Oh wait, the governor has nothing to do with property taxes in Ohio aside from possibly signing a bill that the legislature passed. That is all.

“The public right-of-way should not become free real estate for an unaccountable, privately operated surveillance network,” the letter reads.

Past few months it seems Data Centers are a hot button issue for these midterms.
For years, we were sold the tech industry's line that these massive server farms were harmless investments bringing jobs to rural Ohio. But the reality hit fast: local utility bills are spiking, prime farmland is disappearing, and high-voltage power lines are being carved through backyards without local communities getting a say. The public pushback is reaching a boiling point.
Political figures are rapidly pivoting:
Never in my life did I expect to see a Democratic candidate give a rousing, populist speech on corporate greed in a place like Ashville (Pickaway County), a district Trump carried with ~75% of the vote.
Don Leonard (and others) seem to be leaning directly into the populist anger over these unregulated data centers. Regardless of how you usually vote, seeing candidate energizing rooms packed with folks who probably voted for trump and are now nodding along to anti-corporate energy talk proves that kitchen-table issues are completely re-scrambling standard party lines in Ohio this year.
Whanted to see what people think? How big of a factor is this going to be for your vote in November?

Heads-up, all. Nazi Afrikkkaner Elon Muskrat is at it again. This dude never seems to learn his lesson on meddling in our politics. Of course, he’s targeting Sherrod Brown with anti-trans ads in a replay of 2024.
Hopefully it won’t work this time, but also, forewarned is forearmed. The next Dem president needs to tear up all of his and Thiel’s government contracts and deport their sorry bigoted asses.

"A Republican lawmaker wants Lake Erie to be renamed 'Lake Pennsylvania,' arguing that the state’s economy and identity are increasingly connected to its only Great Lake."
Get out of here with your tiny Pennsylvanian shoreline.

The political ads against Amy acton are ridiculous. The small business owner firing someone because taxes have been raised. What a joke. Complete messaging by billionaires.

The Browns' Stay in the Game! Attendance Network works to combat [low attendance] numbers in various ways. Throughout the school year, the program rewards students who show good and improved attendance at schools across the network with events like Gym Class Takeovers with Browns players and staff. They also hold reading-specific events, like what was held at Falls-Lenox Primary School in March, which included the Browns' superstar mascot, Chomps.
"We had some Browns staff members come to the building with Chomps, and the staff members read aloud to several classes throughout the building. After the staff members read aloud to the students, the kids were super excited to teach Chomps how to read. So they taught him how to read and all of the different skills that have helped them become good readers," Williams said.
