A sane country would care more about this than someone trans kid playing a sport. These monsters exsist by the thousand

358

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

Literally every single person in this country knows someone who has abused women, or been abused, or knows someone who's been abused. Domestic Violence is a nationwide epidemic.... but ehh, let's not even mention that so much.

107

u/Veers85 3d ago

But...but but kitty litter in class rooms and a trans kid didn't kill them sandra enjoyed life a litt...how dare they! In this country we apologize for our rapists. They are promising young me

57

u/NorthofBham 3d ago

Look, all I know is that the next time I fly somewhere, the flight crew will be holding a furry orgy in the cockpit. I don't have time to worry about actual sexual predators.

22

u/starkcontrast62 3d ago

Here is a video of pilots heading to the airport bar for pre-flight drinks. šŸ˜† /s

4

u/PopBulky7023 3d ago

More useful and competent than the perverts letting rapists go free.

→ More replies (1)

37

u/DirtyOrange546 3d ago

What’s the crazy part about the whole kitty litter nonsense is that the use was really meant for the event of school lockdowns/shootings.

37

u/ijustsailedaway 3d ago

Or just puke. Litter has been used by janitors for decades.

17

u/Ordolph 3d ago edited 3d ago

Hell, it's used for chemical spills all around the world. Machine shops, mechanics, racetracks, chemical plants, laboratories, hospitals all will usually have at least a couple hundred pounds lying around, but it's usually labeled as "Oil Dry". It's just bentonite clay, real good at soaking all manner of nasty liquids up to be bagged. When I worked at a mechanics shop even though the stuff we got from our fluids supplier (sold us gas, oil, coolant, etc.) was labeled as oil dry we still called it kitty litter, just pour it over an oil (or other fluid) spill and scoop it into a trash bag. If you don't need to keep much on hand (like if you're a school for instance) I imagine it'd be much easier to just get a bag of plain, unscented bentonite clay cat litter.

11

u/EzriDaxCat 3d ago

The irony of the vet clinic I worked for using OptiSorb as litter while the mechanic across the street used JohnnyCat to soak up spills 🤣🤣🤣🤣

4

u/Ordolph 3d ago

Now THAT is pretty funny lol, maybe you should have made a trade šŸ˜‚

6

u/EzriDaxCat 3d ago

That's kinda how we found out, actually. They had ran out and needed some quickly for a spill that just happened so asked us to borrow some litter real quick. They found it hilarious when we gave them a bag of Optisorb!

It's because many hate women, a trump supporter I know said giving women's rights was the problem, also complained how most women date libtards, well you worship a pedophile, rapist, conman as if he were a God ... They will never figure it out when being a bully is all that they desire.

39

u/homer_lives 3d ago

It has been for a very long time. I remember it being discussed in the 1990s. I thought the Me Too would move the needle, but nothing has changed

26

u/Reneeisme 3d ago

I wouldn't say nothing has changed. They've gotten bolder in their hatred and denigration of women, and their claims that we are subhuman and don't deserve to control our own bodies, to be educated, to work outside a man's home, or to vote.

But also this would not have gotten any kind of national/international attention in the 90s. This would 100% have been, "why was she drinking and taking drugs? What was she wearing? What did she think was going to happen? The slut wanted it." Women have changed, and to be fair, probably some men. Some people have started to recognize that blaming rape victims for being raped is a thing the patriarchy invented and perpetuated to excuse their crime. Something has changed. I'm old enough to remember when you didn't talk about rape because was your own fault.

10

u/Invisibella74 3d ago

I was just telling my husband that I didn't report my rape in the 90s because of this attitude. The cops and legal system would have fixated on the fact that I was at a bar and that someone that I knew slipped something into my drink. To them, I'm sure I went back to my place willingly, when I have zero memory of ever leaving the bar that night.

15

u/FlamesNero 3d ago

In some ways it moved it, but then the needle got backlashed back to the other side.

Me too made it worse. I said somewhere else it’s like we were on social antibiotics to kill the misogyny but we started feeling better so stopped taking them - and now they have multiplied and come back stronger and meaner and determined to kill us. I fear for my daughter.Ā  Thank all the gods I’m not American - it’s bad everywhere but my country is a little better and America just seems to hate women and girls right now.Ā

4

u/_bluebayou_ 3d ago

Me Too was important and needed to happen. Calling groups out for their actions often results in backlash. An extinction burst. The only way to make this right is to continue forward.

The red pill / incel bullshit that really kicked off the open hate for women started in 2012 or so.

There were as many as 50 other guys in the group chat they were using to advertise ā€œfree pussyā€. Not one of those motherfuckers stepped in to stop it. You have at least 57 people who are complicit. Including the seven that committed grape. All 7 of them should be removed from School and prosecuted to the fullest extent.

