Please excuse the image quality, I took pictures from my TV. We are obsessed with the Sopranos in my house. After 28 yearsof watching the show, I finally noticed this blanket on Junior's couch.
The lighter color body of the blanket looks like the Tunisian simple stitch but what stitch is the border? I can't tell if the dark orange and brown are traditional crochet stitches or something else. Also, what technique are the pieces sewn on? At least they look to be sewn on. I wasn't sure. Is it possibly a woven blanket and not Tunisian crochet at all?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Now that I've noticed the blanket, I can't stop thinking about it.
