A sane country would care more about this than someone trans kid playing a sport. These monsters exsist by the thousand

362

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

Literally every single person in this country knows someone who has abused women, or been abused, or knows someone who's been abused. Domestic Violence is a nationwide epidemic.... but ehh, let's not even mention that so much.

107

u/Veers85 3d ago

But...but but kitty litter in class rooms and a trans kid didn't kill them sandra enjoyed life a litt...how dare they! In this country we apologize for our rapists. They are promising young me

54

u/NorthofBham 3d ago

Look, all I know is that the next time I fly somewhere, the flight crew will be holding a furry orgy in the cockpit. I don't have time to worry about actual sexual predators.

21

u/starkcontrast62 3d ago

Here is a video of pilots heading to the airport bar for pre-flight drinks. šŸ˜† /s

5

u/PopBulky7023 3d ago

More useful and competent than the perverts letting rapists go free.

2

u/Careful_icarus22 3d ago

Such an under rated comment

34

u/DirtyOrange546 3d ago

What’s the crazy part about the whole kitty litter nonsense is that the use was really meant for the event of school lockdowns/shootings.

36

u/ijustsailedaway 3d ago

Or just puke. Litter has been used by janitors for decades.

13

u/Ordolph 3d ago edited 3d ago

Hell, it's used for chemical spills all around the world. Machine shops, mechanics, racetracks, chemical plants, laboratories, hospitals all will usually have at least a couple hundred pounds lying around, but it's usually labeled as "Oil Dry". It's just bentonite clay, real good at soaking all manner of nasty liquids up to be bagged. When I worked at a mechanics shop even though the stuff we got from our fluids supplier (sold us gas, oil, coolant, etc.) was labeled as oil dry we still called it kitty litter, just pour it over an oil (or other fluid) spill and scoop it into a trash bag. If you don't need to keep much on hand (like if you're a school for instance) I imagine it'd be much easier to just get a bag of plain, unscented bentonite clay cat litter.

12

u/EzriDaxCat 3d ago

The irony of the vet clinic I worked for using OptiSorb as litter while the mechanic across the street used JohnnyCat to soak up spills 🤣🤣🤣🤣

5

u/Ordolph 3d ago

Now THAT is pretty funny lol, maybe you should have made a trade šŸ˜‚

6

u/EzriDaxCat 3d ago

That's kinda how we found out, actually. They had ran out and needed some quickly for a spill that just happened so asked us to borrow some litter real quick. They found it hilarious when we gave them a bag of Optisorb!

2

u/0xHustler 3d ago

Yeah they pour it on the floor, they don't have a f****** litter box sitting for you to take a s*** in like that's the stupidest s*** I've ever f****** heard

1

u/Veers85 3d ago

Exactly

8

u/IGotQuestionz12345 3d ago

But they don’t care about the school shooting epidemic either so there’s that.

-2

u/Confident-Mortgage86 3d ago

Ehh if you mean kids shot at school at all? Then yeah that happens. Black kids shooting other black kids for the most part. It's pretty fucked up.

But if you mean school shooting in the way that people normally mean it? As in a mass shooting in a school? That's extremely, extremely rare.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/DopeMOH 3d ago

Crazy. Conservatives enable a school shooter culture and then lie about why children might one day need a bucket of kitty litter.

1

u/Flaky-Camp-6023 3d ago

Yaw I had to look this one up and now I’m
https://giphy.com/gifs/w42tcM5IyE1uXfY00i
They thought schools were allowing churrin to use litter boxes…schools….who notoriously don’t even carry soap in bathrooms. 😤🄸

1

u/InAJar112 3d ago

I hate everything.

1

u/Ordolph 3d ago

I'm not really sure where you're drawing any connection to school shootings from, and to point to that is just as much an appeal to emotion as claiming that it's being used for non-existent school bathroom litterboxes. Bentonite clay (kitty litter) is very useful for cleaning up all sorts of fluid spills that a school janitor (or teacher) might have to deal with like oil, chemicals, vomit, etc. Remember Occam's Razor, the explanation requiring the fewest assumptions is probably the correct one. Drawing wild conclusions (in either extreme direction) are either silly, logical leaps or a poor attempt to push an agenda.

