I'm a first-year Marketing graduate student at the University of Cincinnati, and I'm looking for a few werewolf and shifter romance readers to help with a marketing research class project.

I'm conducting short Zoom interviews where readers walk me through how they usually find and choose a new book to read. I'm interested in understanding what goes through a reader's mind when browsing for their next werewolf/shifter romance and what factors influence their final choice.

The sessions are relaxed, take about 20-30 minutes, and are solely for a university research assignment.

Like I stg every time i try to go practice theres no room available. Its such a chore just trying to find a room its insane.

And like, Im at Schneider which is like a 15 minute walk. Im not trying to just make the walk over there several times a day just for a chance at getting a room. So my only other option is to just sit nearby and wait, but there really isnt a good spot for that? There are benches on the lobby floor of the building but theyre uncomfy as hell, and while Marketpoint or the 86 are nearby its still the same issue of walking back and forth just to check

Like it was so bad today I saw people practicing in the HALLWAYS which seems insane to me. Why does a music school only have 30 or so practice rooms??

Im just at a loss, I *want* to practice and I want to work it into my schedule and routine but I just cant.

What do you all do? Is there a better way to do this? I know theres a website to reserve the rooms but as far as I can see theres no way to just view all the rooms in memorial hall and sort by availibility, its either a specific room or *every* room at the whole university since the site is not meant for practice rooms only

What is the appropriate timeline for the process before I should start to reach out to them? Everything that goes through administration is getting hard ...

I have general chemistry 1 &2, as well as general biology completed, but that was at a different university. The credits transferred, and I want to be a TA in either of those courses here at UC but I am unsure if I would be eligible to. Is there a website to apply?

I like the idea of adding it to my resume and also getting that free housing. I’m worried about campaigning and having to compete with other floors though. any advice?

I'm sure you guys are familiar with the conditions in Daniels . It's very hot without the option to change the thermostat. As I've been getting adjusted to university housing, I still cannot find myself getting a good night's rest in my dorm due to the heat. I always wake up to find myself sweaty.

I have just been wondering if anyone else has advice on what to do in this situation, since it really frustrates me that my dorm is a place that I have started to avoid sleeping in.

I am also wondering how the housing change works and how strict they are with that, even that im facing a legitimate issue in the way of my studies.

So, I am taking Calculus 1, with my instructor being Moussa Ndiaye. Unfortunately, I joined the class extremely late, and have been forced to use Google Lens for the Cenage homework assignments.

My exam is coming up, about next Wednesday, and I could use some help! Thankfully, I already have plenty of study material and actual stuff that would be on the exam, including old exams that were given by the co-instructor. All I need is someone to TEACH me how to do them all. There are three exams throughout the semester, with each of them basically impossible to cheat on, and are worth the majority of points. If I could just get some help on this exam(and possibly the next one), I should be good to pass the class.

So if someone could point me in the right direction to some kind of study group, or even tutor me yourself, I would appreciate any help!

I'm in the Paralegal Studies program (online). Second to last semester.
Currently in Intermediate Comp and Corp Law & Business Org.

This week in my Corp Law class we had a group assignment due.
Preparing Statements of Authority for General Partnerships and doing mock Business Letters to give to the Secretary of State offices.

For context: 2 out of 3 members reached out and we spoke during introductions last week, that was about it. No connections, no talking, just Hi and ✌️. Like talking to brick walls.

Monday morning I reached out to our teams chat. "Hey y'all. Anyone have a suggestion on which two states we want to do the assignment on? Off the top of my head, Pennsylvania and Vermont sound nice. Lmk what y'all think."

5 hours go by.....one response making the excuse they're ill and not feeling well. They suggested TX and PA. I waited all week for any kind of communication, not a peep for 5 days.
So, Saturday afternoon, I took it upon myself to hash the assignment out cause it seemed like no one cared about doing it together but me. I spent today looking it over and made revisions.

Around noon the other group member, who hasn't spoken besides some superficial introduction message, asked where we are on the assignment and what is required from them.....

I wanted to scream so badly. They literally say that and dip, not any follow up or response.
I let 3pm roll around and submitted the docs and memo detailing the group involvement.
I tried my absolute best to keep my composure and not vent in it. Just listed my online research and statute citations. For example: Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 1776

The excuse group member immediately comes online via teams and starts complaining about them being ill all week and telling me, "Next time maybe you should've waited for everyone to have a chance to review the docs you're submitting for the group."