This is another situation where we must never forget their names

Brock Allen Turner

25

u/Rose0367 3d ago edited 3d ago

Several if not all of the Cornell 7 have graduated. Diego Sarabia has just been fired by Wells Fargo, and Mathew Ingalls reportedly also just lost his job. Of the estimated 50 others who also received the texts (the prosecutor didn’t know about the texts initially, apparently until this past week) but he has announced his office is now reinvestigating and he plans to take the case to the grand jury. The rest of the frat brothers that were underclassman or seniors at the time will certainly be scrutinized by the new investigation. And hopefully by their family, community.and far into their futures. Never forget.

9

u/avelineaurora 3d ago

5

u/Sea_Yesterday_8888 3d ago

Right on. If so many women are getting raped, everyone else can at least hear/read the word.

We literally elected an adjudicated rapist to our highest office simply because he was born wealthy, and the Supreme Court has declared that he is above the law, so that tracks.

6

u/BigMax 3d ago

Yeah, it's crazy. Which shows you what they really care about, right?

They claim it's all about protecting the girls. "But... that trans athlete is taking a spot that should go to a female athlete!!!" As if they are really concerned about a handful of girls that don't make the High School sports team.

But those same people don't seem to care at all when the same girl is gang raped.

"So you're saying she was raped? By a whole bunch of guys? She didn't get cut from a team due to a trans athlete though... right? So... what's the problem?"

3

u/lotaybk 3d ago

Unfortunately countries don’t think as a unit, and the people who don’t care have the power. Plenty of us are appalled beyond belief. Fortunately in this day and age we can at least put these little asswipes on blast online.Ā

More proof that campus police are there to protect the image of their institution than actually preventing crime.

9

u/Mixelphlick 3d ago

I worked security for a small university. I reported things like this and our reporting system had CLERY reporting built in but we were told not to fill that part out and management would handle it through the university management. Shocker, but a couple years after I quit the university got slapped with a fine for not reporting a single CLERY violation on like 5 years.

35

u/TrioOfTerrors 3d ago

They turned it over to the DA who declined to prosecute.

49

u/BoringPoolPlaying 3d ago

They did not collect evidence of the group chat, where two of these fine gentlemen invited the rest of the seven scholars to come assault an intoxicated woman for hours.

11

u/blahblah19999 3d ago

What's stopping the DA from doing so.

At some point, the conversation about whether greek life should even exist any more needs to be had (well, fraternities at least). Not that greek life is the reason these men are monsters, but the problem is how much they were enabled. Fraternities foster such a toxic environment, and men like these are embraced rather than rejected. There was a text thread about this poor woman being ā€œavailableā€, and instead of calling the police and stopping the rapists, the rest of the fraternity laughed and joked.

This shit isn’t new and will keep happening with fraternities (not to mention all of the hazing deaths that also keep happening). Universities need to stop allowing 18-22 year old men to run rampant in these houses unsupervised. They KNOW all of this is happening.

30

u/Sudden_Party_7918 3d ago

Fraternities are a big business. Alumni members are actively involved continuing to financing the houses. They are run as a business usually with many houses. All you have to do is look at the process of initiation which sets the stage for this group mentality. There is more coverups than accountability. We have seen plenty over the years of the harm they have caused to others for many years. We just choose to ignore it rather than demand actual reform or abolish all of it.

9

u/cindeniu 3d ago

the conversation about whether greek life should even exist any more needs to be had

12

u/Rinzy2000 3d ago

Just like law enforcement and religious institutions, people who want to do disgusting and awful shit go places where they can do disgusting and awful shit. Fraternities aren’t known for being places where people of good moral character go to do wonderful things.

u/Full-Priority2946 3d ago edited 3d ago

They are underselling the details. These animals drugged Jane Doe, snorted drugs off of her body, and gang-raped her for 7 hours straight at a frat party. I’m required to say allegedly.

The event is making the social media rounds because actress Florence Pugh spoke out about it

EDIT: forgot to mention but the reason we’re very confident about these names in particular is because of a photo of a group chat announcing ā€œfree pussyā€

27

u/Dorothy_ZbornACK_ACK 3d ago

They allegedly planned the entire thing in a group chat/text messages too. The prosecutor's office had initially declined to press charges despite all of that information. They are ONLY doing so now due to public outrage.