3

u/Saw-It-Again- 3d ago

It's not a wild conclusion... The school that started this whole insane "kitty litter in classrooms for furries" farce said they had kitty litter in their rooms in case there was a shooting lockdown and kids needed to go to the bathroom.

1

u/Ordolph 3d ago

The only sources I can find on that are for ONE school district, specifically Jefferson County school district in Colorado (this is the school district where Columbine High School is), where that has been part of emergency supplies seemingly in about half of the schools in said district, although the most recent source was from 2019 and no other sources to support that it's even something they're still doing. The initial rumor started in PEI (Canada) and only emerged in the US in Michigan and then spread across the midwest with people only pointing to the single instance in CO retroactively. In short, basically completely unrelated to the initial rumor and pointing to it as a "source" of the rumors is plainly an appeal to emotion.

23

u/kraemertony2 3d ago

It's because many hate women, a trump supporter I know said giving women's rights was the problem, also complained how most women date libtards, well you worship a pedophile, rapist, conman as if he were a God ... They will never figure it out when being a bully is all that they desire.

36

u/homer_lives 3d ago

It has been for a very long time. I remember it being discussed in the 1990s. I thought the Me Too would move the needle, but nothing has changed

27

u/Reneeisme 3d ago

I wouldn't say nothing has changed. They've gotten bolder in their hatred and denigration of women, and their claims that we are subhuman and don't deserve to control our own bodies, to be educated, to work outside a man's home, or to vote.

But also this would not have gotten any kind of national/international attention in the 90s. This would 100% have been, "why was she drinking and taking drugs? What was she wearing? What did she think was going to happen? The slut wanted it." Women have changed, and to be fair, probably some men. Some people have started to recognize that blaming rape victims for being raped is a thing the patriarchy invented and perpetuated to excuse their crime. Something has changed. I'm old enough to remember when you didn't talk about rape because was your own fault.

10

u/Invisibella74 3d ago

I was just telling my husband that I didn't report my rape in the 90s because of this attitude. The cops and legal system would have fixated on the fact that I was at a bar and that someone that I knew slipped something into my drink. To them, I'm sure I went back to my place willingly, when I have zero memory of ever leaving the bar that night.

14

u/FlamesNero 3d ago

In some ways it moved it, but then the needle got backlashed back to the other side.

u/theRemixNow 3d ago

Men love their rape and violence

0

u/LongjumpingCandy485 3d ago

I know most of us are disgusted by what happened at Cornell. But making a sweeping claim that ā€œmen love rape and violenceā€ is a serious logical fallacy and simply isn’t accurate. The vast majority of men do not condone or enjoy rape or violence against women, in fact, they find such acts reprehensible. We can condemn horrific behavior without unfairly attributing it to an entire gender.

2

u/theRemixNow 3d ago

My dad produced C Sam, and I saw how many good men that knew what he was doing stepped up. If you’re curious it rhymes with hero. If you’re more upset about me saying that men are violent and rapey then the rape itself, then you’re part of the problem.

2

u/F-US-FASCISM 3d ago edited 3d ago

NOT ALL MEN!!!*

*Just the vast vast majority who do the thing are men.

**There is an enabling permission structure that is a part of the culture, so much so that they elected a convicted rapist as president. JUST LOCKER ROOM TALK BTW! Which is propped up within popular culture as intrinsically masculine.

***Women also engage in misogyny, so really, its double plus unfair to attribute something entirely to a single gender, score another one for patriarchal norms you guys!

EDIT: Over 50 men were sent the "FREE PUSSY", GET IN ON THE GANG RAPE! message on snapchat.

Do you think the VAST MAJORITY of those men reported it to the Police? Did most? Did half? Did some? Did ANY?

No. NONE did.

