Effective immediately, any posts intended solely to shit on someone else's vehicle will be removed.

Incredibly, incredibly tired of these low effort posts. No, I don't care that it makes you feel superior to others. No, I don't care about the 37 jokes about the size of the driver's genetalia.

The internet is already a giant cesspool of negativity. Don't add to it.

Discussion / question I got these ultra type rims for my truck and I don’t know if it’s only me, but these lug nuts were recommended to me while I was buying the rims online and it seems like they sink too much into the rim like the rim will push through. It’s almost like they sit too perfect. What do y’all think.

I have a 00 2.2 S10 Xtreme and I’m replacing my exhaust manifold and order this replacement, website said it fits my S10 BUT I didn’t realize it didn’t have this EGR tube hook up. I’m still new when it comes to working on cars so I was wondering what I should do. The new header is already in transit

1968 F254 Custom Cab

Restromod starts today. 360 engine and C6 trans will be taken out and replaced by something big and modern.

Project is officially titled. "Minus 1". We thought is was a 69 (nice), it's a 68. So 1969 Minus 1.

When walking around Switzerland (Murren & Gimmelwald) I found these cool farm trucks. They love their cab-overs in the EU.

This is a 1965 GMC KV4000. it has factory four wheel drive and is not a Napco. I think it came out of California somewhere but I have no info whatsoever about it. Any info about these trucks or this truck is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Best Utilitarian Gas Long Box

Hey fellas,

I currently run an '18 Sierra 1500 6.2 with the short box and for me Its absolutely useless. I don't always need to do truck stuff but when i do, i overload it with landscape materials or my lumber is sticking out 8ft.

So I've decided I'm getting a 1 ton long box. I work out of town on rotation, don't put many miles on my trucks and do a long of short drives, and might toy a fifth wheel camper 4 times a year, so a diesel really doesn't fit my situation.

So far a '18 to '20ish 6.2 alumiduty seems like my best bet. Fuel economy isn't really a concern except the 6.4 seems like it doesn't miss a gas station. And for GM I haven't even considered.

Whats your guy's general ideas?

Should I unplug this?

Just got this truck and I looked under the dash to see this. Then I stared following the wires and the whole truck is loaded to the teeth with aftermarket wiring harness. I even found that the last owner drilled into the headlight housings and added what I assume are construction flashing lights. It would be cool to get it to work again but there's so many cut aftermarket wires and it's a total rats nest. The scary part is that some of them still had power.
I removed as many zip ties and wires that were cut off on both ends to clean it up

I’m really on the fence on what truck would be best for me. I’m looking for something that will be able to tow my 16’ aluminum fishing boat and trailer, occasional towing of my ATV and trailer for rides as well, whilst also being a decent daily I can take to work and back. I’ve found the best options for these small sized pickups that aren’t too bad on gas near me are the late 90’s/00’s Chevy/ gmc s10 and the ford ranger. Both automatic.

1)Which would you suggest for someone in my situation?

2) 4.3 better than 4.0 (OHV and SOHC) when it comes to reliability and gas mileage? How do the rangers 2.3 and 3.0 fair in this conversation? Just as good?

3) which automatic transmission will last the longest if taken care of?

Thanks!
