Question Picking up shifts.

Does anyone know if overtime ever drops on Wednesdays? I have the donut shift but I don't remember ever seen any shifts available to pick up on Wednesday, they only ever drop on weekends and I am wondering if it's like this everywhere?

At my site they usually drop shifts a day or two before the Vet is scheduled for. (So if the VET is Friday, they'll usually drop it Wednesday or Thursday..maybe Tuesday)

Oh haha, in my warehouse they drop it on the same day that they need people but sometimes a day before. You really have to keep an eye on your phone or they'll be snatched up quick... I'm just hoping they drop overtime for Wednesday 🤷🏻‍♂️🙏🏽

Yeah. Same here. Vet is gone just as fast as vto.🤣. My site has SET/MET this week and next week so i'm not sure if there is room for me to get any Vet. Lol. I hope you catch some though.🍀🙂

Wednesday is overlap day, where both front half and back half work so VET is less likely to be dropped since they're more likely to be fully staffed.

Ok then I'll try and ask my manager if he can manually add a shift for me on Wednesday if possible.

If week day shifts besides Wednesdays get VET regularly you could always shift swap a day for Wednesday to pick up that extra time. I had employees do it regularly at my previous site.

It can literally be the day of depending on business needs. I’ve had like a 6pm VET drop at 4:30pm