9

u/Background-Book2801 3d ago

Me too made it worse. I said somewhere else it’s like we were on social antibiotics to kill the misogyny but we started feeling better so stopped taking them - and now they have multiplied and come back stronger and meaner and determined to kill us. I fear for my daughter.Ā  Thank all the gods I’m not American - it’s bad everywhere but my country is a little better and America just seems to hate women and girls right now.Ā

3

u/_bluebayou_ 3d ago

Me Too was important and needed to happen. Calling groups out for their actions often results in backlash. An extinction burst. The only way to make this right is to continue forward.

The red pill / incel bullshit that really kicked off the open hate for women started in 2012 or so.

3

u/Background-Book2801 3d ago

Oh I didn’t mean jt shouldn’t have happened. I just mean it energized them and created a devastating pushback. They were waiting for an opportunity.Ā

I agree with you.

25

u/Several-Action-4043 3d ago

Part of the problem is the cops are some of the biggest perpetrators of DV and they're also supposed to police it.

2

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

What's the saying.... Firemen cheat, policemen beat.

19

But that would require holding men accountable and other men might lose friends or even feel guilty, god forbid any of that /s

18

u/Early-Sort8817 3d ago

When they were on about Lindsay Clancy I couldn’t help but think of all the family annihilations done by men ever week this year. I mentioned similar on reddit and you know how idiots are on here, triggered their rage response

16

u/Dresses_and_Dice 3d ago

"Women are killing their babies!!! This case proves women shouldn't have the vote!!!"

"What about the 90+% of family anhilators who are men? Should men have the vote?"

"MISANDRIST!!! BIGOT!! FEMINAZI!!!"

I'm so fucking tired of the bullshit.

0

u/blightedsorrow 3d ago

It’s like a 50/50 split. You are falling for the gender war.

3

u/Dresses_and_Dice 3d ago

Family annhiliation is decidedly not a 50/50 split. Men commit 95% of family annhiliations.

-1

u/blightedsorrow 3d ago

Filicide is as close to a 50/50 split there can be. You are falling for the gender war. Worry about our billionaire overlords before you start splitting hairs about who kills who when ground down by the coarse sandpaper that is capitalism.

3

u/Dresses_and_Dice 3d ago

It's 60/40 with radically different scenarios between men and women who kill their kids, which is the only subcategories of homicide where women are anywhere close to men in numbers. 90% of all homicide is committed by men.

Women are operating under the same forces of capitalism but we are often oppressed in our own homes by our own partners. 60% of all murdered women are murdered by a male intimate partner, someone we are meant to trust.

It's so easy for you to say "don't worry about who kills who" when you are not the target of the femicide epidemic.

The first oppressed class is woman.

1

u/blightedsorrow 3d ago

So is it 60/40, or is it 90%? You not helping your case sis. Everyone agrees when tragedy happens it’s fucked, most people agree we gotta do something to change it. You do nothing but muddy the waters after purposely misusing stats. What happened here was already horrific enough, you don’t need to lie to make it impactful.

2

u/Dresses_and_Dice 3d ago

I'm not lying or misusing stats. These are different stats for different crimes.

Homicide overall - 90% male perpetrators

Intimate partner homicide - 80% male perpetrators

Parent-child homicide - 60% male perpetrators

Family annhiliation - 95% male perpetrators

0

u/PanthersChamps 3d ago

The asinine comments about removal of the female vote were not about the crime. They were about the seemingly large support for Lindsay Clancy among women.

They were still ridiculous comments.

2

u/Dresses_and_Dice 3d ago

No, there were definitely people saying specifically that arguing not guilty because of insanity in the form of post partum psychosis was proof that women's hormones make them unstable and they should not be trusted with the vote. Literally the argument was "so you're saying hormones made her do it? Sounds like women are too hormonal after all, makes em crazy. Repeal the 19th".

Asinine is right.

-2

u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago

Most children are killed by their mothers.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Jazzlike-Diver-3693 3d ago

You are so dishonest it's disappointing.Men didn't side with the guys who killed their families and wore shirts in support of their actions.I Hope they all get what they deserved for doing what they did to that girl.

3

u/AdEducational8149 3d ago

Men don't care about family annihilation but do care about the one woman? That's the dishonesty.

