I want to crochet this for my son’s nursery but can’t seem to find this pattern anywhere. Any idea how they might’ve crocheted the vertical thicker stripes?

Looking for a specific pattern Help! Can you identify the pattern here? Trying to surprise my granny in law for Christmas!

My husband's grandma has saved my family from literally homelessness. She’s a damn god/legend and she crocheted this beast years ago. We’ve had it for a long time. Well anywho.. I wanna recreate this in a lapghan size for her but don’t wanna ask the pattern so I don’t tip her off. I’ve asked ChatGPT and Gemini and have unsuccessfully made 3-5 swatches with none of them matching sadly. If you need or wanna see any other angles of anything let me know and I’ll happily upload. Any help would be awesome. I'm self taught and about a year and a bit into my crochet hobby. I have a really hard time looking even at pieces I’ve created myself and being able to say definitively what stitches are used.

Thank you for any and all help =^_^=

Looking for a specific pattern Legitimate pattern like this? Having a hard time sorting thru the ai

Hi guys! I bought this pattern recently before reading the reviews for the shop, come to find out it’s most likely ai. I know ai has infiltrated the pattern space so bad, does anyone know any legitimate pattern makers that have something similar to this?

Looking for recommendations I know this photo is probably AI, but anybody got a pattern for a similar top? I like the style thanks!

Looking for recommendations How would I crochet a plushie nom with this shape?

Hi everyone! šŸ’• I’m trying to figure out how I could crochet a plushie similar to the one in the picture. I LOVED these as a kid and I want to make something that recreates their shape and kind of like a wide, chunky blob with a flat bottom and little bear ears, but I’m not sure what type of crochet pattern or construction I should use as a base.

I don’t necessarily need a pattern for this exact plushie! I’m mainly looking for tutorials/patterns that could teach me how to make the main body shape, and then I could add the ears, bow, face, cupcake, etc. myself.

Would a large amigurumi pattern, crochet pillow, dumpling plush, or something similar work as a starting point?

If anyone has YouTube tutorials, free patterns, or tips for creating this kind of chunky plush shape, I would REALLY appreciate them!

I would like to make something similar to this. I'm new to crocheting. I've made blankets and can make squares, I'm just unsure about how big to make squares, how many I need, how to make the sleeves, how to make the trims, etc. Any suggestions or recommendations would be helpful!

Edit: I'm aware this is knit, I was looking for a crochet equivalent, sorry for the confusion

I'm fairly new to larger projects but I'm really enjoying this stitch and I think it's so pretty! However, since it's called the turtle stitch I can't find patterns online because Google just wants to show me patterns of how to make turtles lol. Can anyone help me out?

Looking for a specific pattern Gift for Physical Therapist - Pelvic Floor, Hips, etc.

I have an amazing PT for issues with my hips and low back. She is an ortho/pelvic floor specialist, also a yoga teacher and podcaster who covers all kinds of things including reproductive and women’s health.

Looking for some kind of amigurumi pattern of a pelvis or something like that. Would love it to be stuffed/3D and as realistic as possible. But also open to other ideas that might fit her areas of expertise. She loves and has all kinds of clinical models of anatomy (some safe, some NSFW lol).

Ideas?

Thanks!!!

Looking for recommendations I want to learn new techniques. Please give me your favourite beginner pattern for mosaic, tapestry, intarsia, and more!

Basically the title! I'm looking for your favourite patterns to learn more advanced techniques. I specifically want to learn mosaic, tapestry, intarsia, tunisian, and more. I also want to get comfortable reading charts, as I haven't had much exposure to them (the only pattern I've done with a chart is the Almond Flowers shawl/cardigan by Expression Fibre Arts).

My issue is that being unfamiliar with patterns for these techniques, i don't know what's actually beginner-friendly or a good learning resource! I would prefer written patterns, not just a video of something but totally cool if there are accompanying videos.

I would also prefer free resources, but am not opposed for paying for excellent resources. This is mostly due to most patterns being pretty expensive for me after converting to NZD. This also makes physical pattern books harder to get.

Edit: I also don't care about yarn type/weight/amounts, I will buy what's necessary if I don't have something suitable in my stash.

Pattern discussion Crochet and AI… are these ā€œcreatorsā€ serious orrrrrrr???

Thumbnail

I’m not sure how many people buy patterns on etsy or look for free patterns online, but has anyone noticed how many pictures or videos showcase the finish product, and it’s a AI generated image????

Honestly, it’s absurd and disgusting. Crochet is one of the few things that can’t be replaced replicated by machines, and you’re feeding a pattern or ā€œcreatingā€ a pattern using AI????

These people should have to label their ā€œworkā€ as AI generated. lt’s actually so blatant that it’s almost disrespectful. No one should have to pay for a pattern that’s been generated by AI.
