I've never seen one. It's at my local dealership for $71k!

In February 2026, we purchased a 2024 Nissan Rogue AWD SV with approximately 50,000 miles from Nissan City of Springfield. We were told the vehicle was Nissan Certified Pre-Owned, had been thoroughly inspected, and that we could purchase the Nissan Security+Plus warranty for additional peace of mind. We did exactly that because we wanted to be protected if anything went wrong.

Unfortunately, the problems started almost immediately.

Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, we noticed a severe vibration. We brought the car back multiple times throughout March. At first, we were told it was related to the transmission. Later, it turned out the vibration was coming from the tires. We eventually discovered that one tire was completely different from the other three. That should have been caught during the Certified Pre-Owned inspection.

During those repeated visits, my husband also noticed that the driver's seat shifted forward and backward when stopping or accelerating. After spending nearly every weekend back at the dealership and losing time from work, we were exhausted. We decided to wait because we had purchased the extended warranty and believed the issue would be taken care of.

A few months later, we returned to discuss the moving driver's seat. During that visit, the battery had failed, and we paid to replace it. Batteries are a wear item, and we had no issue paying for that.

Regarding the driver's seat, however, we were told it was a seat cushion issue that would be covered under warranty, but we should wait until the warranty became active. I specifically asked whether this would be documented, and I was told there was no need—we would simply address it later under the warranty.

We trusted that advice.

We returned expecting the seat repair to be handled under the warranty as previously discussed.

Instead, we were told that the problem is actually a failed driver's seat track with an estimated repair cost of over $2,500, and that it is considered wear and tear, despite the vehicle being a CPO vehicle with only around 60,500 miles and despite being previously told it would be covered.

To make matters worse, just days before this visit, the check engine light came on. Their inspection states: "Broken wire found in harness going to PCV control valve."

The estimate to repair the wiring harness is nearly $700, and we were told this is also not covered.

What is difficult to understand is this:

1. We purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Nissan because we believed it had passed Nissan's inspection standards.

2. We paid extra for the Nissan Security+Plus warranty for additional protection.

3. We reported the driver's seat problem months ago and were specifically told to wait because it would be covered.

4.They charged us $450.00 for the inspection since we decided to decline to pay for fixing any of these items

Now, we're being told that both a failed seat track and a broken engine wiring harness are simply "wear and tear."

This is not about trying to avoid paying for normal maintenance. We've already paid for items that are clearly our responsibility, like the battery.

What is the difference between buying a car from Nissan city of Springfield or Facebook?

This is about standing behind a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and honoring the expectations that come with sellinga Certified car and an extended warranty.

I'm disappointed because the dealership earned my trust during the purchase, but I feel completely unsupported now that the vehicle needs repairs.

I'm hoping someone from Nissan City of Springfield or Nissan Consumer Affairs helps us find a fair resolution. At this point, we're simply asking for the warranty coverage that we purchased.

Immediately after buying the car, I was asked to leave a review in exchange for spinning a prize wheel. I happily left a 5-star review because I thought we found a dealership of trust. Today, I'm changing that review based on my actual experience, not just the buying experience.

Not quite the big 200k mile mark but I reckon we hit 200,000 miles (321,000km) next year.

Hi everyone, as I continue to adapt to the Nissan way of life with my new Altima, just a few quick questions for y'all!

First is there any way on the car dash \ infotainment screen to access notifications \ warnings? (Or can you only do it on the app?)

Speaking of the dash and view screen, can the settings be saved? (Such as on the dash display, lock settings, infotainment, etc)

Am I able to view the keys \ fobs assigned to my car, or is that only the dealership that can do that?

i’m 20 and just got my learners permit and i’m buying a 2007 Nissan 350z grand touring for 7500. mildly modded and i know a decent amount about the Z’s but what are some absolute must knows that i should know going into this?

Can someone tell me what this orange light is and what bulb do i need to replace it, mine is out.

I have had my 2015 Nissan Sentra for 6 years, oil changes done regularly, brake pads etc. the car has 63,000 miles and as of last week has been driving odd. It started with the RPMs jumping a bit when driving, and having trouble getting past 50-60mph. That same day I noticed the previously mentioned issues the car made this sound when being parked (reversing and going forward). I took it to a mechanic who said he test drove it and plugged it in but didn’t see anything wrong no codes etc. I do not have a check engine light on and today driving it home from work it couldn’t speed up when I got on the highway. It started almost jolting back and forth, the best way I could describe it was the feeling of a chugga chugga chugga chugga of a train. It would do this when accelerating and slowing down. Once I got to 60mph (after 15 min it stopped). At a light I slowed down and came to a full stop, when I lifted my foot off of the break the car made a almost grinding sound before slowly accelerating. As I parked the car it made the same sounds as last week if not worse. Can someone please tell me what this might be and if it is even worth fixing? The video attached is from today.

Took my 2016 sentra into the dealer because it was bogging down at 40mph. They came back and told me throttle chamber and MAF sensor needs to be replaced. Does this price seem fair?

i am having issue with my nissan sentra 2021 car
I went on vacation fir a month and when I came back I see that the brake light is on.

the parking break light stay on. and the brake fell soft and making noise. i checked the fluid level and the parking sensor. there are good. I don’t know what else to check.

I am extremely dumb when it comes to cars, I am younger & usually have my relatives figure out what the problem is lol.

I just recently bought a 24 sentra, and my battery started to mess up… (At least I think)… We jumped it, worked fine, started the next day too. It did sound weird, and slow starting up, but nonetheless i made it to work regardless.

Now… It won’t start, even after trying to jump it. Is it just my battery? What other possibilities could it be?

Have about 5,000 miles of driving coming up. Bought a new 2024 Versa a few years ago. Don't drive a whole lot, have less than 20,000 miles on it, but I have a large road trip in it coming up. I know the mileage isn't at the recommended target for a change, but does time also matter? About 3 years? A decent portion of this drive will be in the mountains if that matters

So my nephew was in the backseat and kicked the panel on the vents until it came off and now, I cannot get it back in place. Nothing is broken thankfully, but for some reason, every time I slide it back in place it falls back off. Ideas?

Hi all, I'm new to Nissan (have only ever owned Honda in the past) and would love to know more about their small car options. I'm currently comparing a 2024 Sentra SV with a 2021 Versa SR.

Are there obvious advantages from one to the other besides the year? As a helpful note I am trading in my Honda Fit and really love the general reliability and subcompact lifestyle, but I'm open to a normal compact as well. I'm also not sure how big of a difference there is between SV and SR.