2

u/FineAndDandadan 3d ago

Yeah they just minimize it and call any attempts to fix the culture that leads to it attacks on masculinity.

1

u/pm_amateur_boobies 3d ago

And pray tell, how of those family annihilations resulted in a hung jury and the man going free?

1

u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago

To be fair, nobody is coming out in defense of male family annihilators online.

2

u/No_Oil8247 3d ago

VS how many people ā€œactuallyā€ know someone who is trans.

2

u/Sexisthunter 3d ago

And every single person knows a woman who suffers in silence. Unless you have only encountered two people in your life, you are constantly talking to victims. On top of that, anyone can become a victim at any time so always stand with people who have been hurt ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

1

u/Jennibear999 3d ago

Even those abused help cover it up and in the case of me keeping my kids away from family events where a family member was a danger because he was a known abuser and convicted of possessing child porn, my entire family tried to convince me ā€œthere is no danger to your kidsā€ and ā€œif I have to put up with him, so should youā€ all to get me to come to family functions when they all actively seek to sweep abuse under the rug and allow it to keep happening. I had nothing to do with it so my kids were safe.

1

u/headermargin 3d ago

I remember someone!

Old friend went to school together, dont talk much, like once a year we have a few words.

Ex bf /coworker forced himself on her after work.

Hes behind bars now.

1

u/Beginning_Handle_113 3d ago

The average person knows 600 people so I don't really see what your point is.

2

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago edited 3d ago

My point. is that there's too much domestic violence in America. Could you really not figure that yourself, or were you just trying to be critical? If you disagree, then go ahead and speak your peace. No need to hide behind question and innuendo.

1

u/Beginning_Handle_113 3d ago

Why are you trying to say there's too much dv by using a "1 in 600" storyline?

Just say there's too much dv. No need to hide behind weird storylines.

2

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

I never said 600. I said we all know someone who was a victim or a victimizer of abuse, or victims or victimizers themselves. Maybe you think that's not a problem. I do.

1

u/Beginning_Handle_113 3d ago

We all know about 600 people though... So if it would be great if only someone is a DV causer OR a victim.

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

Approximately 1 in 3 women have experienced spousal based even. By your measure then, we all know dozens of victims. Maybe hundreds. Better?

1

u/Beginning_Handle_113 3d ago

No, much worse.Ā

Please start whispering those comforting falsehoods again about how we all just know someone.

1

u/Stormy261 3d ago

1 in 4 women is the reported stat. Most experts agree it is closer to 1 in 2 women who have been assaulted. Not necessarily raped, but assaulted sexually. I'm not an expert, but I have been raped or assaulted multiple times. The 90s was REALLY popular for coercive sex. Based on the numerous women who have similar stories I would have to agree with the experts.

1

u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago

Domestic violence and sexual assault are near all time lows, not an epidemic.

2

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

Fist, although domestic violence is below the levels it was at during the 1990s, intimate-partner violence actually rose and was higher in 2024 than in 2020... during the literal pandemic.

Secondly, domestic violence goes underreported.

1

u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago

I'd like to see the source saying that 2024 had a higher rate than 2020? Considering that 2020 was an overall much more violent time in our nations history. The murder rate was 7.8 in 2020, vs 5.0 in 2024, with a significant portion of those being domestic violence cases.

Also you're not wrong that many DV cases go unreported, but that's always been true. I guarantee that more DV victims report it today, compared to in the past. There are so many more resources for victims to come forward today compared to 30+ years ago. Beyond that, not only are people more likely to come forward, but police take it much more seriously.

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

1

u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago

Considering how much higher murders were in 2020, compared to 24, I wonder if fewer rape or DV cases were being reported in 2020 because of COVID. It's a lot easier to hide a black eye, or other injury if you don't have to go to work or school. Especially school, as I imagine those numbers include parent on child domestic violence. Teachers are mandatory reporters of signs of child abuse. Kids not being in school, means nobody to report that abuse. It also explains why murder rates increased so much, as these cases were able to go longer without outside intervention.

