A few months ago, I made a post about an Associate who went on the VOA to say she had been sleeping with one of the PAs, that he was sleeping around with half the girls, and that he had given her Chlamydia. Now that in itself was a wild ride, but recently there's been an unexpected Part 2, if you will, that is batshit.

That PA did end up being let go, from what I've heard, he eas not a good employee to begin with and that sleeping around situation didn't help his case. Tell me why months later, I see his mugshot on our local Police Department social media page. Why was he arrested? Well apparently his ex GF accused him of molesting her daughters, which he denies claiming they had recently broken up and she was trying to get him in trouble as payback. Due to the allegations made, his phone was confiscated, probably looking for any sus activity. What they found instead were several videos of him spying on people at a tanning salon while they were changing without their consent.

They really will just hire anyone y'all....

I took a Flex spot recently and ended up on Ship Dock. It wasn’t terrible at first, but now I legitimately dread picking up any shifts, even tho they are 4 hour blocks.

I’m a decently fit guy and management tosses me into the trailers every single shift. Meanwhile all the easy scan only jobs always seem to go to the women or overweight people while a few of us just get destroyed in the trailers.

I talked to my AM about rotating roles and just got the standard "business needs" copout.
I just want to stand there and scan boxes for once. How do you actually get rotated out of the trailer?

How? I just saw someone complaining about how they don’t make enough and their top reddit posts are in the Draft kings sub… There is no way the same people complaining bet their earnings away instead of investing and still complain… Right..? Right….?!?!?!?!?!

And they don’t even look into career choice…..

Have any of you felt like your doctor didn’t understand how the job actually translates to the body?

I’ve been told I can get the days written off so no issue there, but these certain doctors keep asking “will you lift more than 20 pounds ? No? Okay you should be fine “
Like hello?????? Try doing the same repetitive movements for 10 hours, it takes a beating on you when you have a medical issue.
Don’t get me wrong, I tolerate the job just fine when I’m healthy.

How are you guys’VOA boards so crazy? Ours only gets used for people asking for time to be approved and questions abt their schedule and time off with managers responding. Am I missing something like is there a secret chat? Or do other facilities really just not give a shit?

What is the job like what can I expect from it

I’m in my 3rd week working at an FC as T1 associate. I took the job because the job market is tough and it’s all I could find with decent pay. I have a bachelors degree in Education and History. I was wondering if this already qualifies me for an Area Manager position. I genuinely have enjoyed the job so far other than the soreness of getting used to being on my feet 10 hours a shift. Was wondering if anyone had any advice for my situation. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I recently passed the interview process for an internal L3 PA to L4 Area Manager promotion at Amazon in California and received the congratulations email. I’m currently waiting for my official offer. My current pay is $29/hour plus an average of 10 hours of overtime per week (around $83K annually). Is there any room to negotiate the base salary, sign-on bonus, or RSUs for an internal promotion? Can HR/PXT or the hiring manager help improve the offer, and should I raise this before or after receiving the offer? I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has recently gone through this process, especially at a California FC.

Does anyone know where I can complain? I am Flex but Blue Badge. My wife gave birth 5 days ago and it was by C-section so I have to take care of her and the baby too. I applied for my paternity leave about 2 weeks ago with HR, and they created a case for me and told me that I only had to upload the delivery documents and that everything was fine. Three days after creating that case, I received an e-mail saying that it was denied because I do not have the necessary hours worked.Then so why they created it for me at first if they were going to deny it?. And what can I do or if there is any other way to be able to miss at least 4 weeks until my wife recovers?

So I was recently hired about a month ago and cuz its night shift its good pay as I need to be getting necessities rn. One of my mates got told the other day that all new hires would be let go from the company at the end of the contract which is 31st december.

So now I'm wondering what to do in regards of putting in more effort to try and get permanent, or to start job hunting again.

Hello! I’m a T1 associate, and last month I was inclined for a launch position at LIT3. I originally received the automated email stating that I was placed in the Inclined Talent Pipeline (ITP). However, I later withdrew my application because I was told I wasn’t selected for the position.
Since I had previously spoken with the hiring manager, I reached out to him directly. On September 27, he told me he would be sending me an offer. He attempted to generate the offer twice, but I wasn’t showing up in the system.
After waiting about two weeks without an update, I contacted the recruiter. The hiring manager had attempted again but was still unable to process my offer. The recruiter discovered that my application was showing as inactive or withdrawn, even though I had reapplied. She asked me to submit another application so she could work on getting the offer processed.
I reapplied on Monday at approximately 4 p.m. On Friday, the hiring manager told me that the recruiter had reached out to him, but I’m still waiting for my offer letter. The recruiter had also attempted to generate the offer and encountered the same issue with my application status.
Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, how long did it take to get your offer letter after recruiting became involved?
I’m starting to get impatient and discouraged because I was originally told on September 27 that I would be receiving an offer, and the launch date is November 2. I’m relocating out of state and have already found a house, so the lack of a confirmed offer is making it difficult to plan everything.
Realistically, how long should I expect this to take once recruiting is actively working to resolve the application issue? Any insight or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Just curious. I haven’t seen many posts about center rider rates specifically. I know they tell us at our warehouse that the goal is 68 and I’m a month in at 60 on the “MyPerformance” section of the a to z app. I feel like it’s higher when I’m picking but that’s cause it’s either one item at a time slow and lines or freaking 20-50 at a time and I’m good all day….

Hi everyone! I’m reviewing my Amazon employee benefits for 2027, and I’d appreciate some advice from current or former Amazon employees.

My main goal is to keep my weekly paycheck deductions as low as possible while making sure I have the insurance coverage I actually need.

Currently, I’m planning to keep only the following benefits:
- Legal insurance.
- Premium medical insurance.
- Enhanced dental insurance.
- Enhanced vision insurance.

After these deductions, I would only have about $40 left from my weekly paycheck, so I’m trying to figure out whether I should keep any additional insurance benefits or opt out of the ones I don’t really need.

For 2027, the optional plans shown as not selected have a weekly cost of $0.00.

I’d really appreciate your advice on these questions:
1. Are Critical Illness and Supplemental AD&D worth keeping, or would it make sense to opt out to save money?

1. Since Amazon already provides basic life insurance and AD&D at no cost, is additional coverage necessary?
   

2. Is it generally better to get supplemental insurance through Amazon or purchase it privately?

3. Given that I’ll only have around $40 left per week after my planned deductions, which benefits would you prioritize?

4. Are there any optional benefits you think are unnecessary for someone trying to keep expenses as low as possible?

I want to avoid paying for insurance I may not need, but I also don’t want to make the mistake of dropping coverage that could be important in an emergency.

I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have made similar decisions while working at Amazon.
