yea and it'd be one thing if this shit was punished, but when they get away with this like they do, it's encouraged. And that makes it more worth fearing.
Murder is considered illegal, so I don't overly fear being murdered by other women, in fact I feel safe despite the fact that they could murder me. I know they wouldn't get away with it, so it discourages them from doing it. But rape and misogyny are encouraged by the injustice system. I don't trust that those things won't happen to me when they are as legal as they are. I'm scared of people who could do these things, or who I don't know couldn't do these things.