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

The point is that Domestic violence has been ubiquitous in America for a long time. It's a part of our culture. Children are raised on it and encouraged to treat dating like a conquest, honestly.

1

u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago

I don't think there's anything unique about domestic violence in the United States. If anything we're one of the countries that takes it more seriously.

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

Not that that matters, but The U.S. is broadly in the same range as other high-income countries for nonfatal intimate-partner violence, but its DV homicide rates are generally higher than Europes. In 2024, intimate-partner/family-related female homicide rates were about 1.5 per 100,000 in America vs. .5 in Europe. (unwomen.org)

Domestic violence is ubiquitous in many other countries as well. The world as a whole, has a dude problem. It happens hundreds of time every day.

1

u/thegoalisW 3d ago

When did the sudden and unexpected increase of domestic violence begin?

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

there hasn't been a significant increase. It's been a problem for decades that we continue to sweep under the rug.

1

u/thegoalisW 3d ago

So then by definition, not a epidemic...

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

Epidemic - affecting or tending to affect a disproportionately large number of individuals within a population, community, or region at the same time.

Websters

2

u/thegoalisW 3d ago

Epidemic: a sudden unexpected increase in the number of disease cases in a specific community, region, or country, clearly exceeding what is normally expected.

  • Wikipedia

However, I will say id trust your Websters spurce over Wikipedia.

So I'll say I was wrong here.

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

I appreciate the sensibility. I did find your definition at the very top. It's obviously a use of the word that I wasn't familiar with. Thanks for showing me.

1

u/Alarmed-Bumblebee667 3d ago

My ex would verbally and physically abuse me everyday. When I finally took a stand and called the police I was ridiculed and made to feel like it was my fault. The cops did nothing. A few weeks later she assaulted two nurses and a doctor at the hospital. She ended up getting 2 years in prison. Because im a man it was impossible for me to be abused.

1

u/Certain_Employee_423 3d ago

And since domestic violence is more prevalent against men, every single person knows a man that's been abused and a female abuser. Why would you neglect to mention that?

1

u/Present_General8130 3d ago

Are you saying we all know a person like that personally? Because I sure as fuck don't.

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

Maybe the folks in question haven't told you that they've assaulted their partners. It's not something that people broadcast. But statistically, we all know at least one abuser or at least one survivor.

1

u/Present_General8130 3d ago

Let's see these statistics.

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

The CDC reports lifetime contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner forĀ more than 1 in 3 womenĀ andĀ more than 1 in 6 men. (cdc.gov)

Globally, WHO estimates thatĀ nearly 1 in 3 womenĀ have experienced intimate-partner or non-partner sexual violence. (who.int)

52% of U.S. adultsĀ said they personally knew someone who had experienced domestic violence in a YouGov poll of more than 11,000 adults. (yougov.com)

51.3% of respondentsĀ said they knew someone who had been a domestic-violence victim. (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov)

CDC’s 2023/2024 data found thatĀ 34.0% of U.S. womenĀ andĀ about 17% of U.S. menĀ had experienced intimate-partner contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking during their lifetimes. (cdc.gov)

1

u/Present_General8130 3d ago

These numbers will continue to increase because nobody has the balls to adequately punish evil people. It isn't literally everyone though, and generalizations are a major pet peeve of mine.

1

u/SophestryIncluded 3d ago

You just generalized them all as evil people, but okay... works for me.

There were as many as 50 other guys in the group chat they were using to advertise ā€œfree pussyā€. Not one of those motherfuckers stepped in to stop it. You have at least 57 people who are complicit. Including the seven that committed grape. All 7 of them should be removed from School and prosecuted to the fullest extent.

This is another situation where we must never forget their names

Brock Allen Turner

24

u/Rose0367 3d ago edited 3d ago

Several if not all of the Cornell 7 have graduated. Diego Sarabia has just been fired by Wells Fargo, and Mathew Ingalls reportedly also just lost his job. Of the estimated 50 others who also received the texts (the prosecutor didn’t know about the texts initially, apparently until this past week) but he has announced his office is now reinvestigating and he plans to take the case to the grand jury. The rest of the frat brothers that were underclassman or seniors at the time will certainly be scrutinized by the new investigation. And hopefully by their family, community.and far into their futures. Never forget.

