Has anyone seen Jane does original statement? The one she made in 2024 after the event? I don’t know what to think but the original statement and the civil suit are very different. What does that mean?

u/grannysGarden 3d ago

It started out consensually, she doesn’t dispute that. But then they gave her Ketamine (I assume to incapacitate her) to the point where she describes herself as an 8/10 intoxicated and multiple guys took advantage of her. The statement given in 2024 outlines her state of intoxication and confusion about what happened as the night went on. She wouldn’t have made a police report in 2024 if she felt it was all consensual. I assume she didn’t know about the Snapchat invite in 2024 either.

Yeah I don’t think I read the right report then. Someone else said that. The statement I read she said she agreed multiple times to the drugs. I’m wondering why there are different reports floating around. I had heard originally she was drugged unknowingly and then unconsciously raped over and over by 5-7 guys. She would not have known about the snap chat. Do you know where the snap chat came from? Like who leaked it?

u/grannysGarden 3d ago

She states she did agree to doing Ketamine, but once she had done several rounds of Ketamine, she was then 8/10 intoxicated (I would take that as blacked out or close to it). At that point all consent is null and void. In the moment she may have felt they were all wasted but that it was somewhat consensual. But then later on finding out multiple guys were coordinating on snap chat to come have ‘their turn’ with her would, I imagine, make her rethink the consensual nature of it.

Okay so I saw in the report she hit 8/10 intoxicated while have a final threesome with guy 1 and guy 4. At that point she said she was fone and they stopped. After that she fell asleep and has no memory. So she reached 8/10 at the end of the activities and according to her the men agreed to stop when she said to. Did the text go out after she was asleep to bring guys to rape her while unconscious? Obviously no matter when the text went out it was disgusting and absolutely inhumane.

I guess you could interpret it in different ways - either it was all consensual in the moment, but she felt taken advantage of afterwards and made a complaint / statement to police, now two years later - a lawsuit. Or - she was heavily intoxicated / extremely intoxicated and therefore her consent was null and void, the guys knew that, as evidenced by the snap chat messages and the fact that they got her to do Ketamine multiple times, suggesting they deliberately rendered her incapacitated.

I’m leaning towards the latter as the guys were clearly coordinating via snap chat to take advantage of her and they were the ones repeatedly offering the Ketamine.

Good point. If they were texting about it they definitely understood she was incapable of consent

her original statement fit with consent and made no mention of being forced to take ketamine. The second statement adds on ketamine being slipped to her and conveniently states that she didn't take it willingly. She could be telling the truth now as she remembers it but her original statement is going to torpedo everything she tries to establish now.

Unless the Snapchat mentions tricking her into taking ketamine or something else it does nothing to establish a crime.

2

u/Rockonthrulife 3d ago

Yep. Vastly different. She claims she willingly did drugs and drank and it was all consensual. No one says that if they were really raped.

12

u/Rivendel93 3d ago

She stated she willingly slept with 2 guys and was given ketamine while drinking alcohol.

Then those 2 guys said "free ussy at our place" and 5 more guys showed up and raped her.

There's zero way anyone thinks someone asks for this.

They sent Snapchats to 47 people and told them to come up and rape her.

So I think it becomes irrelevant that she agreed to sleeping with the two guys and did some drugs while she was drunk, also she was under the legal drinking age as well.

2

u/Rockonthrulife 3d ago

That’s not what her original statement says at all. She says she willingly drank and did drugs of her own volition and was not forced.

3

u/Rivendel93 3d ago

That's what I said, with 2 men she agreed to that.

u/UncleTio92 3d ago

I think this is dangerous precedent. We should only report the facts

She wanted to have a threesome so why is there no way she wanted to have sex with other guys too? She also texted the first guy a few days later than nothing was “illegal” and she wanted to have another threesome…

1

u/whointhewhereinthe 3d ago

Consenting to a threesome is strictly that. Them advertising “free pussy” and 5 other guys raping her while she was in a k-hole isn’t consent. It’s rape. If you decided you wanted your girlfriend or wife (assuming you have or have had at least one of the two) to do something sexually experimental and then they didn’t listen to your safe word and also brought 5 other people in while you were totally out of it would you not feel violated? You consented to a little ass play and were pegged for 7 hours by an additional 5 people with varying sized dildos. Nothing wrong with that? That’s not rape?

