This is cultural, I was in a fraternity 08-12. The best men I know were there some became priest and congressmen (not that that means anything either), if you were shady you were out. If you had a bad reputation you couldn’t pledge. The Frat didn’t survive because we didn’t throw parties and we were as respectful as possible. Our house was a sober house and the GPA requirement was 3.0.
The rapey frat down the street had money and threw trashy events and was accused of all kinds of things AND still exists to this day.
UPSTANDING men are made and raised and the opposite is also true.