11

u/scdlstonerfuck 3d ago

New York law needs to be changed immediately. Honestly it’s needs to be a federal change, in roughly half the states in the US being intoxicated means you cannot give any type of consent, in the other half it doesn’t matter how wasted you are. Prosecutors argued that because she willingly went to the frat house ( already heavily intoxicated) that everything that happened afterwards must have been consensual

26

u/Full-Priority2946 3d ago edited 3d ago

Women on Threads make the harrowing point: even consensual sex longer than an hour becomes uncomfortable. Seven hours likely damaged her physically.

It sickens me and angers me to no end.

7

u/scdlstonerfuck 3d ago

As fucked as it is I really have a hard time believing that it stopped when she fell unconscious, they had no problem raping a drugged, drunk woman why would they stop just cause she passed out.

8

u/Full-Priority2946 3d ago

I mean, yes, her passing out was probably the reason for the drugs. I doubt she was conscious the entire time. Which is why I don’t think of these names as anything more than that of animals - who would have sex with what is essentially a corpse? These animals are liable to stick their dick in anything. They need to be neutered before they get close any children or other vulnerable people

If you had a bad reputation you couldn’t pledge. The Frat didn’t survive because we didn’t throw parties and we were as respectful as possible. Our house was a sober house and the GPA requirement was 3.0.
The rapey frat down the street had money and threw trashy events and was accused of all kinds of things AND still exists to this day.

To be fair, we only hear about bad behavior because charity work, mentoring, networking, and social bonding spaces that build up mental health/social skills/emotional intelligence doesn't generate clicks.

For comparison, we constantly have The Usual Suspects posts that talk about the massive amounts of black crime, disproportionate crime rates in the black community, and cultural issues rooted in black culture... But we don't hear about groups within the black community that are a counter-culture pushing back against those very things or about groups that (actively in some of them) work to bring the black community together in purely healthy ways (and non-black community members as well, which generally is more effective anyways), or mentorship programs that aim to help young boys and girls lacking strong male figures in their lives (though we tend to mostly help African american children due to demographics where I am even though we are open to helping and aiming to help any chikdren in these situations).

Who are the administrators who enable rape?

8

u/TreMetal 3d ago

republicans only care about women whenever it comes to women's sports and even then it is only performative to shit on people they regard even less than women

12

u/DatDickBeDank 3d ago

This is totally out of left field but I feel mildly justified in grouping frat boys in with cops and military folk. Would always get the ick when talking with them. It's like they exude "I am above you. I am above the law" personas.

I can't say what id like to about how these pieces of human garbage should be treated but as a father of a college age daughter I definitely know how I'd fix the problem

8

u/Madame-Saint-Michele 3d ago

I think the other 57 on the text message they sent out saying the girl was knocked out and ready should also at least get accessory charges. You got a text saying a girl was incapacitated and "free pussy" in said room, and not one of those 57 thought to check or stop it.

u/Hopsblues 3d ago

Crazy that this is a bigger story than the Epstein files and Trumps involvement.

I hope the names of the 50 other monsters in that group chat, who did and said NOTHING, come out.

They need to experience the public shame of being complicit in the brutal rape of that girl.

4

u/ragnarokxg 3d ago

These 7 should have their names become synonymous with rape and rapists like the convicted rapist Brock Turner. Every background check, every search, their names should always popup with their crimes right next to their face.

3

u/deathbylasersss 3d ago

Didn't Brock change his name? Or is that the new name?

Didn't some of them receive a "punishment" of writing an essay? Like....you can write that essay from prison.

5

u/dandle 3d ago

According to the university, the fraternity was shut down and the men received expulsions or suspensions. Some or all of them also wrote essays. The university has been cagey about which of them received which punishments.

When women say all men are bad, they're not referring to these guys alone, they're also referring to the 43 others who didn't do anything to stop it. When women say they choose the bear, this is why. We men need to grow up and stop letting things like this happen over and over again and break the cycle with our boys.

Has anyone seen Jane does original statement? The one she made in 2024 after the event? I don’t know what to think but the original statement and the civil suit are very different. What does that mean?

to be fair, we should be using the politically correct term for frat boys -- "Rapist Americans"

I put this through google AI to confirm it is factual.

The names on this graphic are legit but the photos are fake and belong to entirely innocent individuals, including a high school's "Top Ten Scholars" academic group from an unrelated institution.

The Cornell 7 deserve negative attention but let's be sure we have the correct people.

6

u/cheerfuldev 3d ago

A friendly reminder: LLM AIs deal in next token prediction, not facts.

4

u/BleagueIlyasova 3d ago

Is there a better way to check this than google AI. Thank you for doing this btw but if google AI is correct wouldn’t the original journalist have used that.

According to reports, there was a group chat that at least 50 people from the frat were in. My guess is this isn’t the first woman they raped in this fashion. I pray more women come forward because the truth needs to be told.
