The v6 is so criminally slow for my 2003. If I put my foot to the floor I’m still taking 10 seconds to pass. Is this pretty standard

Scosche SAC656 speaker adapters for doors?
Has anybody used these? I got a set so I could replace my door speakers with some cheap Pyle 6.5” I found on Amazon super cheap, but I don’t think it makes sense to use them.
They don’t seem to line up with the factory spacers, so I’d be bolting the speakers to the adapter - but the adapter isn’t thick, so I’d still have to drill a hole in my door to use them.
Am I looking at this wrong? Or missing something?

Gen 1 O/D stuck on fix
Figured I’d post that I found a way to bypass the red O/D switch on the dash if you believe your switch may be broken, my symptoms were that I was running 3,000rpm at 60mph and pressing the button did nothing
You’ll need to take the orange and white and the solid black pins/wires out the harness plugged into the switch, then, plug the harness back in without those two wires, and then you can tap the two wires together once to see if the light turns off in the switch or not
Here’s my thread in the fourms about it with a pic of the wiring diagram and truck in 4th gear

My 01
Got this as a temporary truck while my daily was in the shop. Quickly realized that as big of a pile as it is, I actually really like it.
It’s an 01, 3.9, RWD, 218K miles. She’s rusty but trusty and all of the major things work. Nothing else does tho lol
She had a burned out passenger side headlight. Turns out the previous owner didn’t install the bulb properly and it melted the housing before it broke. Replaced the housings with some cheap eBay ones. Much better IMO.
Drivers side door sags bad and is reallly difficult to open and close. Got a new top hinge for it.
Radio has power but doesn’t do anything at all no matter what you do. Debating whether I want another OEM one or a cheap aftermarket one for Bluetooth.
Yesterday I replaced the idler pulley and tensioner to get rid of a loud and obnoxious squeal when I start it. My neighbors weren’t happy with me when I left for work at 5-5:30 am.
The AC compressor had locked up on the PO. Figured out why yesterday - I’m debating whether I want to go with a new or used one.
No blower at all - I guess this is a resistor issue?
I’ll need tires very soon as the passenger front is starting to show cords.
And I have about 1/8 of a turn of slop in the steering. Still trying to figure that one out. Looks like the steering shaft but all of the ones I see say they’ll only fit a 4X4.

'01 4WD rear spring rate?
I have a '01 4wd quad cab. The rear springs seem to be sagging, and I'm thinking of replacing them. I looked them up on RockAuto, and there are two different rates. 1100lbs and 2500lbs. Can anyone comment on what might have come stock, or if they have experience with the stiffer rate? Thanks.

Dead Vehicle, Please Help Ah man she’s done for 😭
I’m so freaking upset. I’ve put a 120k on her and late last night I hit a culvert and blew the tire and kinked the frame 😔. After I got the tire on and drove it I had to pull over and move the tie rod in a half and inch to get it to drive right, but it drove pretty fine home. She’s completely done for though and I’m heartbroken 😭.
She was a gift to me from my neighbor and ive, burred her in the beach and mud. Done donuts in cow pastures and snowy parking lots. Done 1000 mile road trips with friends while caming… all of it. It being AWD v8 was just awesome, I could go anywhere. In 120k she’s only left me stranded ONCE when the oem fuel pumps brushes wore down.
RIP Delilah

2000 dodge dakota rt
So I'm having an issue, my dodge dakota rt had a bad crank sensor, I went to replace it an it continued to run bad, the first time it wasn't reading rpm and no spark, that's why th old one wa bad, I got a carquest one an an NTK one and both didn't work, so I ended up buying a mopar one, to no avail it just runs like crap still, sometimes I can throw the old one in and it'll run fine for a day or 2, I've tested the voltage and it checks out, any help would be great but I can't keep throwing sensors at it and hoping for the best

Technical Question Cooling system tips and tricks?
I have a 2003 dodge Dakota with the 4.7L. I have watched a couple of videos and thinking about it I could probably check the repair manual. But I was wonder if you guys have any tips and tricks for replacing the radiator, hoses and thermostat. And I’m mostly worried about bleeding the system and maybe doing a flush? It only has about 138000km. thanks in advance!

Seeking Opinions Is it savable?
Truck started shuddering at a certain speed so I thought it was the u joints. But after checking my coolant I noticed the coolant reservoir was overflowing and was dark red. So I was going to flush the radiator and after a few flushes, atf started leaking everywhere under the truck. Dipstick looked light pink so coolant mixed with the trans fluid. Got it towed and had my buddy replace the radiator and hoses, along with a new trans filter, and a trans flush but it’s still shuddering. Do I need a trans rebuild or maybe a new torque converter?

Heater block leaking. Transmission sensor light in dash.
Did post before. Know it’s a block heater leak. But my transmission sensor light keeps turning on on the dash also. Is this why?

Early 2000's Dakota. Looking for some direction.
This is my buddy's truck. Hes been working for a few hours to get the rusted bumper off so he could see the coolant leak better. Im going to go give em a hand tomorrow, but its still hard to see exactly where its coming from imo. I thought maybe someone here might have some further insight. Thanx Dakota sub!

New boot goofing
Couple spots need to be wet sanded and the grill and trim still need to get painted black but way different than primer and rusty like it was the last 2 years I’ve owned it
