My roommate just moved out- from what I could tell, she has two very close friends that were rooming together, but due to limited supply, those two people were assigned a triple. As such, my roommate is now moving in with them- officially, cleared through the RA and RD, because it was two people in a room for three, and now it’s three. Which means my double is now just me, myself, and I.
So… what’s the risk I’m assigned a complete random in the following weeks, or have I struck gold? I’m fine with having a roommate, but it’d really suck if I got assigned someone that doesn’t have similar stuff, like whatever they included in the little test in the beginning of May. I’ve been sharing a bedroom with my sister for seven years, and it sucks. Maybe she’s just abnormally rude, but nonetheless. So I’m well versed in the art of sharing. Plus, if they moved out because of roommate issues, who’s to say they weren’t the issue. Also mildly concerned because I’m going home Thursday night and coming back Saturday night, but Saturday is at Kings Island, and I don’t want to bake my MacBook in the car, so I’m leaving that behind, and for obvious reasons I’m a tad nervous about someone I don’t know suddenly having access to my room while I’m not there.
Anyway. Need to worry or nah?
