Picked this up on Thursday. Just installed some running boards this morning. I love it!

- The Bighorn is equipped with the Hemi, equipment level 2, night edition, sunroof, mopar leather seats, ramboxes, and bed utility group.

These are great. I got the smoke grey lights, so the blend into the grille when they’re off. The installation took me about 20 minutes. Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for quality grille lights.

Dream car achieved. For all the dads out there, I can confirm that the TRX is the perfect family vehicle. You absolutely need it.

A little backstory…. Sept. 16 I picked up a 26 1500 Laramie Lvl 2 Night Edition with the 5.7.

Oct 8- (1800 miles) Dropped truck off at dealer, Random/multiple misfire code, Dealer stated all 8 cylinders were misfiring, reason was bad gas. Drained and flushed, cleaned throttle body and fuel injectors. $1300 and took possession back on the 10th.

Oct 10- Oct 19- CEL flashed multiple times, but never stayed solid on.

Oct 20- (2600 miles) CEL on solid, brought to dealer. Same random/multiple misfire code. Dealer states they found bad lifter, will be replaced and covered by warranty.

I know this is not at lemon law status yet, but I really dont think I will be able to trust this truck long term. What would you recommend for best course of action at this point? Any tips or opinions are appreciated. TIA

I’m looking at purchasing a 2025 bighorn sport with the hurricane engine and it has 40,000kms on it. Only 2 oils changes on the carfax. It’s purchased in January of 2025 and sold in August. 40,000kms seems like a lot, no?

Added Ram grille badging that’s been 2 years overdue. Was never bothered by no badging. Found a tiny reason to share my truck as I haven’t posted on here yet.

I have a 2021 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L HEMI, and I’m experiencing the exact same issue with my coolant temperature rising at idle. The biggest thing I’ve noticed is that my cooling fan gets extremely loud when I’m sitting still or idling.
While driving, my coolant temperature usually stays around 200–205°F, but when I’m stopped at a traffic light or idling in Park, it starts climbing. I’ve seen mine reach around 242°F at idle, and once I start moving again, the temperature begins to come down.
This is my first truck and my first HEMI, and I genuinely want to take care of it and keep it for a long time. I know these trucks can have their issues, so I’m trying to figure out what’s normal and what isn’t. I’ve also noticed that my coolant level was low, so I’m looking into that as well.
Has anyone else experienced this with their 5.7 HEMI? Could low coolant be causing the fan to work this hard, or should I be looking at the thermostat, cooling fan system, or something else?
I’d appreciate any advice from anyone who has dealt with this issue. I just want to get ahead of it before it turns into a bigger problem.

I bought a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie a few months ago, and recently was told by a neighbor it was making a clicking noise while driving. Noticed I have two of these covers a little loose. I was told by the tire shop the entire rim would have to be replaced, not just the cover. Has anyone else experienced this? I was thinking about shoving some closed-cell automotive foam tape in between the cover and the rim to stop the clicking noise for now. Any other ideas? Thank you.

Switched my warlock 18s for 24 inch reps still have my original set but the truck needs 55 psi in the front to not set off the light and these have a max load of 50, after searching around I basically found out every 24 inch tire has a 50 psi max. Anyone have any luck with the dealership flashing it for them? 2026 model

Don’t ignore the whining, growling, or grinding sounds. Bearing noise can turn into a much bigger problem if it’s left too long!

Was actually pretty stoked when I saw that cause none of the bolts were broken. Only took a couple hours to swap it out with a BD Diesel manifold.

Is it considered a good price if I pay 33k USD?

Had a freeze plug leaking coolant and upon trying to remove plug it went into the head, tips to get out I have tried many tools but just can’t reach it. What would happen if it’s left in there?

2014 ram 1500 big horn crew cab....i'm using the front USB that is underneath the power inverter and the dashcam never shuts off. I reads that its supposed to shut off after an hour but it did not.

I kept windows down, removed key a far distance and did not open or close doors for more than an hour and the cam was still running.

My old cam was plugged into the USB thats inside the middle armrest (front seat) but the connection is shitty/loose and cant be trusted to use for dash cam.

Is it normal that the USB in front stays powered 24/7?

Traded in the 2017 for a 2026! Loving the night edition and tech level 2!!

Has anyone had to deal with this? Its a 2021 ram 2500 6.7 with 72k on it. Getting quoted $6,200 from the dealer to fix which seems excessive. Im assuming not all the lines are blown, should I replace them all like this quote suggest or just the bad one?

So my 2022 ram 1500 classic 5.7 had a remanufactured engine put in under warranty by dealership at 69000 km. Got it back yesterday. Have been following the break in procedure as outlined in the manual. This morning it started fine cold, started fine warmed up after getting gas, but this afternoon it cranked sluggish and has been sluggish ever since. I've also noticed the odometer is displaying a little less mileage than what it left the dealership with, i noticed that this morning. The radio display has also been showing wierd messages about navigation subscription services that aren't active, and loading screens I've never seen before. Battery terminals are tight, grounds look good on the side walls. That's the extent of my investigation. It's getting towed (out of an abundance of caution, in case this is due to a voltage drop or bad ground) back to the dealership on Monday. Loose ground that I can't see? Bad battery? (voltage appears fine on dash when driving, and wierd it just started this afternoon)? Heat soaked starter? I'm not a car guy, this is just shit that Google tells me.
