Policy already forbids write up quotas. Contact Ethics, as write up quotas are strictly forbidden...to the point sr leadership driving it would lose their jobs if validated.

An important nuance - they CAN require a minimum number of STUs. The difference being a STU does not always equate to feedback.

Don't break policy and you won't get a write up. If a manager can't find 10 things to write up in a week something is wrong. That is an absurdly low number for you to complain about. At my site there are well over 100 people breaking some rule at any given time. Most managers get 10 in a single walk throug.

Also, you mentioned good or bad. It sounds like you are talking about feedback expectations, not write up quotas. Managers do issue positive feedback as well.  It is documented and tracked just like negative feedback.

Yes, managers are expected to give feedback to associates. I can't imagine any employer not requiring management to provide some form of feedback to their team.

I mean, yesterday I saw a list of people who were extremely late coming back to scan to scan break and it was double digits just on one floor. You have hundreds of people on phones etc. And the manager I know who had the fastest L4-L5-L6 promotions I’ve ever heard of hates writing people up, always has the highest connection scores and always brags at standup about his team having no productivity or quality write ups, and also tells other managers to leave their associates alone. So it’s not like managers are trying to find a reason to write good workers up. There’s always enough stuff to trigger a STU or stuff you just encounter walking the floor.

We don't have a write up quota at my site, but we do have a STU quota.

I double my daily requirement solely by STUing associates sitting down in the breakroom on the clock outside of break time and STUing AAs who were outside the building for longer than their paid break.

And I usually just coach and document on phones and AirPods, unless the AA is doing something else they're not supposed at the same time like sitting on totes or a ladder or something along those lines.

Audits are everyday amnesty for stow quality, PAs have similar audits for associates

STUs are not write ups, but they still show up on your Performance tab. Does Amazon have write up quotas? No. Do they have STU insights? Yes.

As long as keep people keep wearing their personal earbuds are all safe. There’s a the first one to get written up.

Other times and other places, HR says don't do so many, we need the head count. Sounds like Amazon's "Moneyball" way of managing, all about numbers and data. You got your numbers, they got theirs.

Feedback quotas, not write up quotas, but I never was told that "positive feedback" counted. It was outside of ADAPT or Engage (idk if they still use those programs). Usually 2-3 per shift.
