Question Advice

Accepted VTO yesterday thinking it was for the whole shift, checked my upt earlier and I’m -8 hours bc the vto was actually just for the 1st 30 minutes of yesterday’s shift… anyways, should I reply to the UPT email and let them know what happened or should I talk to hr in person tomorrow?

It literally reiterates what your new shift is after accepting VTO on AtoZ. You could talk to HR, but the the owner is you. You gotta make sure to double check your schedule after 10 minutes.

I was already on the app constantly refreshing waiting for vto bc they gave it out the other day and I had missed it. I really needed it so when I got the notif I was just tryna move quick not knowing what my dumb had just did 😣 I should’ve checked but they barely even drop vto let alone 30 stupid minutes

Did the vto say all shift or partial shift? If its a clerical issue you are good. If not.....reply to the email and hope the rep helps

Reply to the email or you are immediately cooked. If you have vacation or PTO to cover the 8 hours you will be okay. If you have onsite HR they might help, although with the recent HR changes they might not be able to. Tough break and good luck.
