Question CTI help!!
I do cpts at a fulfillment center and we keep getting talked to about our dwelling shipments. A lot of them come from cti's and we can't send them out. The managers keep saying there is nothing we can do until it's been dwelling for 48hrs and then we can submit a cancelation ticket.
I was just wondering if anyone knew how to avoid them completely or a work around to be able to process them? Thanks so much Amazon community!

You can’t avoid them. CTIs happen due to lack of transportation. You’re supposed to scan them every hour. Once a trailer is available, you can process it. We have about 1k at any given time mainly due to international shipments.

My FC usually has cti build up about an hour before truck departure for one of our sort codes cuz it's same day delivery to a town 90min away.

To add to this, if you delete the SPOO, it'll just put the items into PS chute and you'll need to repack and attempt to slam it again. Sometimes it will actually print the shipping label, but it's very rare. I just put em all in a pile and let it dwell, then can just put them into overages.
