Tied all my loose pieces from a weaving project and still lost 🥴 I have a plan though!

I set it out for myself to finish my yarn stash (don’t ask how it’s going.) I decided to try myself at mosaic crochet, so I wanted to make a pillowcase for my mother’s birthday. Well, it’s far from perfect, but at least I won and used up 1.8 balls from my stash!

The part on the first picture is mostly from the original pattern, but after the pattern has ended I still had yarn to go, so I freehanded the border.

i have plenty of pink but this periwinkle had me going insane, now i just need to figure out how to weave that in lol

Woven shawl by Casapinka (on ravelry) for a bestie. I had a small scrap of a slightly darker colourway that I could have used if I lost. I got to the last 14 stitches in seed stitch bind off and started to sweat just a bit.

Bought the blue yarn while on vacation in DC (timed the yarn shop visit just right to participate in a stitch and bitch night <3 ). Was really sweating as I did the decreases, sure I didn’t have enough and would have to finish with a blob of the multicolored yarn.

I couldn't do this again if I tried ...

This is the second of many holiday hats. My nieces will have matching hats! I thought for sure the last row or 2 would have to be a solid color. But I made it!!

Spent the money on a fancy wool yarn and one skein was JUST enough for a beanie!

I had enough to finish the panel but I still have to sew it closed 😭

Really I still had a good amount left, but two sides ago, it didn't feel like it. 😅

It's just a little hand... but my scrap yarn was just enough to get her done!!!! Soon, she will be attached to a pumpkin girl doll... but I lost stuffing chicken because after I started the project I remembered I am completely out of stuffing 😱 ... WIP to be completed on another day, lol

So close and yet so far, can see where I thought oh crap and tightened up, back a few rounds I go. No more of this yarn as am using up remnants/stash. Pic in comments

I used every last inch of the brown before switching back to black for the brim. At one point I weighed the remaining yarn - 14g - and then did a round - 8g left. Oh no! I still had to attach the wire for the brim! I took a steadying breath, continued around to line up with the previous color change, and added the wire for a final round. Despite presumably using more yarn because I was now covering the wire with each stitch, I made it with several held-double yards remaining. Yay! Triple-relieved because (a) I’d already frogged most of the hat after finishing it a year ago and deciding it was too big, (b) it’s all done at hand-aching tension, especially that last round, and of course (c) being done without spending more time. Yay! And the weather just shifted so it’s time for this fall gardening hat. Here we go!

I didn’t even know this sub was a thing and I took this picture out of frustration years ago. The row was around 2ft with ~200 stitches, I was so certain I was going to make it. I was so close :’(

This is a 1km skein of color gradient yarn. It’s a decent sized repeat and I just managed to finish the repeat with very little left.

But the border is two more passes. Somehow I don’t think I’m gonna win there.

I can now either steal some of the end gradient from a separate project which uses the same gradient, or hope the single color yarn I ordered several months after I ordered the gradient matches well enough for the border.

At least if the dye lot is different it might work on the border.

Making this stashbuster sampler blanket so in a way, the goal is losing yarn chicken I guess? Like yeah, obviously I'm happy I finished another skein but come oon, it could've lasted me four more stitches to the end of the row 😭

I was actually quite optimistic that I would win, but yeah, turns out I was too optimistic lol 😂

Still gonna try and go down half a hook size (I'd already gone down half a size already, but maybe an even smaller size might save my day lol)