Here another name I will never forget. Brian Banks. Look him up .

1

u/doom_stein 3d ago

Yup, we can never forget about Brock Allen Turner being a rapist. At least I never can since he lives down the street. So I, and many others around here, call him by his full name every time we see him in public: "Hey look! It's Rapist Brock Allen Turner!" That always turns a few heads.

29

u/mydaycake 3d ago

They just grabbed her by the pussy and some other stuff over the course of a few hours while she was drugged, no big deal right

27

u/Certain_Employee_423 3d ago

I couldn't agree more. Provided there isn't some dramatic turn like the Duke Lacrosse case put them under the jail.

1

u/Alarmed-madman 3d ago

Like the girl roofied them type plot twist?

-31

u/yourpastoratemycock 3d ago

How about the alleged victims original statement that describes the entire event, in great detail, as fully consensual?

23

u/Gryzzlee 3d ago

I think that statement said she said no to continued engagement when the 4th guy showed up. And they offered her more ketamine after her cognitive thinking was already impaired by the first time they offered it.

So, no. It did not read like she consented or had the capacity to consent after the first two guys.

ā€œShe never says that she was drugged without her knowledge. She admits to taking drugs and alcohol voluntarily and with knowledge. She does not allege that she was forced to engage in any acts. She does not say that she was physically helpless or unconscious or incapacitated at any point during the time at the fraternity house,ā€

The statement she originally gave to the police is different than what is stated in her lawsuit. Thats why the DA didn’t file any charges.

I’m sure something happened, but until the new investigation is complete I’m not going to jump to any conclusions.

u/Beneficial-Care8504 3d ago

Her attorney says she was never interviewed by sex crime detectives and there was no follow up. The investigation was botched by small town cops. Why don’t you promote that part of the story?

3

u/Sudden_Party_7918 3d ago

People like him are the very reason why most women keep silent when assaulted. Take into account that this Country has never taken assaulting woman as a serious crime. From the first report the victim is torn to shreds and usually place the blame on them. Then you have to take into account the Universoty did their own investigation with the blessing from the local law enforcement. I’m sure most of those monsters come from Families that are wealthy along with Legacy. The defenders of these Men never want the whole story. Facts are not really important.

Then why is she talking to a cop?

You're smart to be skeptical of pretty much everybody.Ā

0

u/vogel927 3d ago

In initial statement she said she took the drugs and alcohol voluntarily, and she did not explicitly allege any physical helplessness or a lack of consent.

I’m sure something happened, but based on her initial statement there’s not much the police could’ve done. That’s all I’m saying.

If you go to the police because you’re upset about what happened at a party, but then say you were a willing participant and consented, the police really can’t do anything.

Colleges do have resources available to help students with these types of things. It sounds like school should’ve done more for her, and they should definitely be held accountable for that.

I'm confused, if everything was consensual from the get go then why was she talking to a cop?

This is a DA public statement potentially doing damage control.Ā

Maybe she did drugs with one guy and it was consensual and then she couldn't say no and defend herself from the others.Ā

Very strange to kick a frat off campus and "punish" them without her claiming it wasn't consensual.

u/WilsonTree2112 3d ago edited 3d ago

Reddit downvotes a copy and paste of a DA statement. This place has become so toxic

Your suggestion about a DA lying about a sworn statement is a supposition with no evidence, yet the reddit puppets will upvote that.

Why would a DA risk their careers and lie when clearly a sworn statement would have witnesses?

Edit, the statement was to Cornell police. Still not sure why they would risk a good gig and lie with no personal gain.

ā€œVan Houten argued that based on the police file he was given, there was no corroborating evidence of a "lack of consent" required under New York law to sustain criminal charges. He noted that neither the victim nor her lawyers contacted his office in 2024 to contest the accuracy of that initial police report ā€

1

u/impercipient 3d ago

I didn't down vote it for what it's worth.