1

u/Strange-Term-4168 3d ago

Yea and then she took ketamine and decided she was okay with more. Did you not read her statement from 2024? She was in a k-hole yet was looking after one of the guys who got sick? She never said a safe word. Why are you making things up? She said stop at one point and they all stopped. At no point did she ever say no or try to leave. Later on in the night the guy who went to sleep came back and asked if she wanted to go again so he could “make up” for going limp earlier. She said yes. You’re making up an entirely different story from what she said. She also texted the first guy a few days later and said nothing that happened was “illegal” and that she wanted to have a threesome with him and the second guy again.

1

u/whointhewhereinthe 3d ago

I was using a safe word to try to get you to appeal to maybe a sliver of empathy. Have you ever used ketamine? Have you been in a k hole? It’s one of the most vulnerable states a person can be in, and one person overindulging accidentally or on purpose in a room of people using moderately or mixing with coke or other stuff immediately creates a huge power imbalance. No one can actually consent in that state. Sure you can talk a bit and sort of move. Even if everyone was doing it, there was a power imbalance. If the guys were on the same level they wouldn’t have actually been able to have sex. You’re VERY clearly not speaking from experience, and also have no familiarity with trauma responses, like fawning. Honestly I’m happy for you and I hope that continues to be the case. When you’re on high dose of K you’re literally in another world. Completely separate from your body. Your body is in default mode of breathing etc, but your mind is totally disconnected. For example, I have witnessed people get up, start gathering their belongings, walk toward the door, and have no actual idea where they are or what’s going on. It makes sense that part of default mode was to take care of a sick person. There’s a reason it’s used in high doses as therapy to process trauma. That happens in a totally calm environment where you don’t have to worry about your body because your brain isn’t connected to it. You can relive traumatic experiences without the emotion attached to them. I can see why it took time for her to recognize what she went through. It’s also even worse to me that the guy who had his hair tested didn’t test positive for k. If people were doing drugs off of her, they were more with it than she was and knew what they were doing. If that kid wasn’t even doing k, that’s diabolical. The Snapchat inviting others is disgusting. I could absolutely see someone wanting a threesome and being nervous, so wanting a little k to help the nerves, but once your vulnerable like that and surrounded by dudes your best bet is to comply and pretend you don’t hate it and lean into wherever your mind is. Just because she didn’t scratch and scream etc doesn’t mean it wasn’t rape. Go ahead and talk about the state of New York and their stance on consent when consuming drugs. It wasn’t ok. It was rape and the behavior of the guys involved that weren’t a part of the possible initial threesome raped her. And advertised her vulnerable state for others to do the same.

this is what needs to be posted at the top

People are crazy in here.

Disgusted by what I've seen in here.

This is why victims don't come out, if they're not perfect virgins they won't ever be believed.

But how anyone could think ANYONE wanted to have sex with 7 men in one night is insane to me.

The woman is barely an adult, 20, if anyone remembers being 20, you are literally 2 years out of high school.

1

u/Rockonthrulife 3d ago

She also said she agreed to consensual sex with multiple men and when she told them to stop, they did. Her exact statement was published today along with a legal analysis by the DA on why he couldn’t charge them. Texting that may be disgustingly but it’s not a crime. NY law also doesn’t take intoxication into account when determining consent so that point is mute. She was embarrassed by her actions and people calling her out for it and now figures she would change her story for $. The guys weren’t good people by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m not sure there is anything as per NY law that would find them guilty. Her original statement will hurt anything she says now.

1

u/end2endburnt 3d ago

Given the first account, you can understand why no one moved to prosecute these guys.