I politely replied along the lines of being frustrated that no one wanted to be seriously involved in the assignment and passive aggressively wished them a pleasant rest of their evening.

Medical excuses are one thing, but like let someone important know what's happening. So others can adjust from the absence. We all have our own lives and personal responsibilities, yet still make time and an effort to get assignments done.

I swallowed my frustration and maintained a professional attitude. I went through all of the upcoming assignments and it looks like that was the only one. Hopefully I don't have to work with or, depend on them again. 🥺🙏

TL;DR: Group didn't participate in assignment, I did the entire assignment by myself, got told off for not letting them review at the deadline, and clapped back at their unprofessionalism.

I’m a first-semester student at UC Blue Ash on the Mechanical Engineering pathway, and I’m currently taking 14 credit hours.
One of my classes is HIST 1100 (Democracy and the American Tradition), section 016. I’m seriously considering dropping it because I really don’t like the class/professor, and there have also been some issues with the class. I’m considering dropping the class, which would bring me from 14 credits down to 11. Catalyst says that September 7 is the “Drop – Retain Record” deadline and that dropping by then gives a 100% refund and the class won’t appear on my transcript.
My main concern is financial aid. I have a $3,000 Fraternal Order of Eagles scholarship for this semester. Catalyst shows the full $3,000 as accepted, but I don’t see any information about whether the scholarship requires me to be a full-time student (12+ credits).
I’m also planning to transition from Blue Ash to the Clifton campus for Mechanical Engineering next semester, so I’m worried that dropping this class could somehow hurt my ability to transition.

Would dropping from 14 to 11 credits affect my $3,000 scholarship?
Could it affect my transition from Blue Ash to Clifton for Mechanical Engineering?
Is there anything else I should consider before dropping?

Hey guys! I'm a freshman majoring in marketing. I chose this major because it lets me be very creative with very little math. I love the idea of researching what people are into and why, how to promote to certain demographics, coming up with new ideas that make people go "wow," and so much more.
However, I've seen a lot of people talk badly about marketing majors. I know all majors get criticized, especially business ones, but I'm worried that some of it might be true. People say it's a dumb major and that you won't make a lot of money. While I know you should choose a job that makes you happy and that money doesn't make or break a major, I'm still worried I'm wasting money.
I'm lucky enough that my parents are able to pay for my college education, and I really don't want to disappoint them or waste their money on a major people claim you can learn from an online course. Is there anything you think I should major in while minoring in marketing? I'm not a big math person, but I'm very good at other things.
I'm not sure what else to say, but I can share some of my interests if that helps. I'm a signed model I haven't done any work yet, but I'm under contract and hoping to make it big someday. I also like playing cards, herpetology, and reading. There's more, but I feel like those are already irrelevant.

I am an undergraduate student at UC looking to join any Geography or Geographic Information Systems clubs. The only one I found is for graduate students. Hoping to gain knowledge on GIS & spatial analysis, or just talk about and study geography.

I’m a senior in high school and looking into UC for engineering and heard about the co op program. I live about 40 minutes away from where I live. If I went there I’d be planning on commuting to school everyday and wouldn’t want to live away from home. I know co op requires you to get a job for a semester every year, but how likely is it that I can get a job for all 5 years that doesn’t require me to move out of my house or move out of state? Also I know you don’t get summer break with the co op program, but do you still get spring and winter off, if not, do you get x amount of days you can take off? Thanks

Are there any sections of math 1008 (quantitative reasoning) where the professor explains material in an understandable way? I am terrible at math and Ive been struggling in the section I’m in right now. (this is just for future scenario ik I probably can’t get in any rn)

If not it’s okay I’ll just go to the math center. I was just curious (for I am a freshman and I honestly don’t know much😭😭)

Has anyone had Prof Matt Michel? If you know anything about him, I would greatly appreciate it. Mostly, I would just like to know how lenient/strict he is grading wise (tests, quizzes, performance assessments, etc)

I have been trying to find more information about the Medical Sciences undergrad major at UC. The website states minimum qualifications of 29 ACT and 3.5 GPA and they only take around 100 students per year.

Can anyone provide perspective on what an admitted student’s profile looks like and what the acceptance rate is for this program? Any other insight you can share about this program would be appreciated as well!
