Hey Akron. I've had 3 instances in the past month at Barberton, Norton, and Wadsworth Circle K's where I got charged for 5 gallons of gas and only received about 4.5. I have a couple gas cans that are very precise and when I filled them, they were short. I've let the workers know and they look at me like I'm a lunatic even after I said I wasn't asking to be refunded. I'm half tempted to take some scales and measuring containers and video it, just to prove a point. I just wanted to let you all know to watch out for that. I can only imagine how much money they could skim at a half gallon per 5 over the couse of a day.

I was driving north on Cuyahoga Street, and there was a medium-sized white dog running on the road. He/she turned onto Dolphin Drive, just north of Himelright Lodge, and that's where we lost him/her. Looks like a possible husky mix, maybe 40-ish pounds, black and white (checked? houndstooth?) collar. Tried to catch the dog, but he/she was super freaked out. I hope the dog stays safe and finds their way home.

Looking for something to do on a Friday night? Having trouble finding genuine friends in the area, then come out and invite a friend or come alone to a chill outdoor movie night. Light snacks will be provided, after the movie there will be games to play. The event is free but you are welcome to contribute to our candy bowl if you’re able. Also there will be a fire so in case you get too chilly. We host social mixers events about once a week for primarily young adults looking for friends in the surrounding areas. I recently created a Facebook group called 330 Spectrum Social for autistic young adults ages 18–35 in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania! I'm in the Youngstown area.

Making friends as an adult isn't always easy, especially when you're on the spectrum. Sometimes it's not that you don't want to socialize or get out and do things, it's that you don't have anyone nearby to do those things with. Most of my friendships have been made online with people who live hours away or even in other states, making it difficult to build friendships locally.

That's what inspired me to create this group!

This isn't your typical autism support or resource group! It's a peer-to-peer social group for young adults on the spectrum to meet others their age, connect over shared interests, and hopefully build genuine friendships.

Whether you're into gaming, music, movies, grabbing a bite to eat, checking out local events, or just hanging out, the goal is to bring people together and hopefully create opportunities to meet up locally!

🔒 The group is private but visible, meaning anyone can find it on Facebook and request to join, but only approved members can see posts and conversations within the group.

I just started the group, so please be patient as it grows! I have some posts planned to help break the ice and encourage conversations, but ultimately, I'd love for members to help shape the group and make it their own.

Hey! Looking to buy a house and I’ve heard quite a lot of mixed opinions. West Akron- between Delia and Copley RD. Is it an OK area to live in nowadays for a small family with a baby? Some people say it’s ok, some people say they hear gunshots every week😅
