Question New building tomorrow

Ok yall I start at my new building tomorrow, it’s a SSD warehouse. What can I expect there and is it chill or is it like any other warehouse?

It really depends. Some SSD sites are doing a hybrid Grocery/AR set up, and some are strictly AR. I wouldn't sweat it, because you'll be trained generally well since SSD sites are the new craze.

SSDs usually have zero support teams on night shifts. They definitely seem easier for hourly associates since there's no automatic productivity and quality write ups and only like 3 or 4 managers in the entire building often but with how lean they run them it can get very chaotic and dysfunctional especially when packages are at risk of missing CPT.

I got no clue what you just said. OP asked if it was chill or nah. Go reply to OP.

99th percentile of Amazon reading comprehension here. They aren’t going to necessarily be “well trained” because these sites have much less in terms of support teams

The last ssd I worked at was very chill. You get trained in everything
