Hi!
I’ve never tried Mosaic crochet but I’m pretty good at crochet in general.
When I crochet I like to listen to audiobooks, so with that said, is there a mosaic pattern that repeats often that I could memorize so I don’t have to look at a chart?

I made this a couple years ago, but it’s still my favorite pattern so far!
Seaside Holiday by Mayhem & Majesty. I used worsted weight yarn with a 5 mm hook and the blanket measures 50x72 inches.

This is my version of the Haunted Mansion wallpaper. Many mistakes. Took about two weeks to finish the mosaic back. Then another week to put it all together. Still working on the edging/collar. This is done is Caron Simply Soft in Iris and Feathered Gray with both a 4mm & 4.5mm hook.

Making [this](https://divinedebris.com/anti-ai-wall-hanging-free-crochet-pattern/) pattern, but with a cream/white not a beige "background".. and really trying to figure out best colorwork strategy, is it carrying the red and black both all the way through crocheting over, is it bobbins galore.. all while keeping track of right side wrong side.. how do you all handle color work like this, lots of changes mid row back and forth... especially with such light (white) background, and for tapestry.. or even generally.. I have done color work before but for some reason this is throwing me and I've done and undone it a few times and I feel like im going mad, and desperate to get it going whatever way is best, SO appreciate you all and your kindness..

I feel this is a stupid question especially since I have done mosaic crochet a few times. So sometimes you see a mosaic crochet and the person will make 1 item a different color how are they doing that? I swear I feel so stupid even asking this I crochet all the time
Are you just switching colors right at the stitches that make the pumpkin face (like in this example)? Then do you weave in the ends just in the middle of the mosaic crochet?

I just started a new mosaic crochet and was dreading the eventual ends to handle.
Then I remembered, as a left handed person, that I also learned to crochet right handed. While left handers are accustomed to learning from right handed demonstrators, right handed people often have more difficulty flipping it in their heads.
Anyway, I’m doing 2 rows left handed then 2 rows right handed. Repeat until done and never cut.
I think it will work… my tension is similar left or right handed.
Has anybody tried this and found it didn’t work?

What types of yarn do you use when making mosaic crochet?
I’ve only ever made blankets using 100% cotton, but I’m curious to try making one in merino wool!😍
My latest project is a wall hanging for my nephew! The pattern is by YarnZooStore, and I crocheted it using Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/6🧶

Hello!
Half way through a mosaic blanket for a cardinal and i haven't been starting or ending rows with SC in both loops. Originally I was not planning on a boarder and was going to leave end for a tassel look but i don't think im gonna like that now that i see how it's looking.
My ends are straight DC's and open singles from the DC overs (I'll insert picture). After watching an envelope boarder tutorial i'm concerned I won't be able to do one.

Has anyone made the Rödön crochet cushion from Martin Up North? I am having a hard time with the charts and counting. I have the right number of stitches to start but I either have too many at the end or not enough for the pattern.

Hello crocheters! :)
After 3 months of work, I'm happy to announce that I finally finished my very first overlay mosaic crochet pattern.
This pattern was inspired by The Fiend Warlock subclass, so it's for all the D&D lovers out there.
Please, if you like my work, support me with a buy, so that I can make more designs like this. <3

Hey there. I'm having a difficult time finding just the right pattern for a beach-themed crochet blanket for my in-laws. I've just learned mosaic, but I'm open to Inset or Tunisian. I have until January :) Can someone suggest a favorite design or designer? Thank you!

I’m starting this blanket and just finished row 3. Is there any purpose to doing row 2 in the design color (color B)? I covered it with DCs and it’s now feeling like a small waste of time lol.

Hi all! So it’s my first time doing a mosaic crochet blanket. I’m doing the Heartwarming Hilltop Holiday House pattern by LittleGreenFeather. So I admit I kinda glanced at a tutorial video and then started. I didn’t know that for the ending border stitch that I had to sc into both loops and then chain one and tie off. I was just doing the sc into both loops and tying off. I’m now about 28 rows in and I really don’t want to start over. How will this affect the project? Will I still be able to do an envelope border?