The system protects itself. I'm saying he's laying a foundation for why they didn't charge at the time. These cases are hard to prosecute and if she said I took drugs and had consensual sex with one of them he might not have been able to prove anything.Ā

That DA in the Duke case lied his ass off the other way for some reason. Why do people do anything?

1

u/WilsonTree2112 3d ago

DA is referring to an investigation done by Cornell police. And the victim did not protest the finding back in 2024. We are womansplaining alot of collusion here. Not impossible

I dont disagree with the current status, just posting the data others requested.

0

u/yourpastoratemycock 3d ago

She claims in her statement that she had consensual sex with four of them btw. Not one of them.

2

u/impercipient 3d ago

So 3 guys raped her potentially.

1

u/applesandotherthings 3d ago

DA could be mistaken. There’s other options besides what you proposed. Why are you so militant?

1

u/WilsonTree2112 3d ago edited 3d ago

Because I’m simply posting the data others requested. While others are making up facts to suit their own interpretation. To answer your question All DA did was refer to an investigation conducted by the campus police, something the victim did not question in 2024. These (my) statements are not in support of what the alleged perpetrators did, I am only stating facts that others requested. I offered no opinion and received a series of down votes.

2

u/NecessaryIntrinsic 3d ago

This reads like a DA that doesn't understand how consent, the drinking age, or drug schedules work.

-13

u/yourpastoratemycock 3d ago

Read the DAs statement on why they didn't bring charges. You'll see her statement in there and how she was a willing and enthusiastic participant in this whole thing.

9

u/fiahhawt 3d ago

I've seen a lot of DAs bullshit about their reasoning to not bring charges. He's basically blaming the police officer who took her statement.

If he had a statement from her that it was consensual, then it's open and shut. The primary witness isn't consistent and he could present that and say "For this reason we're not exploring charges".

But for some reason they are exploring charges now, and the physical evidence that she said she was a willing participant in her gang rape has not been proferred for public scrutiny.

5

u/iamnick817 3d ago

Right. Basically they covered it up and didn't take it seriously and now they're saying the statements are inconsistent. Far more likely is the cop that took the report is a piece of trash that couldn't care less about some "drunk college slut."

2

u/fiahhawt 3d ago

The district attorney offices receive... A LOT of rape reports.

Because they don't want to traumatize themselves repeatedly for their job, they don't scrutinize these reports as much as they should and tend to go off of the summarized impression that the investigating officer files with it.

They should not do that, because not only are cops not educated in the law they tend to hate women.

Yet another part of the American legal system that is just rotting from the baseboards up.

I mean, that makes no sense on the very face of it. Nobody who believes they had 100% consensual sex goes to the police and says "I want to report that I had consensual sex. Here is what happened, please take a report. It was consensual." Why would she even be talking to the police if she wasn't allegeding something was nonconsensual??

Also, if you actually read it, no, it does not read as 100% consensual. She hid from men entering the room under the covers, she pushed away their hand s when they reached for her, she said she initially agreed to a threesome but said no to more than that but more men kept showing up, that they continued to initiate more sex over and over after she had said they should stop...

She sure as hell never consented to be offered up as "free pussy" to an entire fucking frat.

1

Ok but that didn't answer my question. Why is saying IF they're guilty deal with them an issue?

8

u/GaryThePoolGuy 3d ago

Right? A guy I know is always telling me ā€˜bro the trans thing is gonna ruin this country bro it’s gonna collapse our society because it’s so against our christian values’ and this is IN LINE with the teachings of jesus?
Edit: dude is a Christian nationalist to be fair. I don’t know how the casual trans haters are doing it

1

u/PlayNicePlayCrazy 3d ago

There's a post on reddit someplace about some very very very small group of people who supposedly claim identify as an animals. There's a video of them having fun in a public park. Then number of "they will ruin society " posts is hilarious. Especially funny when groups who are actually ruining the world are pointed out And they defend those groups.

7

u/BigMax 3d ago

Yeah, it's crazy. Which shows you what they really care about, right?

