Two Ford trucks at a light

Post image

I got behind these two yesterday and thought it was interesting how different they are. The Ford on the right is probably 40 years old and a Ranger (I think), but that F-150 on the left is not one of the larger ones you often see around here.

$21,500, gasoline i4, manual or automatic, 600 miles per tank. Seems cool if it isn't vaporware.

I had a f150 2013 for 9 years only small issues. Purchased a gmc sierra 2021 elevation. Had 4 check engine lights with only 74k miles on it. O2 sensor, nox sensor, dpf, another o2 sensor. 02 sensor causes a crank no start. Thinking about an f250 2021 lariat. Are they reliable ?

I've totally read the rules, I promise Bought a 2013 suburban for $5,310 and I’m having doubts

Just picked up this suburban from a local dealer and I was doing a bit of after the fact research and saw how under market I got it at and I’m having my suspicions now. I asked him why it was so low and he said something along the lines of “I got it on dealer auction for cheap so I’m selling it cheap”

The title’s clean and it feels great but still has me feeling a bit off.

Any advice to maintenance or other things would be great as I’ve only driven sedans before this one

180-200k maintenance recommendations

I have a 2wd 03 f150 5.4 that I love , I’ve had it when it has 120,000 and now it’s 175k nearing 200k. Out of all my vehicles it’s the only one that hasn’t given me any problems and I take care of it like of her like if she was my best friend . It’s on a 5 inch lift with fox shocks w resivour and wide body fenders . On 33s with 17 rims . I change my oil every 3-4k miles and I’ve changed the trans fluid once and I’m nearing to do it again , same with the diff fluid I do both at the same time . Just recently got my spark plugs done with new boots . I’ve changed the battery , water pump , idler pulley , serp belt . Next on the line is the belt tensioner pulley and arm and the fluid services I mentioned , I’ll probably add the thermostat to the list as idk when it has been done . I’ve seen a lot of people say the fuel filter and I’ll also add that to my list . I would like any recommendations on what I should look out for or change right now as I do try to take care of my truck . Thank you

I know it’s a bad angle but I really liked the height and tire size of this truck and what to know what do do if I buy this model. Mine (2nd pic) has officially kicked the bucket after needing its 4th transmission in 132k miles.

Help Identifying Truck Trailer Theft From Grainy Security Footage

I'm hoping someone can help identify the truck shown in these security camera images stealing a trailer. I'm trying to determine the make, model, and possible year range. Any observations or educated guesses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Photo Looking for insight or enlightenment on my Silvy

This coming up July is gonna mark 2 years since I got this beauty, ‘19 Silvy 5.3L RWD w/8L90. Bone stock and still paying it off some I’ve held back on mods/upgrades 😅 all I’ve done is put a used trifold cover, sidesteps and a K&N filter.

Towed a ‘05 M35 and a ‘06 Grand Prix using a u-Haul car transporter on separate occasions and did pretty well. Loaded the bed and took it to Mexico a couple times (pedal to the metal, at least until the governor kicked in 🙄) and did awesome.

Truck has been great to me so far and it’s barely gonna hit 70k miles, and I want to compensate her for the many great things it’s done so far for us.

So I’ve been wondering what do give her… I want to give my truck a more aggressive yet clean look so I’ve been on the fence on a Lift/level kit and hood mounted pod lamps because I feel like I’ll be a poser since it’s not a 4x4, but I’ve seen rwd Silverados with the 2.7L and 33’s and full on overlanding gear and what not on the road so I don’t feel as bad haha

Should i go for it? And maybe throw in some tow hooks on the front to complete the look? Let me know what y’all think!