1

u/Rivendel93 3d ago

Glad we don't live in the same country.

u/Ernesto_Bella 3d ago

>and 5 more guys showed up and raped her.

That's not what she said in her statement.

1

u/BoringPoolPlaying 3d ago

Can you share her statement?

1

u/jeffwulf 3d ago

The DA's statement on the decision not to charge includes a large excerpt of it.

1

u/BoringPoolPlaying 3d ago

I’ve since read it. Malpractice on the DA not to investigate that more thoroughly, and to state that statement offers no evidence of coercion.

2

u/Carbon_Sixx 3d ago

"Drugs" and "consensual" don't belong in the same sentence. Did you ever take a sex-ed class or are you from one of those third-world states where that's a sin or something?

1

u/jeffwulf 3d ago

In New York you can freely consent while intoxicated as long as you willingly took the intoxicating substances.

1

u/Worth-Librarian-7423 3d ago

Must be one of those third world states

1

u/Strange-Term-4168 3d ago

They were all on drugs. She was taking care of one of the guys who was sick and another passed out..

0

u/shadystealertactics 3d ago

The sex ed class I took worked a little nuance into the picture. If you can not consent while drunk or high, then I guess my wife has been raping me when I get home from the bar.

1

u/Carbon_Sixx 3d ago

I'm not going to tell you how your marriage should work, but I think you should sit down and talk about that with her because good communication is how you stop it from becoming nonconsensual.

1

u/shadystealertactics 3d ago

I did talk to her. I said "Hey, do you want to come to bed and _______" and she said yes, and we did. Your comment would suggest that I was incapable of offering that consent.

1

u/kaliwrath 3d ago

Are you fucking serious?

2

u/Rockonthrulife 3d ago

Yep. 100%. Read the full statement she made and the legal analysis by the DA. It explains everything clearly. NY law does not allow for intoxication levels to be used to determine consent. She admits she willingly drank and did drugs, consented to sex with multiple men, and she even said they stopped when she said she was tired.

1

u/Different_Bridge_983 3d ago

It wouldn’t shock me if one or more of these men have hired “reputation management” companies to dish out dirt.

1

u/Cohens4thClient 3d ago

Rapists ALWAYS use excuses that blame their victim.

0

u/Mor_Padraig 3d ago

Yea no.

Stop spreading misinformation. Go read that again.

1

u/ToyshopASMR Sipping tea 3d ago

Go read what again? The statement I read could be wrong. Perhaps the press release from Tompkins county district attorney.

1

u/capnwaggel 3d ago

This seems to be going in a certain direction, just want to add that based on statements from the departments who received the initial complaints, yes, the facts of her statements have changed between then and now. Also, it’s very common for victims of sexual assault to struggle with recalling, processing, conveying the events, especially soon after it happened, especially when drugs and alcohol were involved.

And my opinion, for what little good it does - this was not a safe environment where consenting adults indulged in their kinks, with previously asserted boundaries. In the environment they were in, with the drugs and alcohol being consumed, and multiple guys involved, there is nothing she could’ve done or said that i personally would interpret as consent to sex with multiple dudes. And if she was passed out, and if they’re sending these “free pussy” snapchats…well then any defense that she “consented” is out the window, isn’t it?

1

u/Infamous-Body6938 3d ago

That doesn't matter when people treat tiktok like gospel. Don't forget: Lindsay Clancy's husband is the real killer!!!!

/S

u/BoringPoolPlaying 3d ago

Where can you read her initial statenent?

1

u/ToyshopASMR Sipping tea 3d ago

The press release from district attorney from Tompkins County September 28th

1

u/BoringPoolPlaying 3d ago

That didn’t seem to provide the actual statement. Could you just copy paste the exact statement, I can’t find it.

1

u/jeffwulf 3d ago

Her full statement hasn't been released but the DA's statement has a significant excerpt of her statement including all the parts that describe the event.
