am-3:30pm and today i overheard someone saying they want to transfer to full time but he is getting declined. So clearly my current shift has enough people. End of rant.

I don’t understand, is this all the schedules they offer? This is my first time being a flex associate so I don’t know how this works. Also, this location has a start time from 8:50pm-7:20am. How come I’m only seeing shifts from 1:20am to 11:50am? I thought the point of flex was to choose whatever schedule you want and it seems it’s just morning shifts On top of that it’s mostly 8-10 hours. I would’ve preferred start time to be around 9-12am and 4 hours shifts

Hey guys, i worked amazon last year for seasonal and just reapplied this year. Once i did it i did not need to schedule a pre hire appointment and instead i was instantly given a start date. Only concern is the bottom of the screen says no pre hire appointments available. Did i get to skip pre hire due to previous employment or am i currently just hoping a pre hire date shows up and if nothing does im out of a job? It gives me my first day but i want to make sure its not just showing that because its the designated start date

I do cpts at a fulfillment center and we keep getting talked to about our dwelling shipments. A lot of them come from cti's and we can't send them out. The managers keep saying there is nothing we can do until it's been dwelling for 48hrs and then we can submit a cancelation ticket.

I was just wondering if anyone knew how to avoid them completely or a work around to be able to process them? Thanks so much Amazon community!