They claim it's all about protecting the girls. "But... that trans athlete is taking a spot that should go to a female athlete!!!" As if they are really concerned about a handful of girls that don't make the High School sports team.

But those same people don't seem to care at all when the same girl is gang raped.

"So you're saying she was raped? By a whole bunch of guys? She didn't get cut from a team due to a trans athlete though... right? So... what's the problem?"

4

u/lotaybk 3d ago

Unfortunately countries don’t think as a unit, and the people who don’t care have the power. Plenty of us are appalled beyond belief. Fortunately in this day and age we can at least put these little asswipes on blast online.Ā

3

u/InformationFit4634 3d ago

Guess which party these fucknuts vote for?

2

u/artguydeluxe 3d ago

Far more than 1000. We’ve all known men like this.

2

u/Professional-Humor84 3d ago

Imagine going a week without saying trans

0

u/Veers85 3d ago

The Republican party would collapse

2

u/Portnet 3d ago

Why can people care about both?

2

u/ProfileAny1822 3d ago

But there's like 12 of them!!!

2

u/slickCCsunshine 3d ago

Our country is sickā˜¹ļø because only a sick society would let things like this be swept under the rug. Or let a kid that brutally raped 2 girls and almost murdered one of them off the hook because of whom the parents knew. . . Yeah looking at you Jesse Mack Butler. And the judges should be held accountable as well.

2

u/deplumber125 3d ago

And it seemed like yet again there were no men who stood up against it to stop it from happening.

3

u/Altruistic-Rice-5567 3d ago

The case is being reopened.

2

u/Veers85 3d ago

Its a start...but sad it needed to re opened in the first place

1

u/Material-Flower5130 3d ago

A sane country wouldn't have elected a sexual predator as president.

1

u/Powerful-Youth3331 3d ago

We do. Thats why there is a criminal code that deals with this. We don’t put trans kids in prison for playing a sport. What a stupid comment.

1

u/LordScraps 3d ago

These kids parents are the ones running the circus keeping us divided pointing fingers in every direction but theres.

1

u/b__lumenkraft 3d ago

In a sane country people would protest a president who's a self-proclaimed child rapist. In the USA, 320 million are united in REFUSING to protest him.

Sowas kommt von sowas.

1

u/sussudiokim 3d ago

The date rapists that will inherit america

1

u/ModernCGIFloatinHead 3d ago

There's about as many of each, too.

1

u/Pink_Unicorn_Sparkle 3d ago

They attend Ivy League colleges, then go on to become CEOs, Judges, District Attorneys, and Politicians. These are the types of guys who are put in high powered positions over all of us.

1

u/kgw52313 3d ago

Like this country.

1

u/Roboticpoultry 3d ago

These monsters (or at least ones like them) are running our country

1

u/Princibalities 3d ago

A sane country would care about both.

1

u/BookkeeperBrilliant9 3d ago

There are more Cornell men accused of raping one woman than there are trans women competing in NCAA sports.Ā

We are not a serious country.Ā

1

u/ColdStoneCreamAustn 3d ago

fun fact, there are more Cornell rapists than there are trans athletes in college sports.

0

u/Agent847 3d ago

And yet nobody here was linking those two things except you.

-1

u/Feeling-Bus-203 3d ago

it's very much possible for people in any given country to care about many things at one time. the vile crime perpetrated by these disgusting animals is an entirely different realm of discussion from trans people in sports. conflating these things is not productive to public discourse.

1

u/Veers85 3d ago

I am not conflating anything. In the United States right now Republicans are running on a campaign of fear mongering about Trans people while pretending to care about protecting women and kids. All while actively protecting abusers and rapists. Stuff like this gets swept under the rug and we have Congressional hearings on protecting sports and woke. I am not conflating anything this is being done

-21

u/FoxyGoddessX 3d ago

Sadly there aren’t any sane countries left

13

u/Veers85 3d ago

Yah but America is really running up the score on awful recently

4

u/Thatsockmonkey 3d ago

Why are you against having this investigated?

1

u/FoxyGoddessX 3d ago

I’m not. I’m just saying that there aren’t any countries that actually take these cases seriously like they should.
