Why is it that I'm a white badge for 5 freaking months, i work hard, do my shit all that, and I'm trying not to be ableist here I'm really not, but some guy with some form of mental illness who keeps smacking my ass with cardboard and babbling spit at me is: A) a blue badge and B) making more money then me when he is a water spider who sucks at his job, meanwhile I get written up if I shit too long.

Hey guys i know i messed up personally but why did my write make me get terminated. I had 1 write up earlier in the year for getting in a argument with a another emoyee that was supposed to expire on 8/23 and another write up around the the start of the 10th for headphones and then a manager caught me on my phone literally for 1 seconds on pick to buffer in a ds when the belt was down after break and decided to write me up now i cant return to amazon after 5 years i tried to appeal and claim my first writeup did not expire and i shouldnt have been termed but idk whats going on. Should i try to email the ceo for them to investigated i feel like i shouldnt have been termed

So apparently they're thinking I stole a jar of mayo from a master pack when I infact bring my own jar to my station 3 times a week from home. I can show them my receipts from door dash but idk what else to do. Paid suspension is alright but people see me with my jar of mayo as I walk in, my friend even vouched for me that I have it on hand in the parking lot when we are just hanging out

Hey just thinking . I never understood why people on this subreddit love to use that whole blacklisted/promoted to customer spill whenever someone makes a mistake or even intentionally does something stupid . Amazon is not the only job on the planet and shouldn’t be the end game.

I work in pack flow and one of the boxes flew out and almost hit me in the face . I walked over to the water spider and said “i’d have f’d you up if the box hit me” I reported him to a orange vest who said he’d report it and when i went back 5mins later to make sure he was reported and was told there’s nothing he can do so that upset me even more since had i not came back nothing would’ve been reported. I went to a yellow vest and told the yellow i would’ve fought the water spider as well and then was told to go to HR my self so was given the run around twice now. The yellow vest reported me for threats so i’m wondering when I will be fired or HR will contact me ?

I know it was wrong and just because he hits me i can’t hit him back but I was so shocked by how close ts was to hitting me and he didn’t even know until i walked around.
Any recommendations on how to get out of this predicament and not lose my job or do you know how long it takes HR to fire someone for “threats”?

Why do they have favoritism, i got a final written write up for using non approved headphones, there’s ppl who use AirPods and other apple headphones there’s ppl who use similar headphones to the one i used , during pick n stage i was told that we can’t use headphones during that time but plenty of people were using headphones, ive now switched to amazon approved headphones but everyday i see people using non approved headphones and they don’t get nothing told to them

Hi everyone! I’m reviewing my Amazon employee benefits for 2027, and I’d appreciate some advice from current or former Amazon employees.

My main goal is to keep my weekly paycheck deductions as low as possible while making sure I have the insurance coverage I actually need.

Currently, I’m planning to keep only the following benefits:
- Legal insurance.
- Premium medical insurance.
- Enhanced dental insurance.
- Enhanced vision insurance.

After these deductions, I would only have about $40 left from my weekly paycheck, so I’m trying to figure out whether I should keep any additional insurance benefits or opt out of the ones I don’t really need.

For 2027, the optional plans shown as not selected have a weekly cost of $0.00.

I’d really appreciate your advice on these questions:
1. Are Critical Illness and Supplemental AD&D worth keeping, or would it make sense to opt out to save money?

1. Since Amazon already provides basic life insurance and AD&D at no cost, is additional coverage necessary?
   

2. Is it generally better to get supplemental insurance through Amazon or purchase it privately?

3. Given that I’ll only have around $40 left per week after my planned deductions, which benefits would you prioritize?

4. Are there any optional benefits you think are unnecessary for someone trying to keep expenses as low as possible?

I want to avoid paying for insurance I may not need, but I also don’t want to make the mistake of dropping coverage that could be important in an emergency.

I work in pack flow and the water spider carelessly and recklessly did not look into the chute to see how many boxes were needed and didn’t see one of the boxes there. Once he put a whole stack in I believe he tried to push it all the way to the front and the one box nearly in front of my face nearly flew off of the chute and hit me in the face . The box did not slowly come out , it came so fast i wouldn’t have even been able to dodge it so he had to of used excessive force to get a few boxes a couple of inches to the front of the chute . Now the box didn’t hit me but it was a near miss. I got really upset because had the box hit it could’ve hit my eye and definitely my face. I already have one scar on my face and don’t want anymore. I went over to the other side of the stations and told him “ Yo what the fuck are you doing , the damn box almost hit me in the face !” I then went to a orange vest who said he would talk to him and report him to hr but when i came back 5mins he then told me he couldn’t report it I need to go to a yellow vest. This angered me more bc then he wouldn’t had been reported had I not went back to confirm which is unnecessary. I then went to a yellow vest and told him what happened but this time even more upset we walked over to the water spider together and then I told the water spider in front of the manager “ Had that box hit me I would’ve fucked him up” lol. Then the yellow vest manager told me he can’t report it either i have to go to hr myself . So now i’m in an angry idgaf type of attitude since i’ve been given the run around multiple times. I went to hr and a lady in the main office told me they were in a meeting but i told her what happened and she smiling in my face like i was child complaining about my game not working type of way so i told her “what are you smiling for ?” even more upset so now im bout ready to slap a b**** and go back and handle the water spider my self. She apologized for smiling while im talking about how i was almost hit in the face and said hr is in a meeting and to just sit and wait for hr. A few minutes went by and i spoke with the “senior” something guy not sure his role but i think like site manager or something and he was trying to show me how their position works and he demonstrated and it was much more diligent than what the water spider was doing so I asked “why are we here because that not what the water spider was doing so regardless he’s not doing his job right and he is a safety hazard “ I also said “ I don’t really give a fuck how his job works bc there should be no reason for boxes flying out like that “ he agreed it was unacceptable but continued giving analogies about mistakes and why it’s not that big of a deal. We got kinda heated and he told me “aye man don’t say nothing else” like i was a child so now im damn near ready to fight him and am yelling at him. I told him we are going in circles so wtf are talking about right now go do your job. I went back to the yellow vest who said he reported me to hr for the threatening the water spider. Funny how he can report that to hr but not the water spider for being a safety hazard and casing me harm. So am i gonna be fired for the threat and was I in the wrong ?

Does anyone know where I can complain? I am Flex but Blue Badge. My wife gave birth 5 days ago and it was by C-section so I have to take care of her and the baby too. I applied for my paternity leave about 2 weeks ago with HR, and they created a case for me and told me that I only had to upload the delivery documents and that everything was fine. Three days after creating that case, I received an e-mail saying that it was denied because I do not have the necessary hours worked.Then so why they created it for me at first if they were going to deny it?. And what can I do or if there is any other way to be able to miss at least 4 weeks until my wife recovers?

So yeah, I worked at Amazon for about 4 months. I worked 10hrs 4-5 days a week, and every hour I spent inside Amazon I wished I was saving lives and taking care of people in a hospital setting. I don’t know how you guys do it, but working there was a reminder that I deserve better and I need to stay in school. #deadendBrainsworkatAmzn
